[OVERVIEW]

Cryogonal is the most reliable Rapid Spin user in the tier. Its solid Speed tier and Special Attack give it solid offensive presence, and Levitate grants it an immunity to Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web, making it far easier to remove them. Cryogonal also has great natural Special Defense, allowing it to check many threatening special attackers such as Floatzel and Electrode and making it one of the best offensive checks to Rotom-F. However, Cryogonal's very poor physical bulk leaves it easily threatened or forced out by even weak physical moves and somewhat vulnerable to Pursuit. Additionally, its weakness to Stealth Rock makes Cryogonal fairly easy to chip away at.

[SET]
name: Special Snowflake (Offensive Rapid Spinner)
move 1: Freeze-Dry
move 2: Rapid Spin
move 3: Recover
move 4: Hidden Power Fighting
item: Leftovers
ability: Levitate
nature: Timid
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Freeze-Dry is Cryogonal's STAB move of choice, as it allows Cryogonal to threaten Water-types more effectively. Rapid Spin removes entry hazards to support Cryogonal's teammates, and Recover keeps Cryogonal healthy over longer games where it has to switch into Stealth Rock multiple times. Hidden Power Fighting hits opposing Steel- and Ice-types, in particular OHKOing Pawniard on the switch in and breaking Rotom-F's Substitute.

Set Details
========

Maximum Speed investment with a Timid nature allows Cryogonal to outspeed everything up to base 101 Speed Pokemon including Simipour and Speed tie with Kadabra running Hidden Power Fighting. Maximum Special Attack gives Cryogonal increased offensive presence to have more time to Rapid Spin, while Leftovers grants Cryogonal passive recovery to help with switching into Stealth Rock.

Usage Tips
========

Cryogonal should remove entry hazards as quickly as possible to avoid its teammates being weakened. However, if the opponent has a Ghost-type, beware of using Rapid Spin and giving it a free switch in, as it also blocks the entry hazard removal. In particular, be wary of Dusknoir, as it can Pursuit trap Cryogonal for most of its health, so Cryogonal should often double switch to avoid being trapped. Cryogonal can sacrifice itself to remove entry hazards if necessary. Cryogonal is extremely physically frail, and it should avoid all physical attackers if possible. While it is a good check to many special attackers, watch out for coverage moves or sets that can eliminate it such as Psyshock Mr. Mime, Superpower Simipour, and physical Floatzel. Use Recover to stay healthy over long matches, as Cryogonal will often need to switch into Stealth Rock multiple times.

Team Options
========

Pokemon weak to Stealth Rock such as Rapidash and passive teams that need a way to keep Spikes off the field appreciate Cryogonal's entry hazard removal. However, Cryogonal is not an ideal entry hazard remover for teams with too many Stealth Rock-weak Pokemon, as they can put a lot of pressure on it and stack Rock weaknesses. Physical walls such as Tangela are useful for Cryogonal to fall back on when it's forced out by physical attackers such as Stoutland. Fire- and Fighting-types checks such as Gabite, Altaria, and Grumpig help to check Cryogonal's main weaknesses, while Zebstrika and Electrode appreciate having a teammate that can switch into and threaten Stunfisk easily. Physical Floatzel is a useful offensive partner, as it can threaten Fire-types for Cryogonal while Cryogonal checks Grass-types and Vullaby.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A spread of 40 Def / 216 SpA / 228 Spe allows Cryogonal to survive a single Sucker Punch from Pawniard at full health and OHKO with Hidden Power Fighting while still outspeeding Simipour, Simisear, and Simisage. Toxic or Knock Off can annoy switch-ins such as Audino, Grumpig, Misdreavus, and Metang, although they leave Cryogonal totally walled by Pawniard and Probopass. Life Orb and Never-Melt Ice increase Cryogonal's attacking power to make it more of an offensive threat, but Life Orb can wear it down in conjunction with Stealth Rock, and Never-Melt Ice does not provide a significant damage increase. Explosion can be used on Life Orb sets to lure in and cripple or KO foes such as Grumpig and opposing Cryogonal. Hidden Power Ground threatens Fire-type switch-ins but leaves Cryogonal unable to hit Rotom-F. A spread of 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe can focus more on Cryogonal's bulk rather than its attacking power to be a more reliable spinner but leaves it fairly weak and easy to check. Ice Beam hits slightly harder than Freeze-Dry, but it is generally not worth missing out on threatening Water-types.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fire-types**: Cryogonal can do little to damage opposing Fire-types like Rapidash and Camerupt, and it is OHKOed or 2HKOed by all Fire-types' STAB attacks. Additionally, Simisear and Ninetales can use Cryogonal as fodder to set up Nasty Plot before KOing it.

**Fighting-types**: Both Monferno and Machoke can switch into Freeze-Dry multiple times and OHKO Cryogonal with Close Combat or Dynamic Punch. Monferno can also set up Swords Dance on Cryogonal or pivot on it with U-turn.

**Physical Attackers*: Cryogonal's paper-thin physical bulk leaves it OHKOed or 2HKOed by all but the weakest physically attacking defensive walls. This makes it forced out by a large number of physical attackers that outspeed it or can survive a Freeze-Dry, such as Stoutland, Arbok, and Metang. Many physical attackers such as Stoutland and Dusknoir can also threaten to Pursuit trap Cryogonal.

**Specially Bulky Pokemon**: Cryogonal's middling power leaves it walled by foes such as Grumpig, Metang, Tank Regice, and Audino, which can cripple Cryogonal with Thunder Wave or Toxic or force it out with Focus Blast or Meteor Mash.

Not QC, E: lol forgot I was added.

You could add a bit more to this:

Overview
Mention its utility in combating Rotom-F, as HP Fighting in tandem with Recover lets it beat SubWisp variants, or Scarf if it hasn't been TrickScarfed yet.

Its ability Levitate, high Special Defense, and ability to Rapid Spin give it plenty of counter-play for offensive or balanced teams that are reliant on Roselia setting hazards (it really only fears switching into Powder Rose).

Usage Tips
Mention how it should use Recover to keep its HP high, so that it can switch into SR again in case it needs to use Rapid Spin or continue to switch into special attackers. You already wrote part of this in moves, but it should go in Usage Tips too probably

Team Options
Switches into Stunfisk with ease and hits it super effectively, while simultaneously being able to remove its SR, which means Zebstrika and other offensive pivots that are stopped by Stunfisk (Ninjask, Purugly, Monferno, Electabuzz, etc.) appreciate Cryogonal as a partner. Cryogonal also supplies Electabuzz and Zebstrika with a useful immunity to Ground-type attacks via Levitate.

Pokemon like Altaria / Stunfisk that are able to beat Monferno, Pawniard, and other physical attackers with Priority (you already mentioned Grumpig + Gabite for compensating for Fire- and Fighting-types, but you could just expand that a little bit)

Cryogonal checks Grass-types like Gourgeist-XL / Tangela / Quilladin and Water-types like Politoed fairly easily, meaning Pokemon who appreciate their absences like CB Floatzel or LO Basculin make for ideal offensive partners. In return, Floatzel easily checks Fire-types that give Cryogonal issues (and Probopass if you're using something different over HP Fight, like Toxic or Knock Off)

You mention Rapidash, but you could again expand on that. Its ability Flash Fire gives you a more dedicated switch-in for Fire-types, while its WoW lets it beat things like Pawniard which bother Cryogonal

OO
Never-Melt Ice for increasing its damage output with Freeze-Dry, but not wearing it down like LO does. Small increase in damage lets it do things like 2HKO Stunfisk and some variants of Roselia and OHKO Fraxure (among other things), whereas Leftovers doesn't allow for this and needs more prior damage before obtaining these KOs

Knock Off's utility should be mentioned with regard to hitting Misdreavus / Grumpig on the switch if you're using it together with Life Orb, removing important items they need to be effective (Colbur in Grumpig's case, Eviolite in Missy's). It also hits Dusknoir and Metang and removes LO or CB / Eviolite again, but not nearly as hard thanks to their high Defense stats

Water Pulse and Hidden Power Ground both let you do substantial damage to Fire-types as they switch in, while both of these coverage options still hit Probopass super effectively

C&C
Mention how easily it's able to be Pursuit-trapped, especially by things like LO Dusknoir (which also spinblocks against it). This could go in Overview as well

This check counts then, Megazard

Wouldn't mention regice as a Cryogonal counter since it hates being toxicd on the switch, is weak to Stealth Rock and uses life orb, and can't ohko it anyway. The others are fine

In overview also mention bad phdef and weakness to rocks, as they are its main flaws

examples of what hp fight hits, particularly breaking frotoms sub. Also in moves imo mention toxic as it helps vs pig/missy/audino/etc

when mentioning spinblockers give a special mention to dusknoir, saying that it should usually double switch to avoid pursuit, also in UT i think you should say that its alright to sack cryo to get a spin off

in oo when you say full sdef I think 252 HP / 252 Speed is the best set for bulky (ik trc has said a lot about it and from experience max speed is really helpful for stall/semistall)

for c&c in physical attackers give a brief mention of pursuit

looks good 1/3 Megazard

In Team Options, you can mention defensive Relicanth as a partner to Cryogonal as it can check Fire-types and can handle Monferno if need be. Also in Other Options, the first two bullet are basically referring to the same spread, so just combine them together.

3/3.

Edit: Consider this 3/3 after you write this up.
