Would I be correct in assuming that, if I go through a door and have to battle a pokemon or some sort of effect happens on my active pokemon, it would use the pokemon next to whom the door is listed?

Either way, I choose the White Herb/Magcargo door. The door with Smooth Rock/Hippowdown next to my Tyranitar seems so appealing, not to mention perfectly placed, but a Hippowdown isn't the best match-up against any of my pokemon.
