Rules:

6v6 Doubles
ASB Arena
Strict 96h Disqualification. One warning per player. If pupil gets DQ'd twice, he can be kicked out by tutor. If tutor is DQ'd twice pupil may ask for replacement.
2 Recoveries / 5 Chills per Pokémon.
Three Substitutions per player excluding KO Substitutions.
Switch = OK
Abilities = ALL
Items = ON
Mega: One
Sendout = Tutor sends out first.

Special Battling 202 Mentorship Rules:
The twist is: any and every move made by pupil must be justified. And if the Tutor doesn't accept the justification or knows of an action-set that accomplishes the same more efficiently, he may demand the pupil to reorder, resend the team, send out a different pokemon or a different item, or to explain further his strategy, until the tutor is satisfied. Yes, this means that "surprise" won't be a good strategy to use here, simply because of how unreliable that is. The tutor won't need to justify whatever, so surprise remains a good option for him.

Terrible repetitive plays from the pupil may cause the tutor to call a DQ, with the approval of the Manager of the course This program is for mildly experienced players. If you don't much idea of how things work, then the best way to fix it is with practice, not this program. Same way: if you are bringing your A-Game, then why bother?

Arthur @ Focus Band | The Artist @ Life Orb
Syclant @ Focus Band: I brought Syclant as my number #1 option for dealing with an Aerodactyl, since it can't be demolished by Rock-typed moves on entry, and it has both Blizzard and Icy Wind as good spread moves. The Focus Band is implied because in Doubles, Syclant is focus bait, so at least use 5 actions there :^)

Greninja @ Life Orb: Greninja is doubles is just all around good stuffs, and having good stuff mons around never hurts.

Note about these orders: All mentions to Greninja in them mean Frosty's Greninja. I will say The Artist if I mean mine.

Arthur: Icy Wind - Rock Slide - Blizzard
IF Aerodactyl and Greninja are KO'd when you are to act, THEN Spikes.
IF Aerodactyl is KO'd when you are to act, THEN Icicle Crash (Greninja) the first instance, Icicle Spear (Greninja) all later instances.
IF Greninja is KO'd when you are to act, THEN Icicle Crash (Aerodactyl) the first instance, Icicle Spear (Aerodactyl) all later instances.
IF Wide Guard is used, THEN replace your respective action with Icicle Spear (Aerodactyl) and push back.
IF Greninja is under the effects of a Damaging Evasive Move, THEN Icicle Spear (Aerodactyl) and push back.
IF Aerodatyl is under the effects of Mat Block, THEN Substitute 15 and push back.

The Artist: Icy Wind - Rock Slide - Blizzard
IF Aerodactyl and Greninja are KO'd when you are to act, THEN Toxic Spikes.
IF Aerodactyl is KO'd when you are to act, THEN Hydro Pump (Greninja).
IF Greninja is KO'd when you are to act, THEN Hydro Pump (Aerodactyl).
IF Wide Guard is used, THEN replaces your respective action with Hydro Pump (Aerodactyl) and push back.
IF Tailwind is to be used, THEN Snatch the first instance, Taunt (Aerodactyl) the second instance.
IF Aerodactyl is under the effects of a Damaging Evasive Move, THEN Smack Down (Aerodactyl) and push back.
Sheesh that's a headache to think up.
Anyways, the goal here is slowing the enemy team in order to not get owned by D/E or Flinch spam. Once the enemy team is slowed, I go into full Spread spam mode, hopefully nailing some flinches on the way.

Wide Guard subs are obvious here because Aerodactyl has it, so we target Aerodactyl to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Tailwind because Tailwind is the easiest way to thwart my attempts at speed control, and also yeah Tailwind is a nice speed boost

Alright, these D/E subs are a bit weird. Considering that Syclant lacks a good option for dealing with D/E here, but there's no way that Aerodactyl can remain in the air since Greninja would just knock it down, so the plan would be to attack Aerodactyl brutally.

Syclant subbed for Mat Block because it had a sub left and I wasn't exactly sure what else to deal with, so I chose the scenario where it can't deal damage to anyone at all, but due to one move.

KO subs are KO subs. Focus the alive one or just set up hazards if they both died somehow.

Now to await my orders being torn apart...

Don't get used to me saying that, but that Syclant strategy was extremely well thought. Kudos.

Things to Consider:

1) I don't like Greninja being used while ordering first. Yes it has a nice array of spread moves, so it can deal good damage. But it deals so much more damage ordering last, that this decision always carries a fuckload of opportunity cost. Gardevoir would probably be a more recommended play here, as it doesn't go bad vs the mons I have here and it can spread on its own right. BUT, I won't force you to change it, as Greninja can work it nevertheless.
2) The Syclant strategy is a good one, but it has a cost you ought to consider. If I choose to be conservative with Aerodactyl (which I should) and spam protect, you will start next round in a bad situation.

Things to Change:

1) By the time I posted the battle, I had changed Greninja's nature back to Naive, but I forgot about it (and still haven't changed the profile to this day -_-) and stupidly made the thread before the change was made. On normal circunstances I wouldn't be able to change it yeah. But this is a tutoring experiment, designed to help with strategies, so it is best for it that all things are as intended, as you can't rely on mistakes of that kind on serious battles. Because of that I changed the speed of my greninja above. I recommend you adjust your actions accordingly. And the fact that I am pointing it out here is because there are many things you will need to adjust, as you probably are aware of.
2) You don't have a P/E sub. While I usually disregard that as a problem, the key to your defenses is that A1 of yours. Should I begin the match with a double protect, then things tend to go downhill a little bit. Not much on this round, but on the second? surely. I mean, to give you a couple examples:
a) My own greninja won't be that much harmed by your attacks. I am calcing 52-58hp, which seem a lot, but it is something Greninja itself can deal back. This means I can remove aerodactyl from the equation, use only greninja and still be able to be on par with you on the damage race. If I protect A1 to avoid the enhanced flinch chance, I can exploit your Greninja's Rock Typings to deal around 54hp of damage to it with a Rock Tomb-Hydro Cannon one-two, while setting up a lovely switch on the next round. Not to mention that next round will be a breeze with a slow greninja.
b) Sky Drop, being the broken move it is, is immune to your subs. While that usually isn't a problem, you have a flying-weak mon on the field and also there is nothing that stops me from being really really ridiculous and using Sky Drop on my Greninja A2 (with Greninja using Spikes) to escape Rock Slide at a cost of 13.5hp, which is a very small cost, all things considered.
c) Can you possibly imagine how brutal the next round will be if I manage to get in a bulldoze or a icy wind on this round while protecting a1? We are talking two rock slide users vs two faster rock sliders, with lots of weaknesses on your side and bad speed, as well as no wide guard.
Your A1 is very important. I mean very very very very important. It alone warrants you having all your subs with "push back" clauses. And it also warrants at least one P/E sub. Not because of the move you can use instead of Icy Wind, but for the push back. And yeah, I am aware that there are other ways to escape, but P/E is a risk-free option for stalling, whereas the other options will involve my mons taking a beating for it, which is good for you. You can't avoid all strategies from being employed. Your best bet always is to make sure they aren't as cost-efficient as they could be.

Should be all for now. If you disagree with any of the above, lemme know and we will work something out. I will give this a second look when you post (the first one took almost 2 hours, so bare with me -_-).

EDIT: Greninja happens to be my only line of defense against any attempts by Aerodactyl to get out of my moves via Sky Drop/Fly.

Note about these orders: All mentions to Greninja in them mean Frosty's Greninja. I will say The Artist if I mean mine.

Arthur: Icy Wind - Rock Slide - Icy Wind
IF Aerodactyl and Greninja are KO'd when you are to act, THEN Spikes.
IF Aerodactyl is KO'd when you are to act, THEN Icicle Crash (Greninja) the first instance, Icicle Spear (Greninja) all later instances.
IF Greninja is KO'd when you are to act, THEN Icicle Crash (Aerodactyl) the first instance, Icicle Spear (Aerodactyl) all later instances.
IF Wide Guard is used, THEN replace your respective action with Icicle Spear (Aerodactyl) and push back.
IF Aerodactyl AND Greninja are under the effects of a Protective/Evasive Move, THEN Focus Energy the first instance, Blizzard the second instance, pushing back each time.
IF Aerodatyl is under the effects of a Protective/Evasive Move, THEN, THEN Avalanche (Greninja) and push back.
The Artist: Icy Wind - Rock Slide - Icy Wind
IF Aerodactyl and Greninja are KO'd when you are to act, THEN Toxic Spikes.
IF Aerodactyl is KO'd when you are to act, THEN Hydro Pump (Greninja).
IF Greninja is KO'd when you are to act, THEN Hydro Pump (Aerodactyl).
IF Wide Guard is used, THEN replaces your respective action with Scald (Aerodactyl) and push back.
IF Aerodactyl is to use Sky Drop, THEN Smack Down (Aerodactyl) and push back.
Update to this, Icy Wind on A1 and A3, just in case somehow I missed something, I really need those slows.

Greninja drops its Tailwind sub to focus on worrying about Aerodactyl trying to use Sky Drop, because a -2 Spe Aero and Greninja in a Tailwind aren't fast enough.

Syclant subbed for Mat Block P/E because it had a sub left and I wasn't exactly sure what else to deal with, so I chose the scenario where it can't deal damage to anyone at all, but due to one move of your exposition after my first attempt.

KO subs are KO subs. Focus the alive one or just set up hazards if they both died somehow.

Now to await my orders being torn apart... again...

This is a small tidbit as I didn't have the time to analyse your new orders throughly, but I thought I might as well on the meantime.

Wide Guard focusing on one mon usually means that a protect pass becomes a possibility. Yes it will be 2 actions for 2 actions, but keep in mind what I said above about conservative being the way to go here, so if I null an action of yours, that is good for me.

It is pretty minor, but since our greninjas speedtie, I suggest you change your hydro pump to a move that will go before protect (burning scald comes to mind) in order to remove that conservative option from me without losing momentum (and a possible burn is a very nice thing) and without moving too much stuff on your subs.

Seems fine now.

(Greninja = his greninja)

Stallord/Aerodactyl: COMBO (Sky Attack + Sky Attack) (Syclant) - cooldown - Stone Edge (Greninja)
Garo Master/Greninja: COMBO (Bounce + Giga Impact) (Syclant) - cooldown - Rock Tomb (Greninja)

Toon this is up for reffing. I forgot to say it before so I will do so now (and it is valid for all battles): if you see any sub or combo inconsistency, check with me first before reffing. Since I can make mistakes too (in ordering or checking), it would be unfortunate to have this take a weird turn due to syntax or details instead of actual plays.

Yo yo YO! Welcome Peepz to Ferrum Dojo, the holy ground of Pokemon Battles and where our Mentor Frosty brings his Pupil Jayy to train and work on doubles! Frost man begins by sending out Garo Master the Greninja wearing his necklace which yields a Life Orb and Stallord the Aerodactyl wearing a Hard Stone headband. Jayy reacts by sending out Arthur the Syclant showing off his Focus Band and The Artist, also wearing a Life Orb necklace, apparently they're popular in the Greninja community.

Stallord starts off by flying high into the sky, gathering its strength. Arthur blows a blast of cold wind towards his opponents, sending chills up their spine and slowing them down. The Artist sees how Stallord flinched to the icy wind, so he sends a blast of cold air toward his enemies as well. Stallord had enough of being cold and dives down from the sky striking Arthur with incredible speed. Garo Master follows up afterwards and bounce off the ground and body slamming Arthuer causing the wood flooring to break underneath them, and knocking out the Syclant.
The Artist is left alone on his side of the field, and decides to paint the field with falling boulders that land on top of his cooling down opponents.
It worked before, it'll work again, as The Artist decides to paint the field the same cold chilly color it was before. Stallord smash his tail on the broken floor creating multiple sharp shards of wood. He then whips them, launching them towards The Artist. Garo Master decides to paint the field his own color and drops rocks on top of the opposing Greninja, pinning him down.

With that massacre lesson out of the way, let's see what the pupil will bring in vs his master. While we wait, we should fix the floor huh? Yeah probably not.

Ew that hurt a lot.

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
[Trace: Garo Master's Protean]
Simple choice.

1. My best option for a mega, hence the Gardevoirite
2. Who doesn't like more Protean?
3. Hyper Voice from her and Surf from Greninja is an easy KO on both Greninja and Aerodactyl
4. Telepathy to avoid my Greninja's damage

... I thought I posted here already. Oh well.

Counterswitch Declined.

1. I do not, at all, want to order first a second time.
2. Greninja does still have the speed lead here
3. Greninja and Gardevoir both have options for strong spread moves that are very usable here (Surf, Hyper Voice/Swift)

Infernape: Blast Burn (Greninja) - Fake Out (Gardevoir) - Rock Slide
IF
Gardevoir uses Ally Switch THEN Redirect towards Gardevoir (so it hits Greninja after ally switch, to make it clear)
IF Gardevoir is to use Protect + Light Screen A1 THEN Focus Punch (Greninja) A1
IF Gardevoir is under a Substitute AND Infernape is to Fake Out (Gardevoir) THEN Gunk Shot (Gardevoir) on the first instance, Fire Punch (Gardevoir) on the second and push back
Colossoil: COMBO (Fake Out + Fake Out) (Greninja) - cooldown - Iron Tail (Gardevoir)
IF
Gardevoir is NOT Fairy typed AND NOT Fighting Typed when Colossoil is to act A3 THEN Crunch (Gardevoir) instead
IF Gardevoir is under P/E when Colossoil is to act A3 THEN Stockpile A3
IF Fairy Typed Damaging COMBO A3 AND Colossoil is a target THEN Protect (Self) A3

Greninja: Die | Die | Die

Gardevoir: [MEGA EVOLVE] Shadow Ball (Infernape) - Icy Wind - Hyper Voice

Yep, I cannot figure out a way to actually save Greninja here. The only that could protect him is Protect Combo, which would just ENKO him, so he's dead.

Gardevoir I contemplated a damage rush with, but I (a) need to be able to respond to that Fake Out on A2 and (b) I need to take the control of speed for next round

Shadow Ball makes it so that the Fake Out is meaningless, and I can get off a free Icy Wind. Hyper Voice is my highest damaging option for A3.

Fair enough. Toon can ref.

The round just started, and Jayy is already down another mon! One might wonder how a Colossoil moves at the speed of light to smack the Greninja but in the world of Pokemon, there is no logic. As Rosso finishes off The Artist, Daisy turns shadowy and ghost-like and sends a Shadow Ball towards the Infernape's direction.

Rosso tries to fake out Daisy, but his hand went right through the Gardevoir! Daisy goes from ghost to ice as she summons a chilly wind towards her opponents, making them shiver and slow down. Gyorg needs to cooldown after breaking the laws of physics and yadda yadda.

Daisy goes back to her natural typing and sends out a powerful shout. The Infernape calls boulder to fall upon the Gardevoir to stop her from shouting such crazy fairy nonsense. Gyorg finishes the round by slamming his....tail? Sure, whatever. Gyorg bash his iron harden tail agaisnt the Gardevoir's noggin.
