The shadows lengthened, The sun's lower rim touching the hills far to the west. From the North, an illusion of a man appeared. His skin the tinge of sickly green and gray, his hair and clothes the colour of near-royal purple, Itsumo-Spiritomb came forward, wearing the guise of of a man. Behind him, a Zoroark flitted about in the shadows. Such a sight raised the eyebrows of certain onlookers - for there has been a petty but violent argument going on between the two, one whose not even E_D, their Trainer, would begin to unravel, let alone bandy about to strangers. As usual, E_D himself is nowhere to be seen. There are plenty of rumours concerning his behaviour, of course, but until they were verified or discarded, rumours they remain - and it is not my place to speak unfairly and dishonestly about others.Rule of the Night said:4v4 Doubles (Bring 6 Dark Pokémon, Pick 4)

Arena: ASB Standard Arena
From the south, a robed man materialised from the low mist clinging to the arena. His brown hair flowing behind his hair, Lou didn't walk so much as glide forward, his eyes like the starry night that may cloud with rumbling thunderstorms within a mere blink. It is said that those who looked into Lou's eyes and listen to his beguiling speech would soon fall to his thrall, never to awaken until it pleases him. Granted, most of Lou's closer acquaintances have their own protection around him, but nevertheless, those eyes now showed something faintly resembling amusement as he approached the center of the arena with his counterpart.Eternal_Drifter said:Mirage the Zoroark, Seeker of the Drifter

Illusion: Type: Passive
Whenever you send this Pokemon out, it can feign the appearance of another member on your squad. If this Pokemon is damaged by a direct attack, the Illusion will cease at the end of the round. Direct damage is any attack that does damage to the Pokemon's HP. Attacks that are evaded, blocked via Protect, or damage a Substitute are not considered direct damage. It will retain the typing and moveset of the Pokemon with Illusion. [Usage Note: PM the ref if you are sending out a Zorua or Zoroark with the info on Zorua/Zoroark and one of your squad members in a Switch=KO battle. You must use that squad member later in the battle though.]

And what of I? I am merely a journalist and a herald, recording the events that take place tonight. I fear the dark, true, but it is the unknown within that reproaches me, and as duty brings me, so I shall tread the dark. Few others are observing this as well, albeit from a safer distance. But no matter, for tonight, an aristocrat of the darkness shall claim his right.LouisCyphre said:
