The crowd is intrigued by these two newcomers, who did not proudly parade their Pokemons before battle. Perhaps they have mutually agreed to keep their cards up their sleeves, yet in this world of technological advances, additions, and addictions, common sense would dictate otherwise. Very well then, as the Nargacurga settles upon its designated stand, a coin is flipped. Heads means Haradion leads, tails otherwise.

And Haradion wasted no time in sending out his trusted Pawniard! The crowd roars in anticipation!

IceSpade sends in lead, with orders

Hi guise I'm IceSpade, the "Cool"trainer! I send out Obliterator the Elekid!

"You're in for a shock!"
Okay Obliterator! First, shock that little chess piece with a Thunder Wave to prevent him from attacking!!! Next, further make his life harder by using Double Team with 2 clones!!! Now deal some big damage with Cross Chop!!!
Thunder Wave~Double Team (2 clones)~Cross Chop
"Get ready to be obliterated!!!"
If Faint Attack is used A2 or A3 replace Double Team with Cross Chop

Note, I checked out all moves to see if they were compatible with these commands. If they work or not is up to the refs discretion.

"Ah. So naive..."

Pawniard! Watch out for those Cross Chops!
Crush that undersized spark plug! Spin with your Swords dance to spin behind him, then slice and dice with Faint attack, into X-scissors! Break him!

Swords Dance - Faint attack - X-Scissors

Notes: Swords Dance spinning action cannot fully deflect Thunder Wave, since Elekid's STAB typing gives it an innate expertise on wielding it. But should Pawniard spun behind Elekid, the A2 Cross Chop will suffer halving accuracy, as Elekid tries to spin around and attack simultaneously.

And it appears that IceSpade is the tech-savvy one, using his fast Obliterator-Elekid to swiftly Paralyse Pawniard and press the advantage! Unfortunately outmatched, and haxxed at the very first opportunity, Haradion's team has taken double beating with consecutive Cross Chops, opting for heavy offense instead of a balanced approach. But Obleterator-Elekid is not without loss - Pawniard still left his mark with a Faint Cross Scissor! I'm sure both battlers are now furiously swiping their touch-screens at the moment, searching their Pokedex and calculators for viably strategy, so let's see what they'll unleash next!

And Obliterator-Elekid continues to outplay Pawniard, anticipating his jump by setting up a Barrier to taunt the latter even further. Punching the air like a Sucker, Pawniard could only Attack Faintly through the force-shield before Obliterator-Elekid lands a heavy Chopping Spree that left her opponent down for the match and herself out of breath! Looks like Haradion may be able to take advantage of this, but which will it be next? With Obliterator-Elekid dealing such a powerful blow, the stands both cheered and bellowed for revenge. ("After all, vengeance and strength are the 2 elements of a good fight.") That, or any reality show.

And since today is the ASB Pedantic Day, I humor thee with the following quote from the nearest book:

And IceSpade plays defensively this round, as Obliterator-Elekid sets up some newly-improved Light Screen, probably for her teammates in the future of the match. Meanwhile, Rebble continues to land Prehistoric Blast after STAB Gem blast Powerfully upon Haradion's orders, ignoring the full paralysis in the quest for vengeance. Can Haradion now even the odds with another heavy attack, or will he outsmart IceSpade in the even longer run? What of IceSpade, who currently holds a slight edge in momentum?

Well... There isn't much to say about this, except maybe extrapolate upon the battlers' possible psychology warfare. Was IceSpade trying to lose upon his terms? Did Haradion purposely made such a powerful order to scare his opponent to KO-ing herself? Did IceSpade want to conserve his field advantage? Or was it all a game of feinting and counterfeiting, where the present move is but a play 10 rounds into the future, yet has no hold upon it as soon as the next round starts? Obliterator-Elekid, upon seeing the potential of heavy damage, attempted to reverse-play and take out the paralysed Rebble with a huge Chopping Spree, but ended up wasting an action of Light Screen and one round's worth of Paralysis!

Action 1:
Elekid used Helix Hanging Chop!

Exterminator-Golett desired vengeance so much, it appears the poltergeist have forgotten that seismic Magnitudes cannot deal damage towards the Levitatin formation of rock. Rebble switfly Drained its own energy to recover some Ulterior health, but unfortunately, Golett managed to score a Muddy Slap during Rebble's cooldown, making the latter missed its second attack!

So, Rebble decided to ease up on Paralysis and exhaustion by taking eighty winks, only to be left Broken and Drained upon its second forty.
