Flygon @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Def / 116 SpD / 24 Spe
Careful Nature
- U-turn
- Defog
- Earthquake
- Roost

Flygon is a great partner for this core because it provides pivoting to bring so these 2 have an easier time switching into stuff, provides really important hazard control cause delphox and abomasnow are extremely weaker to hazards and provide an answer to mons like houndoom and emboar. Amazing partner tbh.

Poliwrath @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Circle Throw
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Poliwrath forms a good core with the following mons, and allows it to handle generally most of the threats mentioned above's STAB moves very well. It can retaliate with scald or circle throw, which greatly damage houndoom, emboar, durant, and ttrum.

252 SpA Life Orb Houndoom Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Poliwrath: 113-133 (29.4 - 34.6%) -- 99.9% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Houndoom Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Poliwrath: 82-97 (21.3 - 25.2%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Choice Band Hustle Durant Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Poliwrath: 96-114 (25 - 29.6%) -- 0% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Hustle Durant X-Scissor vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Poliwrath: 96-114 (25 - 29.6%) -- 0% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Tyrantrum Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Poliwrath: 87-102 (22.6 - 26.5%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Tyrantrum Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Poliwrath: 139-165 (36.1 - 42.9%) -- 95.8% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Reckless Emboar Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Poliwrath: 84-99 (21.8 - 25.7%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Emboar Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Poliwrath: 141-166 (36.7 - 43.2%) -- 98.2% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

- Thunder Wave
- Scald
- Spikes
- Taunt

Meloetta @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Psychic
- Dazzling Gleam
- Calm Mind

Pretty basic core just wanted to get it out the way.

Deadline: March 4

Durant @ Choice Band
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- X-Scissor
- Thunder Fang
- Superpower
- Iron Head

Durant can outspeed and OHKO Meloetta with x-scissor, and even has a guaranteed OHKO with superpower and iron head after stealth rocks. Durant can 2HKO Qwilfish with thunder fang on the switch in, even with the intimidate attack drop.

252 Atk Choice Band Hustle Durant X-Scissor vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Meloetta: 644-758 (188.8 - 222.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
-1 252 Atk Choice Band Hustle Durant Thunder Fang vs. 252 HP / 196 Def Qwilfish: 190-224 (56.8 - 67%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

Delphox @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Grass Knot/Dazzling Gleam

Outspeed both, clearly OHKO Qwilfish with Psychic, and 2HKO Meloetta with Fire Blast if at the same CMind stage (also resists all Meloetta attacks oo)

252 SpA Life Orb Delphox Psychic vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Qwilfish: 564-665 (168.8 - 199.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Delphox Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Meloetta: 173-204 (50.7 - 59.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Meloetta Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Delphox: 72-86 (24.7 - 29.5%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO

Flygon @ Choice Band
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Defog

Massive threat and outspeeds both, CB 'gon can go for the Outrage OHKO on Meloetta while it doesn't take two -1 Earthquakes from a switch out, and an unboosted Dazzling Gleam would never kill. Can also handily come in and go for the suicide defog in a critic situation.

252 Atk Choice Band Flygon Outrage vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Meloetta: 303-357 (88.8 - 104.6%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO
-1 252 Atk Choice Band Flygon Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Meloetta: 169-199 (49.5 - 58.3%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO

252 SpA Meloetta Dazzling Gleam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Flygon: 208-246 (69.1 - 81.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

-1 252 Atk Choice Band Flygon Outrage vs. 252 HP / 196 Def Qwilfish: 163-193 (48.8 - 57.7%) -- 56.6% chance to 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
-1 252 Atk Choice Band Flygon Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 196 Def Qwilfish: 272-324 (81.4 - 97%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

Camerupt @ Cameruptite
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power Ice
- Toxic

Mega Camerupt generally makes sure the stall threats meloetta knocks down won't be getting back up. Makes terrific use of the spikes support offered by qwilfish and also serves a nice soft check to durant. It doesn't really beat flygon, but I honestly just wanted to pick a mon that could use the spikes to tear shit up so... Yeah.

Edit: Megarupt also handles houndoom and Spiritomb, which is rather beneficial for meloetta.

Ok this week core is :

Virizion @ Lum Berry
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance

Rotom @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 136 HP / 8 Def / 112 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hex
- Discharge
- Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp

A once really common with this team that was going around the basic mentality is that Rotom checks Durant, Fletch, Esca, and Mega-Lix all Pokemon that Virizion either can't OHKO or gets revenge by and either gets rid of them or Weakens then enough were like a 2+ Close Combat kills. Virizion is thier to provide a Water , Dark, and Ground resist witch Rotom hates.

Deadline: March 10

Meloetta @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
- U-turn

Meloetta can OHKO Virizion with Psyshock, and 2HKO Rotom with it, or can almost OHKO with rocks with shadow ball as Rotom can't touch Meloetta, besides wisping it or going for the chance to paralyze.

252 SpA Meloetta Shadow Ball vs. 136 HP / 0 SpD Rotom: 214-254 (77.8 - 92.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Meloetta Psyshock vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Virizion: 338-402 (104.6 - 124.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Emboar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Wild Charge
- Sleep Talk

Ayay too ease to handle this core by having emboar with its awesome ability and move.252 attk Flare Blitz + Reckless = R.I.P Viri-tom.
252 Atk Reckless Emboar Flare Blitz vs. 136 HP / 8 Def Rotom: 279-328 (101.4 - 119.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Reckless Emboar Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Virizion: 594-698 (183.9 - 216%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Durant @ Life Orb
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Superpower
- X-Scissor
- Crunch

Here's Crunch Durant, because I am a sociopath. Anyway, this set handles his core very well, provided you don't miss. Crunch cleanly OHKOes Rotom while iron head has a 50% to OHKO virizion from full health. Virizion can't KO back however, and if it has taken rocks damage it has an 80% to drop, so I still say it works.

252 Atk Life Orb Hustle Durant Iron Head vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Virizion: 296-348 (91.3 - 107.4%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Life Orb Hustle Durant Crunch vs. 136 HP / 128 Def Rotom: 320-377 (116.3 - 137%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Sneasel @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Pursuit
- Low Kick / Iron Tail
- Knock Off
- Icicle Crash

Cute mon and a massive threat to this core. Cant switch into either of them at all but the moment it gets a free switch-in provided through pivoting or whatever, you are in big trouble. Outspeed and OHKO both of them with the respective STAB moves, not much else to say really.

Tyrantrum @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Head Smash
- Outrage
- Superpower
- Dragon Claw

With a bit of prior damage, Tyrantrum can beat this core with Outrage, as it does around 80% to both

252 Atk Tyrantrum Outrage vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Virizion: 244-288 (75.3 - 88.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Tyrantrum Outrage vs. 136 HP / 4 Def Rotom: 229-271 (83.2 - 98.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Reserving Seismitoad

Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Sludge Bomb
- Hydro Pump

One of the best rock setters you could pair with these 2. Capable of checking a multitude of threats to this core at the very least. Beating fire types like emboar, being a sturdy rock resist against tyrantrum and killing durant right off the bat with hydro pump although LO x-scissor does a fuck ton. Neat stuff.

Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 248 HP / 28 Atk / 232 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast
- Roar

Nice rock setter that soft checks a lot of the threats to this core. Pretty neat stop to Tyrant and emboar and at least soft-checks sneasel. Also can shuffle mons onto the hazards with roar. It's something of a downer that it loses hard to flygon, though.

Internet was down sorry for delay:

Scrafty (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 156 HP / 252 Atk / 100 Spe
Adamant Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Drain Punch

Venusaur (F) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 248 HP / 92 SpA / 168 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 2 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Deadline: March 18

Venasaur and Scrafty is actually a pretty sick balance core that EonX made up. Venu checks Fairy, Fighting, and some poision types that Scrafty cants muscle through. Scrafty is basically the muscle of this core being a soft check to Tyrantrum and non-Arial Ace Aerodactyl while also being a solid check to those pesky Psychcic-types Venu hates.

Braviary @ Leftovers
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 HP / 168 SpD / 88 Spe
Careful Nature
- Substitute
- Bulk Up
- Roost
- Brave Bird

Venusaur is a set-up folder and Scrafty can't switch-in due to Defiant. CB HJK might kill from full though.

252+ SpA Life Orb Venusaur Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 168+ SpD Braviary: 165-196 (40.8 - 48.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Scrafty High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Braviary: 345-406 (85.3 - 100.4%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

Hoopa @ Life Orb
Ability: Magician
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hyperspace Hole
- Focus Blast
- Knock Off
- Shadow Ball

Hyperspace hole for venusaur and focus blast for scrafty. Bops them both to oblivion.

252+ SpA Life Orb Hoopa Hyperspace Hole vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Venusaur: 416-491 (114.6 - 135.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Hoopa Focus Blast vs. 156 HP / 0 SpD Scrafty: 367-434 (118.3 - 140%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Bulkysaur. I'm not really a fan.

Delphox @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Psyshock
- Dazzling Gleam
- Calm Mind

Basically, this core can't really deal with Dazzling Gleam Delphox, although it's not a particularly common mon. It can't switch in on scrafty, but it can eat a hit from venusaur and tear through the core from there.

Emboar @ Expert Belt
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Wild Charge
- Sucker Punch

Running jolly allows you to outspeed this Venusaur spread, as well as OHKO with flare blitz.
Also is an 80 percent to OHKO with superpower on Scrafty after -1 intimidate drop and rocks.

252 Atk Expert Belt Reckless Emboar Flare Blitz vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Venusaur: 634-749 (174.6 - 206.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
-1 252 Atk Expert Belt Emboar Superpower vs. 100 HP / 0 Def Scrafty: 269-319 (90.8 - 107.7%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Kadabra @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
Evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Signal Beam
- Encore

- Dazzling Gleam

252 SpA Life Orb Kadabra Dazzling Gleam vs. 156 HP / 0 SpD Scrafty: 380-452 (122.5 - 145.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Kadabra Psychic vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Venusaur: 361-429 (99.4 - 118.1%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

It has no viability lol rip :(

Gallade @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Zen Headbutt
- Knock Off

252+ Atk Life Orb Gallade Zen Headbutt vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Venusaur: 424-502 (116.8 - 138.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
-1 252+ Atk Life Orb Gallade Close Combat vs. 156 HP / 0 Def Scrafty: 322-382 (103.8 - 123.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

It easily OHKO's both of those mons but Adamant is needed over Timid to OHKO Scrafty otherwise Timid has 12.5% chance to OHKO and 252 Speed outspeeds that venusaur set.
