Hi, I'm fairly new to Pokemon Showdown. I've been using Pokemon Online for about a year, but wanted to give this a shot since it's Smogon's simulator of choice. A few months ago, I tried it once and made a team and all that and got on fine, but I've been trying to get on again and it continues to say:
You have been disconnected – possibly because the server was restarted.
I click reconnect and each time it just reloads and that message pops up again. I've looked through tons of threads about this same problem for other people, and I can't seem to find the right answer. If I click cancel, it allows me to make a team and all but if I look for a battle, and give myself a name it doesn't allow me to battle. This has been going on for this past week for me, and it works downstairs on another computer in my house. This leads to the question: Is it something with my computer? I've restarted it etc, and I'd just really like to find the solution.
