Can't attack or switch when I battle

Got two losses in a row because I was unable to attack or switch pokemon in battle, could only chat. I made sure my saved team had their moves checked in, but still nothing happened. Is there something I didn't do, or is Shoddy just messing up on me. Any help is appreciated. :)

Asuming you have a mac, open system prefs, and goto Java. drag Java SE 6 to the top, and make sure its highlighted. Then reboot shoddy and try again.
