Can the recent end of net neutrality effect the PS playing experience?

I was wondering if showdown will be considered "low tier," and therefore get throttled and lag like crazy after Verizon and others start doing evil nasty things to the internet. Are my concerns baseless?

Yes, they are entirely baseless, for two reasons: 1. The ruling ONLY applies to the DC Circuit, and 2. Even so, they are not going to start throttling sites like that. Do some research, because I'm guessing that your knowledge is based off of buzzwords. Net Neutrality IS a big issue, but the effect it will have on sites like Showdown! are minimal to none.

Thanks, I appreciate the clarification. But doesn't the DC Circuit determine national policy? I don't know why this makes it less likely to happen.
