Serious Doomsday... what is it? Real...? Your beliefs!

Doomsday; a day which people fear about... but is it really to be feared about? ...Do people even know about it? What are your thoughts... your opinions... your beliefs?

My thoughts: Really, I think it's real, Doomsday, the last day you'll live. What'd be a good movie that's showing / telling about Doomsday? 2012?

But what will happen? Obviously... disasters? Maybe the movie is a good example. Though we still may not be able to predict when will it be Doomsday. Nonetheless, floods, earthquakes, tornados, typhoons... but since there already is: global warming, continous places being attacked by disasters (i.e tornados, typhoons [Philippenes' Typhoon 2013], earthquakes [more frequent where I live])... so is Doomsday, by any chance... near?

That question shall remain; though debates and discussions are only what we can do. We can never tell the truth, for what's expected from a normal human.

What are your thoughts? Is Doomsday real? Fictional thing? ...Is it near?

Every generation has thought that the Book of Revelations alone was aimed at them, not to mention every other "source", so I'm going to play the, "we won't know, stop asking" card.

tbh, everyone thinks it's a myth, or many people think it's a myth.
Not to mention no reason to say it's true, I mean people years and years ago may have thought about it, but then it didn't happen till even now.

The time since people lived on earth is been more than 5000 years. We can't say anything. That's true.

More than a myth it's just that the Book of Revelations most likely talks about the Roman Empire and not the 'distant future'
