Hey everybody!
As stated above, this is the first team i ever created so please don't comment anything along the lines of "ohmagad are you freaking retarded,n00b?!" but explain me why it's bad =P
My Team:
Basically, i chose mostly 5th Gen Pokemon, because 5th Gen is what got me into Wi-Fi Battles again and filled them up with what I needed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bruiser/Scouter:
Mienshao @ Life-Orb
Regenerator
252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Move 1: Hi Jump Kick
-Move 2: U-turn
-Move 3: Stone Edge
-Move 4: Fake Out
~Used as lead most of the time, to scout/bruise with fake-out+U-Turn and basically deal high damage to anything with HJK. I don't like carrying Hidden Power on this guy because i don't really invest in SpAtk.
Special Attacker 1:
Eelektroloss @ Leftovers
Don't rememember ability's name
252 SpAtk / 4 Spe / 252 HP
Modest Nature
-Move 1: Acid Spray
-Move 2: Thunderbolt
-Move 3: Flamethrower
-Move 4: Grass Knot
~Used to counter several types and to lower SpD of those pesky stallers.
Special Attacker 2:
Starmie @ Life-Orb
Natural Cure
252 SpAtk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Move 1: Psychokinesis
-Move 2: Hydropump/Surf (not sure yet)
-Move 3: Ice Beam
-Move 4: Rapid Spin
~Well, it's Starmie. Rapid Spin thrown in just in case I need it.
Physical Attacker/Sweeper:
Archeops @ Flight Jewel
Weakling
252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Move 1: Acrobatics
-Move 2: Stone Edge
-Move 3: Earthquake
-Move 4: Claw Sharpen
~To kill of Blissey or any other annoying staller quickly and set up for a sweep when i get the chance to.
Phys. Wall + Hazards:
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Iron Barbs
252 Def / 4 SpDef / 252 HP
Sassy Nature
-Move 1: Stealth Rocks / Spikes
-Move 2: Leech Seed
-Move 3: Gyro Ball
-Move 4: Power Whip / Curse (also not sure yet)
~Basically I mostly invest in Phys.Def to stall all those Phys. sweepers, but still get Sassy Nature to not get completely owned by special attacks.
Support+Special Wall:
Umbreon @ Leftovers
Synchronize
252 HP / 4 Spe / 252 SpDef
Calm Nature
-Move 1: Mean Look
-Move 2: Baton Pass
-Move 3: Wish
-Move 4: Taunt
~I notice myself that my Umbreon has to do alot :< It's supposed to stall some special sweepers, provide wish support for Archeops and Mean Look/Baton Pass. Also not sure if I might need more Speed investments?
------------------------
As I mentioned there's not TOO MUCH thought process put into this. I chose some Pokemon I liked and I thought would fit quite well and filled them up to get a balanced team with good type coverage.
While testing it out in Pokemon Online so far, I didn't do too bad, but i noticed that Salamence really raped me :/
I would also like to know what people think of my thoughts in general, not this team in particular. Am I on the right path? Did I think completely the wrong way? xD
Thanks in advance for every response!
