This battle between Sucrose and Squidward is still going strong! The two Pokemon are using their strengths to their fullest to best one another! I wonder if the battle can get even more exciting?
Sucrose is still safe behind a substitute, so he harnesses electrical energy into a Thunderbolt which crashes into Squidward! Thhe Inkay is definitely worn down by this point, and the fact that he became paralyzed after the attack doesn't help! Luckily, he's able to shake off the paralysis and use Psychic to throw around the Monohm's Substitute, breaking it!
Without a Substitute to protect him, Sucrose goes for the only solution: make another Substitute! He does so, and Squidward is none the wiser as he shoots the doll with a Dark Pulse after staving off some more paralysis. You'd think that by now he'd be able to tell the difference...
Sucrose returns to his routine of shooting Thunderbolts as usual, and another one hits Squidward head on, bringing the Inkay's HP pretty low. Another Psychic attack from Squidward seals the deal for Sucrose's Substitute, breaking it once again. Back to the drawing board, huh?

okay, so, here, i'm going to say this is infeasible. psychic involves using mental power to lift and throw objects and pokemon, whereas dark pulse is more of a projectile that you would shoot at another pokemon. trying to combine those two kinds of attack into one would be terribly inefficient. in the case of different-move combos, if the ref deems them infeasible (like i just did), they're treated as separate orders, so your order string would be psychic ~ dark pulse ~ psychic.

Riza starts this round off by Protecting herself from incoming damage! The barrier effortlessly blocks the Hydro Pump that Sucrose fires, and the water harmlessly splashes around the arena. No damage on either side, but both Pokemon expend some energy. Sometimes you just need to warm up with a little bit of ultra high-pressure water blasts!
