Overview
########

  • Basically a rock with eyes that is unbeatable and should be claimed legendary.
  • Access to Stealth Rock.
  • Great defenses.
  • Useful abilities.
  • Small movepool.
  • Bad defensive typing, with a lot of weaknesses
  • Low offensive stats.
  • No reliable recovery.
  • Extreme setup bait.

Moves
========

  • Calm Mind boosts Carbink's Special Defense and Special Attack, that allows it to hit harder with Moonblast.
  • Moonblast does not expose Carbink to Taunt, and has decent coverage on the overall.
  • Rest is the optionf or Carbink to recover, as it doesn't have reliable recovery on its own.
  • Sleep Talk allows Carbink to move when asleep, and has good synergy with Rest.

Set Details
========

  • Clear Body prevents Carbink's stats from being lowered.
  • Leftovers grants Carbink passive recovery, that ups its longevity a bit.
  • Max Defense allows Carbink to withstand more physical hits, and isn't invested in Special Defense as that can already be boosted with Calm Mind.

Usage Tips
========

  • Use Carbink against a Pokemon that doesn't threaten it, so it can set up.
  • Watch out for Taunt and Encore, they can really stop Carbink from doing its job.
  • Switch out of your weaknesses, especially from Steel-types.

Team Options
========

  • Fightning-type Pokemon that can beat Steel-types, such as Poliwrath and Throh, are useful, as Steel Pokemon really threaten Carbink.
  • Pokemon that can switch in Taunt or Encore without problems, are useful as this set is pretty crippled by these moves.
  • Preferably Pokemon that beat most of Carbink's weaknesses, such as Roselia or Rotom-Frost.

Moves
========

  • Sunny Day is great support for Fire-types, and other Pokemon that take advantage of Sun, such as users of Growth or Pokemon with Chlorophyll.
  • Stealth Rock hurts incoming Pokemon and breaks Sturdy and Focus Sash, and also puts the hurt on Pokemon weak to Rock.
  • Toxic hits defensive Pokemon, and eventually cripples setup after a few turns.
  • Explosion has tremendous power, and hits the hardest of all moves in Carbink's movepool.

Set Details
========

  • Sturdy ensures Carbink can set up.
  • Heat Rock when running Sunny Day, Smooth Rock when running Sandstorm and Icy Rock when running Hail.
  • Max Speed to set up Stealth Rock or weather as fast as possible.

Usage Tips
========

  • Carbink is a great lead, as it can set up Stealth Rock, but can be brought in any time when your team needs sun support.
  • Most of the time, Carbink should be setting up weather, except if the Pokemon that take advantage of it are KOed.
  • Carbink should, after weather is set up, set up Stealth Rock right away and use Explosion after.

Team Options
========

  • Pokemon that can take advantage of Sun, such as Victreebel, are good teammates, as they may be able to sweep with the support given. Though, this set should only be used on weather dedicated teams.
  • Allies that can take care of setup sweepers are good, as Carbink is extreme set up bait.
  • Preferably spinblockers as teammates to prevent Stealth Rock from being removed.


Other Options

  • Dual screen set
  • Trick Room
  • Carbink does not have many more options due a small movepool.


Checks & Counters
########

**Taunt** Taunt users can just cripple Carbink by just one move, and completely stops it from putting in work.

**Encore** Because Carbink is pretty slow, Encore after a status move easily stops Carbink.

**Setup sweepers** Set up sweepers, such as Fraxure or Linoone, can easily set up on Carbink and beat it after.

Not naming the set rock with eyes smh anyways I don't know if you were planning on adding it but restalk needs a set for sure
 
Change the name of the second set to "Calm Mind" since that's the main move of the set.

There should definitely be a weather support set somewhere, Carbink is the best weather support mon that gets SR.

Not to sure on the viability of Carbink as a dual screener, sure it also gets SR but it can rarely set it up with both screens and it seems worse than other screeners such as Meowstic especially since it's slow and has no offensive presence.

Tbh I think the rest calm mind set should be the first listed, and you can name it Crobink similar to Crocune and Crotomb which is a generally accepted name for suicune and spiritomb.
 
The weather set should have sun and rain and nothing else, we have snover and baby hippo so manual sand and hail is pointless. You're running explosion so it shouldn't have a -attack nature.

Honestly the spread for the weather set should probably be max speed jolly, the ability to outspeed a bunch of uninvested mons is really valuable and carbink is bulky enough with 252 HP anyway.

This should only be used on dedicated weather teams, make sure to stress this in team options. Likewise, mention volbeat and a few more sun / rain mons.

Mention in usage tips that you should almost always set up SR first and explode right after setting up both weather and sr so as not to waste precious weather turns.
