Overview
########

Donphan's good Attack and Defense stats make it a nice bulky attacker as well as decent physical tank. It also has access to the coveted Rapid Spin, which makes it the only Rapid Spin user immune to Electric-type attacks. Its typing gives it a nice Electric-type immunity as well as resistances to Poison and Rock but weaknesses to Ice, Water, and Grass, which are common attacking types.

Defensive Spinner
########
name: Defensive Spinner
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Rapid Spin
move 3: Stealth Rock
move 4: Knock Off / Toxic / Roar
ability: Sturdy
item: Leftovers
evs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
nature: Impish

Moves
========

Earthquake is the most reliable STAB attack for any physically offensive Ground-type and provides a whopping 100 Base Power and consistent damage output. Rapid Spin allows Donphan to remove entry hazards on it's side of the field. Stealth Rock allows Donphan to set up its own entry hazards and wear down opposing Pokemon each time they switch in. The last slot can be used for one of three possible moves. The first is Knock Off, as it allows Donphan to cripple the opposing Pokemon by removing its item. The second is Toxic, as it allows Donphan to cripple any defensive switch-in that isn't immune to Poison-type moves. The last is Roar, which allows Donphan to phaze and gives it a way to make sure it isn't setup fodder.

Set Details
========

Maximum Defense and HP EVs with an Impish nature allow Donphan to have as much physical bulk as it can muster, and Sturdy allows for Donphan to survive any one hit and either retaliate with Earthquake or Knock Off, cripple it with Toxic, set up hazards with Stealth Rock, or remove entry hazards with Rapid Spin. Leftovers is the item of the set as it gives Donphan passive recovery.

Usage Tips
========

Send Donphan in against Pokemon that it can check to an extent, such as Toxicroak, Mega Aerodactyl, and Mega Beedrill. This set's main purpose is to remove entry hazards while being a nice defensive presence, so use it to remove hazards whenever it is in a fairly decent matchup against the opposing Pokemon. If Donphan's Sturdy is needed to check a threat on the opposing team, try to make sure it is intact for as long as possible until it isn't needed anymore. Donphan, despite its good Defense stat, must be wary when switching into hard-hitting physical attackers such as Heracross and Darmanitan.

Team Options
========

Donphan lacks a form of solid recovery besides Rest, so it appreciates Wish-passing partners that can act as special walls, such as Blissey and Florges. Bulky Water-types such as Suicune and Vaporeon make for good partners, as they can tank Water- and Ice-type attacks aimed at Donphan; however, they do share a Grass-type weakness, so be sure to pack a Pokemon that resists Grass when pairing Donphan with a bulky Water-type. Crobat has excellent synergy with Donphan, as Donphan can tank Electric- and Rock-type attacks aimed at Crobat and Crobat has a 4x resistance to Grass and can take hard-hitting Fighting-type attacks aimed at Donphan, such as Machamp's Close Combat. Grass-types such as Roserade and Chesnaught make for good teammates for Donphan as well, as they resist Water-type and Grass-type moves aimed at Donphan. Pokemon that have a weakness to Stealth Rock, such as Darmanitan and Beedrill, would also appreciate being on the same team as Donphan, as it can remove entry hazards for them.

Choice Band
########
name: Choice Band
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Ice Shard
move 3: Knock Off / Gunk Shot
move 4: Gunk Shot / Seed Bomb
ability: Sturdy
item: Choice Band
evs: 52 HP / 252 Atk / 204 Spe
nature: Adamant

Moves
========

Earthquake is Donphan's most reliable STAB attack and hits incredibly hard with Choice Band. Ice Shard is Donphan's only form of priority and provides pretty good coverage. Knock Off allows Donphan to cripple switch-ins as well as hit Pokemon such as Bronzong and Cresselia super effectively. Gunk Shot gives Donphan a stronger super effective move against Grass-types, punishing the majority that switch in as well as allowing it to OHKO Florges and Aromatisse. Seed Bomb gets a mention on the last slot, as it allows Donphan to OHKO Swampert and get crucial 2HKOs on bulky Water-types such as Suicune and Alomomola after Stealth Rock.

Set Details
========

204 Speed EVs allow Donphan to outspeed everything up to uninvested base 75 Speed Pokemon such as Florges. Choice Band gives Donphan the Attack boost necessary for it to support its teammates by breaking through walls it such as Suicune, Alomomola, and Chesnaught. Sturdy is the ability of choice because it lets Donphan survive a hit from full health and because Sand Veil is extremely luck-based and should not be used. An alternative EV spread of 132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Spe can be used to give Donphan more bulk while still outspeeding base 65 Speed Pokemon such as Vaporeon and Umbreon.

Usage Tips
========

Send Donphan in on anything it would normally wall to an extent, such as Toxicroak. Look at what the opponent would switch into, and attack accordingly. You can also send Donphan in on walls it can deal with, such as Florges, and take them out of the picture. Try to ensure Sturdy is kept intact as much as possible through Wish support, as Sturdy is needed to let Donphan survive hits from sweepers that have already set up. It also helps Donphan deal with Grass-types such as Roserade and Shaymin, as Donphan can survive a hit and either KO or hit hard enough so that a teammate can revenge kill them.

Team Options
=========

Sweepers that appreciate the removal or weakening of walls that Donphan can lure in make for good partners, so consider using Lucario, Dragon Dance Haxorus, or Swords Dance Mega Absol. Wish passers and clerics such as Florges and Vaporeon make for good partners as well since they can remove status from Donphan and heal it back with Wish. Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Mega Ampharos and Hydreigon make for good partners as they can safely bring Donphan in. Grass-types such as Roserade and Mega Sceptile can beat bulky Water-types, Donphan's best checks, so they are good teammates. Dark-types such as Krookodile and Mega Sharpedo also are good partners for Donphan as they help beat its hardest counter, Cresselia.

Offensive Spinner
########
name: Offensive Spinner
move 1: Rapid Spin
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Knock Off
move 4: Ice Shard / Stealth Rock
ability: Sturdy
item: Assault Vest / Leftovers
evs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe
nature: Adamant

Moves
========

Rapid Spin allows for entry hazard removal. Earthquake is an obligatory STAB attack that deals consistent damage. Knock Off is a nice move with the ability to remove the foe's item. Ice Shard allows Donphan to have some sort of priority but is very weak, so don't rely on it to KO the opposing Pokemon unless the opposing Pokemon is either very frail or weak to Ice. Stealth Rock lets Donphan set up its own entry hazard but should not be used should you choose to run Assault Vest, as it makes Donphan incapable of using this move.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack investment and an Adamant nature allow Donphan to hit as hard as possible. 84 Speed EVs allow Donphan to outspeed neutral-natured base 60 Speed Pokemon and anything slower. The remaining 172 EVs are put into HP to give Donphan as much bulk as possible. Leftovers gives Donphan a form of recovery and allows Donphan to use support moves, whereas Assault Vest gives Donphan more special bulk, allowing it to check some special threats such as Mega Ampharos and Rotom-H variants lacking Will-O-Wisp.

Usage Tips
========

This Donphan set should be sent in on anything that it can check well, especially Choice-locked Electric-types such as Choice Scarf Rotom-H. Try to ensure Donphan is as healthy as possible at all times should you have teammates that require entry hazard removal. Donphan can take out most, if not all, Rapid Spin blockers with Earthquake, Knock Off, Ice Shard, or even a combination of the three, so correct predictions are key to Donphan doing its job successfully.

Team Options
========

Donphan appreciates Wish and cleric support, so Florges and Vaporeon make for good partners. In general, Pokemon that appreciate Donphan's ability to remove entry hazards, particularly Stealth Rock, make for good partners, although Fire-types and Flying-types get special mentions. Fire-types such as Rotom-H and Entei don't have access to reliable recovery and can threaten Grass-types, which would otherwise scare Donphan out. Flying-types are also able to deal with a majority of Grass-types and have having good synergy with Donphan; Mega Aerodactyl and Crobat fit this category nicely.

Other Options
########

Stone Edge and Poison Jab are options but are generally less useful than the listed moves. Stone Edge only really allows for a clean OHKO on Crobat, and Poison Jab, being much weaker than Gunk Shot, misses out on crucial OHKOs and 2HKOs such as the 2HKO on Chesnaught. Sleep Talk is also an option but is generally a waste of a moveslot. Head Smash can be used to get an extremely hard hit off on a foe but its recoil as well as the superior coverage given by the other options outweigh the usefulness of the move. A Rock Polish set can be used, but Donphan is far too slow to utilize it well. Ice Shard is an option on the defensive spinner set but tends to be far too weak to be of much use. Counter is another option on the defensive spinner set but tends to only get one use, which makes it a waste of a moveslot most of the time.

Checks & Counters
########

**Water- and Grass-types**: All Water- and Grass-types counter Donphan's defensive spinner set and check the Choice Band variant.

**Ice-Types**: Ice-types only check Donphan, as they have to be wary of the rare Stone Edge. Also, most Ice-types lack significant bulk, so they can be KOed by a neutral hit.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Froslass can prevent defensive Donphan from setting up Stealth Rock and phazing them.

**Bulky Setup Sweepers**: Bulky setup sweepers such as Bulk Up Krookodile, CroCune, Swords Dance Mega Abomasnow and Curse Snorlax can all set up on both defensive and offensive spinner sets as well as set up on Choice Band Donphan, depending on the move Donphan locks itself into.

Knock Off should be the primary third move for the offensive spinner set over Ice Shard, it provides priority sure but is overall simply too weak to do any real damage to even super effective targets while Knock Off does solid damage and cripples anything switching in. Ice Shard can be slashed with Stealth Rock for the fourth slot as a secondary option. Also I think it should be removed completely from the defensive set, stick Toxic over there as the second slash. I know you've mentioned it in other options but Toxic has real utility on defensive Donphan who makes up for the lack of offensive capability by being able to cripple bulky waters and other walls that commonly switch into it. Looks good otherwise! QC 1/3

Just input all the above, thanks!

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I actually meant remove Ice Shard completely from the defensive set and retain Knock Off in the fourth slot. So the slot should look like this - Knock Off / Toxic / Roar. Mention Ice Shard in set details, it doesn't really warrant a slash IMO as it is far too weak for a defensive set to cause any real damage.

Defensive Spinner
  • Ice Shard should be mentioned under moves, not set details (this does not mean slash it)
  • For team options, I would mention how Crobat has great defensive synergy and can take care of Grass-types that harm Donphan. This also helps against Machamp and Mienshao a lot
  • Also you mention Pokemon that can take Water-type attacks, so maybe mention Grass-types such as Roserade / Shaymin / Celebi
  • In usage tips you say to get up Stealth Rock as quick as possible. This isn't always true, mainly if the opponent has a Defogger or spinner that can beat Donphan as then you'll have neither Stealth Rock nor Donphan
  • You say it can't continually take Flare Blitz from Darmanitan, but you mention bulky Water-types as partners, and those can. You should probably mention that
Choice Band
  • I'll take your word for it, but 204 just seems like a LOT of Speed to run on Donphan
  • For usage tips I would say to try to bring it in off of a U-turn, Volt Switch, fainted teammate, or resisted attack
  • You say you can lure and KO Cresselia, but Knock Off (the only move that will significantly damage it) does a maximum of 55% when knocking off an item. Not to say that isn't a lot of damage, but after that it takes a maximum of 37%
  • You should clarify under Usage Tips that in order to beat Celebi and Shaymin you must hit them on the switch or they'll outspeed and KO Donphan
  • In team options recommend U-turn and Volt Switch users to bring Donphan in safely. Also, whatever Pokemon beat Donphan, mention teammates that will beat those Pokemon
Offensive Spinner
  • Please don't mention Jellicent as a Donphan switch-in. People will think it's good. On another note, mention how Knock Off does nail Ghost-types that can block the spin
  • Mention to not use Stealth Rock if running Assault Vest lol
  • Bring in off of a U-turn, Volt Switch, or an Electric-type attack
  • In set details mention why you would run either Leftovers or Assault Vest
  • Mention Entei, Beedrill, Crobat, and Pidgeot as Pokemon that like having Stealth Rock removed
  • Mention Grass and Electric-types as checks to Water-types

I just input most, if not all of the changes, thanks for the input. I also listed a bulkier spread for the Choice Band set in set details.

I'd mention bulky setup sweepers instead of Bulk Up users. Stuff like Suicune, Hone Claws Mega Aero (against EQ / Knock Off versions), Curse Lax, Sword Dance Mega Aboma and CM Reuniclus, can setup on defensive Donphan and they are much better than Scrafty. BU Krook is fine tho.

Overview
########

Dumbo the Elephant has graced his mighty presence to the UU tier once again after dropping down to UU in XY. Dumbo's good Defense and Attack stats make him a nice bulky attacker as well as decent physical tank. DumboIt also has access to the coveted Rapid Spin which makes him the only rRapid sSpinner users with immunity to Electric-type attacks. Dumbo'Its typing is a double-edged sword as it gives a nice Electric-type immunity as well as Rock-type and Poison-type resistances but bolstering weaknesses to common types such as Ice-type, Water-type,(AC) and Grass-type. Albeit Dumbo's good Attack and Defense stats, it's mediocre Special As, which are common attack, Speed, and Special Defense make it less pleasing to look at in the teambuildering types.

Defensive Spinner
########
name: Defensive Spinner
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Rapid Spin
move 3: Stealth Rock
move 4: Knock Off(Add a space after Knock Off) / Toxic / Roar
ability: Sturdy
item: Leftovers
evs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
nature: Impish

Moves
========

Earthquake is the first move on the set as it is the most consistent STAB attack for any physically offensive Ground-type and provides a whopping 100 bBase pPower and consistent damage output. Rapid Spin is the main move of this set however,(AC) as it allows Donphan to remove any entry hazards on the user's side of the match. Stealth Rock is oin the third moveslot of this set as it allows Donphan to set up its own hazards and wears down any opposing Pokemon that switch in while it's still in play. The last slot can be used for one of three possible moves. The first being Knock Off as it allows Donphan to cripple the opposing Pokemon by removing its item. The second being Toxic as it allows Donphan to cripple any defensive switch-in that isn't immune to Poison-type moves. The last but not least is Roar which allows Donphan to phaze out any Pokemon that doesn't have Magic Bounce or Magic Coat and it gives Donphanit a way to make sure it isn't set up fodder.

Set Details
========

Max Defense and HP EVs with an Impish nature allow Donphan to have as much physical bulk as it can muster and Sturdy allows for Donphan to live any one- hit(no hyphen) and either retaliate with Earthquake or Knock Off, cripple it with Toxic, set up hazards with Stealth Rock,(AC) or remove hazards with Rapid Spin.

Usage Tips
========

Send Donphan in against Pokemon that attack its physical defense that it can check to an extent,(AC) such as Toxicroak, Mega Aerodactyl,(AC) and Mega Beedrill. This set's main purpose is to remove hazards while being a nice defensive presence so use it to remove hazards whenever given a fairly decent match-up against the opposing Pokemon. If Donphan's SturdyDefense is needed to check a threat on the opposing team, try to make sure it is intact for as long as possible until it isn't needed anymore. Donphan can't switch into UU's hard hitting STAB physical hitters albe,(AC) despite its good Defense stat so,(AC) must be wary when switching it into hard-hitting physical attacks, such as Heracross, and Darmanitan, etcetra.

Team Options
========

Donphan lacks a form or status removal as well as a form of solid recovery that isn't named,(AC) besides Rest and,(AC) so it appreciates Wish passing(I assume that's the connection between Donphan and these two Pokemon.) partners that can act as special walls so Blissey and Florges make good partners. Bulky Water-types such as Suicune and Vaporeon make good partners as they can tank Water-type and Ice-type attacks aimed at Donphan,(AC) although they do share a Grass-type weakness so be sure to pack Grass-type resists when pairing Donphan with a bulky Water-type. Crobat has excellent synergy with Donphan as Donphan can tank Electric-type and Rock-type attacks aimed at Crobat and Crobat can take hard-hitting Fighting-type attacks aimed at Donphan such as Machamp's Close Combat as well as having a quad4x resistance against Grass-type attacks. Grass-types such as Serperior and Chesnaught make good teammates for Donphan as well since they resist Water-type and Grass-type moves aimed at Donphan. Pokemon that have a weakness to Stealth Rock such as Darmanitan and Beedrill would also appreciate to be on the same team as Donphan.

Dumbo The ElephantChoice Band
########
name: Dumbo The ElephantChoice Band
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Ice Shard
move 3: Knock Off / Gunk Shot
move 4: Gunk Shot / Seed Bomb
ability: Sturdy
item: Choice Band
evs: 52 HP / 252 Atk / 204 Spe
nature: Adamant

Moves
========

Earthquake is the first move on the set as it's Dumbonphan's go-tomost reliable STAB attack since it hits like a truckso hard with Choice Band. Ice Shard gets usage on this set as Dumbois Donphan's only form of priority as well as givingnd gets pretty good coverage. Knock Off faces not so fierce competition from Gunk Shot on the third slot as it allows Dumbonphan to cripple any switch-in as well as giving Dumboit super-effective coverage against the likes of Bronzong and Cresselia among others. Gunk Shot gets a mention on both third and last slots as it gives Dumbonphan a stronger super- effective(no hyphen) move against Grass-types, punishing the majority that would switch into Dumbo as well as allowing Dumboit to OHKO the likes of Florges and Aromatisse. Seed Bomb gets a mention on the last slot as it allows Dumbonhpan to get crucial 2HKO's on Suicune and Alomomola after Stealth Rock as well as being able to OHKO Swampert.

Set Details
========

204 Speed EVs allow Dumbonphan to outspeed everything up to 0 Speunivested base 75s such as Florges. Max Attack gives Dumbo maximum attack output and the rest of the EVs are put into HP for some bulk Speed Pokemon such as Florges. Choice Band gives Dumboit the Attack boost necessary for it to break through the walls it needs to for it's teammates to capitalize.(i suggest providing an example of something the Choice Band helps KO.) Sturdy is the ability of choice because it helps Donphans's survivability and because Sand Veil is extremely luck reliant and should not be used. An alternative EV spread of 132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Spe can be used to give Dumbo more bulk while still outspeeding base 65s Speed Pokemon such as Vaporeon and Umbreon.

Usage Tips
========

Send Dumbonphan in on anything it would normally wall to an extent such as Toxicroak and try to predic. Look at what the opponent would switch into Dumbo, and predictattack accordingly. You can also send Dumbonphan in on walls it can deal with such as Florges and take it out of the picture. Try to ensure Dumbo's Sturdy is kept intact as much as possible through Wish support and such,(AC) as Sturdy is needed for Dumbo to lto survive hits from sweepers that have already set up or. It also helps with Grass-types such as Serperior and Shaymin so that Dumbonphan can either OHKO back or hit the opposing Pokemon hard enough to whereso that something else can revenge kill it.

Team Options
=========

Sweepers that appreciate the removal or weakening of walls that Dumbonphan can lure in such as Swords Dance/Nasty Plotmake good partners, so consider using Lucario, Dragon Dance Haxorus,(AC) and Swords Dance Mega Absol make good partners. Wish passers and clerics such as Florges and Vaporeon make good partners as well since they can remove any status onfrom Dumbonphan and heal it back with Wish. Volt-T Switch and U-turn users such as Mega Ampharos and Hydreigon make good partners as they can safely bring in Dumbo with Volt Switch and U-turn respectivelyDonphan in. Grass-types such as Serperior and Mega Sceptile make good partners as they beat Dumbo's best checks in bulky Water-types,(AC) Donphan's best checks. Dark-types such as Krookodile and Mega Sharpedo also make good partners to Dumbo as they help beat its hardest counter in,(AC) Cresselia.

Offensive Spinner
########
name: Offensive Spinner
move 1: Rapid Spin
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Knock Off
move 4: Ice Shard / Stealth Rock
ability: Sturdy
item: Assault Vest / Leftovers
evs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe
nature: Adamant

Moves
========

Rapid Spin is the main move of this set as it allows for hazard removal. Earthquake is obligatory STAB whichattack that allows for consistent damage. Knock Off is a nice move for the ability to remove the item of any Pokemon that doesn't have Sticky Hold and isn't a mega's item. Ice Shard allows Donphan to have some sort of priority but is very weak so shouldn't be relied on to KO the opposing Pokemon unless the opposing Pokemon is either really weak or has a weakness to Ice-type and is fairly weakened. Stealth Rock allows for a form of entry hazard setting but should not be used if you choose to have Assault Vest as Donphan's held item as Assault Vest renders Stealth Rock useless.

Set Details
========

Max Attack EVsinvestment allow fors Donphan to hit as hard as possible with an Adamant nature to back that up. 84 Speed EVs allow Donphan to outspeed neutral base 60s Speed Pokemon and everanything slower. The remaining 172 EVs are put into HP to give as much bulk as possible. Leftovers gives Donphan a form of recovery as well asnd allowings Donphan to use support moves whereas Assault Vest gives Donphan more special bulk, allowing it to check some special threats such as Mega Ampharos and Rotom Heat-H variants lacking Will-O-Wisp.

Usage Tips
========

This Donphan set should be sent in on anything that it can check well, especially cChoice locked Electric-types such as Choice Scarf Rotom-H. Try to ensure Donphan is as healthy as possible at all times should you have teammates that require the removal of hazards. Donphan can take out most, if not all, sRapid Spin blockers with one of Earthquake, Knock Off, Ice Shard,(AC) or even a combination of the three so correct predictions are key to Donphan doing it's job successfully.

Team Options
========

Donphan, as always, appreciates Wish and cleric support so Florges and Vaporeon make good partners. Pokemon that appreciate the removal of hazards, particularly Stealth Rock, make good partners most of the time but,(AC) although Fire-types and Flying-types get special mentions. The former for appreciating the removal of Stealth Rock more than the latter since Fire-types generallyFire-types,(AC) such as Rotom-H and Entei,(AC) don't get solidhave access to reliable recovery bar Rest and can threaten out Grass-types that would otherwise scare Donphan out, such examples of Fire-types are Rotom-Heat and Entei. The latter also appreciates Stealth Rock removal but the majority of Flying-types have access to a solid recovery move in Roost therefore not being too dented by Stealth Rocks. Flying-types are also able to deal with a majority of the Grass-types as well as having bettergood synergy with Donphan,(RC);(semicolon) Mega Aerodactyl and Crobat fit this category nicely.

Other Options
########

Stone Edge and Poison Jab are options for Dumbo but are generally less useful than the aforementioned moves in the set itself as. Stone Edge only really allows for a clean OHKO on Crobat and Poison Jab,(AC) being much weaker than Gunk Shot thus,(AC) missinges out on some crucial OHKO's and 2HKO's(no apostrophes) such as the 2HKO on Chesnaught. Sleep Talk is also an option on Dumbo but is generally a waste of a moveslot on the set. Head Smash can be used to give an extremely hard hit off on something but the recoil as well as the superior coverage given by the other options outweighs the usefulness of the move. A Rock Polish set can be used but Donphan is far too slow to utilize it well. Ice Shard is an option on the Ddefensive Sspinner set but tends to be far too weak to be of much use. Counter is another option on the Ddefensive Sspinner set but tends to only get one time use which makes it a waste of a moveslot most of the time.

Checks & Counters
########

**Water- and Grass-Types**: All Water- and/or Grass-types counter Donphan's Ddefensive spinner set whereas they onlyand check the Choice Band variant.

**Ice-Types**: Ice-types only check both variants as they have to be wary of the rare Stone Edge as well as the only few viable. Also, most Ice-types not having much bulklack significant bulk, so they can be KOed by a neutral hit.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Froslass can prevent Ddefensive Donphan from setting up Stealth Rocks and/or phazing it out.

**Bulky Set Uup Sweepers**: Bulky set up sweepers such as Bulk Up Krookodile, CroCune, Swords Dance Mega- Abomasnow(no hyphen) and Curse Snorlax can all set up on both defensive and offensive spinner Donphan sets as well as being able to set up on Choice Band Donphan,(AC) depending on the move Donphan locks itself into.

Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

========

Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

=========

Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

========

Donphan, as always, (no cross-set referencing; you can't know for sure that the reader read the previous sets) appreciates Wish and cleric support, (comma) so Florges and Vaporeon make for good partners. You can also send Donphan in on walls it can deal with, (comma) such as Florges, (comma) and take it them (because we're talking about 'walls it can deal with' - plural, not Florges - singular) out of the picture. Try to ensure Sturdy is kept intact as much as possible through Wish support, as Sturdy is needed to let Donphan survive hits from sweepers that have already set up. It also helps Donphan deal with Grass-types such as Roserade and Shaymin, as Donphan can survive a hit and that Donphan can either KO or hit hard enough so that a teammate something else can revenge kill it them.

Team Options
=========

Sweepers that appreciate the removal or weakening of walls that Donphan can lure in make for good partners, so consider using Lucario, Dragon Dance Haxorus, and or Swords Dance Mega Absol. Wish passers and clerics such as Florges and Vaporeon make for good partners as well, as since they can remove status from Donphan and heal it back with Wish. Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Mega Ampharos and Hydreigon make for good partners, (comma) as they can safely bring Donphan in. Grass-types such as Roserade and Mega Sceptile make good partners as they can beat bulky Water-types, Donphan's best checks, so they are good teammates (changed this because sentence structure of 'x such as y make for good partners because they can z' was getting repetitive). Dark-types such as Krookodile and Mega Sharpedo also are make good partners for Donphan, as they help beat its hardest counter, Cresselia.

Offensive Spinner
########
name: Offensive Spinner
move 1: Rapid Spin
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Knock Off
move 4: Ice Shard / Stealth Rock
ability: Sturdy
item: Assault Vest / Leftovers
evs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe
nature: Adamant

Moves
========

Rapid Spin is the main move of this set as it allows for entry hazard removal. Earthquake is an obligatory STAB attack that deals allows for consistent damage. Knock Off is a nice move with for the ability to remove the Pokemon's foe's item. Ice Shard allows Donphan to have some sort of priority but is very weak, (comma) so don't rely on it shouldn't be relied on (passive) to KO the opposing Pokemon unless the opposing Pokemon is either very frail really weak or has a weakness to Ice-type. Stealth Rock lets Donphan set up its own allows for a form of entry hazard setting but should not be used if you choose to have run Assault Vest, (comma) as it makes Donphan incapable of using the move Stealth Rock useless.

Set Details
========

Maximum (avoid abbreviations) Attack investment and an Adamant nature allow Donphan to hit as hard as possible with an Adamant nature to back that up. 84 Speed EVs allow Donphan to outspeed neutral-natured base 60 Speed Pokemon and anything slower. The remaining 172 EVs are put into HP to give Donphan as much bulk as possible. Leftovers gives Donphan a form of recovery and allows Donphan to use support moves, (comma) whereas Assault Vest gives Donphan more special bulk, allowing it to check some special threats such as Mega Ampharos and Rotom-H variants lacking Will-O-Wisp.

Usage Tips
========

This Donphan set should be sent in on anything that it can check well, especially Choice-locked Electric-types such as Choice Scarf Rotom-H. Try to ensure Donphan is as healthy as possible at all times should you have teammates that require the entry hazard removal of hazards (passive). Donphan can take out most, if not all, Rapid Spin blockers with Earthquake, Knock Off, Ice Shard, or even a combination of the three, (comma) so correct predictions are key to Donphan doing it's its (it's means it is. 'key to Donphan doing it is job succesfully'...that's not right) job successfully.

Team Options
========

Donphan, as always, (no cross-set referencing; you can't know for sure that the reader read the previous sets) appreciates Wish and cleric support, (comma) so Florges and Vaporeon make for good partners. In general, Pokemon that appreciate Donphan's ability to remove entry the removal of hazards, particularly Stealth Rock, make for good partners most of the time, although Fire-types and Flying-types get special mentions. Fire-types, (remove comma) such as Rotom-H and Entei, (remove comma) don't have access to reliable recovery and can threaten out (either 'threaten' or 'force out') Grass-types, which that would otherwise scare Donphan out. Flying-types are also able to deal with a majority of the Grass-types and have as well as having good synergy with Donphan; Mega Aerodactyl and Crobat fit this category nicely.

Other Options
########

Stone Edge and Poison Jab are options but are generally less useful than the listed aforementioned moves in the set itself. Stone Edge only really allows for a clean OHKO on Crobat, (comma) and Poison Jab, being much weaker than Gunk Shot, misses out on crucial OHKOs and 2HKOs such as the 2HKO on Chesnaught. Sleep Talk is also an option but is generally a waste of a moveslot on the set. Head Smash can be used to give get an extremely hard hit off on something a foe, but the its recoil as well as the superior coverage given by the other options outweigh the usefulness of the move. A Rock Polish set can be used, (comma) but Donphan is far too slow to utilize it well. Ice Shard is an option on the defensive spinner set but tends to be far too weak to be of much use. Counter is another option on the defensive spinner set but tends to only get one time use, (comma) which makes it a waste of a moveslot most of the time.

Checks & Counters
########

**Water- and Grass-types**: All Water- and Grass-types counter Donphan's defensive spinner set and check the Choice Band variant.

**Ice-Types**: Ice-types only check both variants, (comma) as they have to be wary of the rare Stone Edge. Also, most Ice-types lack significant bulk, (comma) so they can be KOed by a neutral hit.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Froslass can prevent defensive Donphan from setting up Stealth Rock and phazing them it out.

**Bulky Setup Sweepers**: Bulky setup sweepers such as Bulk Up Krookodile, CroCune, Swords Dance Mega Abomasnow, (comma) and Curse Snorlax can all set up on both defensive and offensive spinner Donphan sets as well as set up on Choice Band Donphan, depending on the move Donphan locks itself into.
Implemented the changes, this is finally ready for upload :D
