move 1: Return
move 2: Superpower
move 3: Facade
move 4: Toxic / Pursuit
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Scrappy
nature: Jolly / Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
  • Return gains a STAB boost and does the most damage.
  • Superpower can take on the Pokemon which resist Return, which consists of Rock- and Steel-types such as Golem, Probopass, and Pawniard, as well as bulky Ice-types such as Piloswine or Regice.
  • Facade should only be used when Stoutland has a status infliction, as it does more damage than Return and negates the halved damage from burn.
  • Toxic can be used to cripple walls which attempt to switch into Stoutland such as Solrock, Tangela, and Carracosta.
  • Pursuit can be used to trap and weaken Psychic- and Ghost-types such as Kadabra, Mr. Mime, and Misdreavus.
Set Details
========

  • A Jolly nature in combination with a Choice Scarf and maximum Speed EVs outpace Ninjask, as well as Torterra, Regice, Beartic, and Whirlipede after gaining double speed, while an Adamant nature allows Stoutland to hit harder.
  • Maximum Attack EVs allow Stoutland to hit as hard as it can.
  • Scrappy makes Stoutland able to hit Ghost-types with Return and Superpower, allowing for it to spam its moves easier.

Usage Tips
========
  • If you can, try not to reveal you have a Choice Scarf until late-game to attempt to get a surprise hit on a foe.
  • Return is Stoutland's strongest attack and should be selected the most out of anything.
  • Stoutland takes the role of a revenge killer, which can take on weakened opponents.
  • If Stoutland has a status ailment, Facade should be used in place of Return, while Superpower can take on Rock- and Steel-types.
  • Avoid switching Stoutland into strong moves.
  • Stoutland can be effective with Toxic Spikes on its side of the field or if it is inflicted with status as it gains a boost to Facade, but is worn down easily.
  • Being locked into Pursuit or Toxic can make Stoutland setup fodder for Leafeon, Carbink, and other set up sweepers.

Team Options
========
  • Entry hazard setters such as Carracosta, Roselia, Piloswine, and Clefairy can wear down opposing teams, break Focus Sash and Sturdy, which can give Stoutland a small chance to OHKO Zebstrika and other Pokemon, as well as 2HKO Avalugg.
  • Wallbreakers such as Ursaring, Barbaracle, and Machoke can weaken or take out physical walls, allowing Stoutland an easier time taking them out.
  • Volt Switch Probopass, Baton Pass Togetic, and slow momentum move users can give Stoutland free switches and prevent from it getting weakened.
  • Rapid Spin users, such as Armaldo or Torkoal, appreciate Stoutland's Pursuit support as it allows them to use Rapid Spin without being blocked by Ghost-types.
  • Due to the same point, Fighting-types, such as Machoke and Poliwrath, would appreciate Stoutland weakening Psychic- and Ghost-types.

this looks like it was c/p'd from the scrappy wallbreaker set already on-site. please use your own words, even for a skeleton this is way too much to be allowed. The sets are different enough in their purpose that you do not need to copy.

In Usage Tips, mention that Stoutland is best used as a revenge killer for picking off weakened opponents.
In Team Options, give examples of hazard setters and what OHKOs or 2HKOs Stoutland achieves with them. Also mention wallbreakers that can wear down the opponent's team.
1/3.

Play rough should defo be deslashed as both the other moves are so much better - i think toxic should also get first slash due to the rise in usage of tangela (also pokes like tort etc)

qc reject 1/3 sorry, choice scarf stoutland hasn't gained any popularity apart from being hyped for a week but nothing more really. also if someone wants a more speedy normal-type he should go for Ursaring or Choice Scarf Sawsbuck which are way better.

has pretty much nothing over scarf dodrio, sawsbuck and qf ursaring, cant even revenge kill +2 barbaracle and +2 jolly torterra reject 2/3

Yeah, this thing was really overhyped when the set was made; scrappy is nice for a scarf normal but most ghosts still wall you anyway.
reject 3/3, rip
