Bunnelby

I usually run Bunnelby with torchic and this set counter so many pokes.

Bunnelby @ Focus Sash
Ability: Huge Power
Level: 5
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Lonely Nature
IVs: 0 HP / 0 Def / 0 SAtk / 0 SDef
- Quick Attack
- Flail
- Earthquake
- Thief

(The weird EVs/IVs are so bunnelby goes down to it's sash easier)
With a +2 attack and speed boost from tochic this guy becomes a huge threat. being able to kill anything not double resistant with a 200bp stab flail. Quick attack kill most of the priority save for meditite and timburr. Thief is to kill ghost types and to counter berry juice sturdy pokes like tirtouga. Taking a hit going down to sash and stealing their berry juice healing back up to full. Even without the pass from torchic this thing can be used to kill pokemon that you might otherwise have trouble with. Throwing him into a losing battle going down to sash and killing them with flail. It even OHKOs oblivious wooper with a full damage flail.

some full damage flail calcs (it says no Move because I can't get smogon calc to change flails base power)
228+ Atk Huge Power Bunnelby (No Move) vs. 236 HP / 156+ Def Eviolite Wooper: 28-34 (112 - 136%) -- guaranteed OHKO
228+ Atk Huge Power Bunnelby (No Move) vs. 196 HP / 156+ Def Eviolite Slowpoke: 25-30 (89.2 - 107.1%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
228+ Atk Huge Power Bunnelby (No Move) vs. 116 HP / 76+ Def Eviolite Vullaby: 25-30 (100 - 120%) -- guaranteed OHKO

It's a build that is used to surprise your opponent and come out on top, but be careful fake out can be a problem for this strat

Unfortunately, this set is extremely gimmicky, and relies entirely on Torchic getting off the speed boosts. Essentially anything that is a physical attacker can sweep most of the metagame with a swords dance and a couple speed boost passes from Torchic.

In addition, due to multiple ways to counter this set, such as priority from anything not OHKOed by +2 quick attack or an extremespeed or as you mentioned fake out, setting up hazards, or multi-hit moves when you switch, it's not particularly effective. Flail does have potential, but return will be far more reliable and it's always nice to not have to worry about a sash being ruined due to rocks.

Bunnelby's scarf set is so good ATM, only really being countered by like wat, misdreavus? And even then, it has a nice fast U-Turn so it can switch into your preferred missy check, gaining some nice momentum. It's STAB return hurts a lot even w/out a Life Orb boost, if only this thing got shadow
cla---ear?

In addition, Fletchling checks the set extremely well if rocks are up.
196+ Atk Fletchling Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 0 HP / 52 Def Bunnelby: 16-21 (80 - 105%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
228+ Atk Huge Power Bunnelby Quick Attack vs. 0 HP / 92 Def Fletchling: 10-13 (47.6 - 61.9%) -- 93.8% chance to 2HKO/guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

In addition, Missie is still a hard check to the set (if not a counter), as bunnelby will essentially never, ever be locked into U-turn when it comes in (so the "fast U-turn is essentially pointless). Also, gastly is just as good at countering/checking it (since it's immune to the same things) and lolbronzor is in the same boat. Archen also has its nice rock/flying typing.
228+ Atk Huge Power Bunnelby U-turn vs. 36 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Misdreavus: 4-5 (17.3 - 21.7%) -- possible 5HKO
228+ Atk Huge Power Bunnelby U-turn vs. 0 HP / 36 Def Gastly: 3-4 (15.7 - 21%) -- possible 5HKO
228+ Atk Huge Power Bunnelby Return vs. 228 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Bronzor: 7-9 (28 - 36%) -- 5.8% chance to 3HKO (U-turn does the same damage)
228+ Atk Huge Power Bunnelby Return vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Archen: 13-16 (59 - 72.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (note that this is Berry Juice Archen, so it heals up, and if it runs head smash it's a guaranteed OHKO)

Despite these flaws, Scarf Bunny is absolutely a very threatening set, and the only difference that is made is that LO bunny is able to OHKO Archen with Return after rock damage, a guarantee of a 3HKO on Bronzor, and it breaks Gastly's potential Substitute when it U-turns.
