Wow Binding band can get you places, so can abusing subs.

SKillz tried to encore Zoe, but she hasn't done anything yet. Zoe grabs onto the mime and locks her into place with her tentacles, squeezing the mime.
While the Volkraken squeezes the Mime tighter and tighter, Skillz calls a Thunder, striking the Volkraken (but somehow not hurting herself >3>)
Zoe adds more trapping by spewing out water to simulate a whirlpool around the Skillz, finally the Mime encores Zoe to use the same move o3o.

seems like this Mime is finished, but who knows what the Gym Leader will pull from his sleeves.​
