Drapion (QC 0/2)

[Overview]

Poison-types overlooked almost completely in VGC
Drapion is no where near useless
Crunch smashes Cresselia and TR setters, Poison Jab destroys Ludicolo and Virizon to name a few
Weak to only Ground
Acceptable Base 90 Atk and 95 Spe
Very good base 110 Defense

[SET]
name: Physical Attacker
move 1: Crunch
move 2: Poison Jab
move 3: Rock Slide
move 4: Protect
item: Shuca Berry
ability: Battle Armor
nature: Adamant
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Hits as hard as it can while still having good speed
Crunch is great this year
Hammers common Psychics (Cress, Lati@s, Reuniclus, etc.)
Poison Jab is cool move
Shallow coverage but STAB and 30% chance for poison is p cool
KOs Ludicolo and almost KOs Virizon
Rock Slide hits the pesky Zapdos and Thundurus
Spread moves are great too
Protect is Protect
Shields from attacks

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

Adamant ties with other neutral base 95s (Arcanine, Darmanitan)
Battle Armor is best because crits are lame and win noobs games
Jolly can be used to get the drop on neural base 101s and below (Landorus, Zapdos, Salamence, Hydreigon, and Haxorus to make a few)
Jolly also outspeeds max speed Porygon-Z and Lucario
Dark Gem
Lets gives it a 93% chance to KO Cresselia with a HH boost (swag)
Earthquake
hits ally and is weak due to low attack, none STAB, and spread
Mamoswine, Starmie, Hitmontop, Cress, and Helping Hand users make great teammates
Mamo uses Ice-moves to check Ground-types
Starmie can use Hydro Pump / Ice Beam
Top has Intimidate, Fake Out, Helping Hand, and Fight Gem Close Combat
Cress has Helping Hand and Ice Beam
Helping Hand lets it KO pokes it normally wouldn't

[Other Options]

Using Sniper and moves with High Crit chances (Night Slash, Cross Poison)
Relies too much on luck to be consistently better than Battle Armor
Elemental Fangs
low BP, not STAB, nuff said
Brick Break
breaks screens (who uses screens) but low BP
Aqua Tail
can be useful for hitting Terrakion and Tyranitar and stuff.
misses and not STAB
Taunt
No priority, kinda frail, but can still be used
Scarf / Band
Gives it extra power or speed it needs
Locked into a move is bad
Aerial Ace
hits Top and other Fighting / Grass-types
60 BP sucks

[Checks and Counters]

Dragons wall to no end, few fear the weak Rock Slide, even fewer fear Crunch and they all outspeed.
Most can KO with STAB of choice
Nidoking
walls and KOs with Earth Power
Ground-types in general
Earthquake ends Drapion
Strong Special attackers
with a strong STAB move, Drapion dies easily

Keen Eye is released, so there's no need for an unreleased section. Just don't mention Keen Eye at all.

-I'd mention Taunt somewhere, Drapion is just bulky enough to use it
-It's also relatively good for a Choice Band or Scarf
-Acupressure is pretty luck-based but can be lolzy if it goes right
-Aerial Ace is weak but hits Fighting-types fine
