I know many people (Like me) have thought up of moves designed for competitive battling. What I am asking for is a place to put them.
Moves are extremely important in competitive battling. Imagine only using tackle and confusion as moves! I think we should have a project or forum dedicated to new moves for competitive battling.
Some ideas for rules (These are only ideas, the mods and admins have full right to change these or not implement these whatsoever.)
1. Moves need to be balanced in some way. Example:
Hyper Laser: 250 Power | 35 PP | --- (Always hits) Accuracy | Special |
Raises special attack by 3 |
If we had moves like this, there would be no need for competitive battling.
On the contrary, moves need to be usable in competitive battling:
Flop: 5 Power | 5 PP | 50 Accuracy | Physical |
That move is a real flop in every way.
2. No duplicate moves. Example:
Fist Slam: 50 Power | 35 PP | 100 Accuracy | Physical |
Sound familiar? It's tackle, just with a new name tacked on.
EDIT: Also, the ideas can be pushed to a vote if they are successful enough and can be potentially made into a move on showdown!
