Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Dragalge: Hydro Pump - Scald - Hydro Pump
IF Endure AND Stratagem does not have a substitute THEN Toxic [ONCE]
IF damaging ground typed combination THEN Protect
IF successful protective/evasive action THEN Toxic Spikes [ONCE]
"To start off this round, the challenger put up a Sandstorm! Argh!
I can't see anything!"
"Don't worry, I've got it ~♫ The poison dragon kelp thing uses Hydro Pump, dealing lots of damage. Johnny
decides that he's had enough, and puts up a Substitute to absorb all this water. Good thing, too, because
Contagion used Scald, almost breaking the substitute, but not quite. Realizing this, and wanting to keep his
substitute, Johnny Disabled Contagion's Hydro Pump, which then failed. Johnny's on the brink of fainting,
while Contagion's quite healthy. If nothing else, we're about to see whether Pokémon remaining is more
important than health remaining."
Stratagem used Sandstorm!
A sandstorm brewed!
-9EN
You look to have deducted 2 more HP than necessary from Dragalge, 2 lots of Life Orb recoil + 3 lots of Sandstorm should have a 90 HP Dragalge by my count.
Whoops. I was almost done with orders yesterday, but that was right before I realized I had homework to finish.
Also, I'm pretty sure you've got me on this one, so GG m8, but the match is still on.
Earth Power | Earth Power | Weather Ball
IF Dragalge is to use a Protective/Evasive move, THEN Stealth Rock the first time and Sandstorm the second time, pushing back each time. Do not activate this substitution on consecutive actions.
"Stary? I think you made a mistake last round. There's no Life Orb recoil when attacking
a Substitute."
"Huh? Oh, you're right. In that case, I'll just give 2HP back to Contagion at the start of this
round, and if either combatant really thinks it matters for some reason they can have a
reorder, I guess."
"Okay ~♫ Well, anyways, Johnny smacked Contagion with two Earth Powers
before going down, dealing quite a bit of damage ~♫ The sandstorm helped
with that too."
Stratagem used Earth Power!

Dragalge: Sludge Wave - Sludge Wave - Sludge Wave
IF Sludge Wave is disabled THEN commence string Sludge Bomb - Venoshock - Sludge Bomb
IF you are tormented THEN commence string Sludge Bomb - Venoshock - Sludge Bomb
IF damaging Psychic typed combination THEN Protect
Note for you Stary: Rock resists Poison, has no actual effect on the previous round, but it should be mentioned.
"Hmmph, this is not even close to ideal for me. Let's try something rash here." Mega Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Hypnosis | Dream Eater | Psyshock
IF Dragalge is asleep A3, THEN Dream Eater
IF Dragalge is awake A2, THEN Hypnosis and push back
"Not a double KO! Oh, how not exciting! So, this round actually started with Daisy Hypnotizing Contagion, who spent the first round snoozing! Then Daisy
used Dream Eater, which woke Contagion up, who retaliated with a Sludge
Wave. Then Daisy used Psyshock and then Contagion fainted."
"... Pretend I have something interesting to say ..."
Stary02939 did you already forget that I traced Adaptability going into this one?
Dream Eater should deal 3 more DMG and drain 1.5 more HP
Psyshock should deal 3 more DMG
This means that by the time Garde is finished on A3, Dragalge will have taken [2 + 26.25 + 2 + 2 + 23.25] = 55.5 DMG, which would kill it.
Garde will have [40 - 2 + 13.125 - 30 - 2 - 2] = 17.125 HP => 17 HP
Gardevoir also never gets poisoned since that was the A3 Sludge Wave that did it would not happen.
"Thanks a lot RNGesus, you really came through this time." Mega Gardevoir OUT

"Okay then, I think this is our best shot. Odds might be in our favour but its far from certain. Well played to you my friend, regardless of the outcome."
Haxorus: Shadow Claw - Iron Tail - Poison Jab

IF successful protective/evasive action THEN Chill
"This has been a fun match. Well played, no matter what the result, and I thank you for the good time." Mega Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Teleport (Evasive) + Hyper Beam | Cooldown (Hyper Voice) | Hyper Voice
IF Teleport (Evasive) + Hyper Beam is deemed unfeasible, THEN Endure A1
Stary02939 since your LoA said tag you, and I want this done.
"To start this round off, jayy decides that he has no reason to trace Unnerve or
Mold Breaker vs a mon that has neither a berry nor an ability that affects attacks."
"That wasn't necessary, Eris. Anyways, when I think about combos involving Teleport, I'm thinking
moves that involve vanishing into the air or vanishing into shadows, so Teleport + Hyper Beam is
infeasible. So this match comes down to whether or not deadfox081's Cleaver can roll poison."
The roll, from random.org: 5496
Gardevoir used Endure!

Cleaver used Poison Jab + Poison Jab!
Does anyone care if it crits? : 57 YES

Gardevoir is damaged by poison!
Gardevoir fainted!
"And the RNG that cursed jayy with an Icy Wind miss curses him again,
rolling the poison that seals this match! And to add insult to injury, it also
gives deadfox081 a totally unnecessary crit."
deadfox081 and jayelt413 I have flipped a lopsided coin for you, but now it's past midnight and I have to go to school tomorrow, so I'm going to bed now and will post prizes tomorrow later today.
