Rare Candy
So we find ourselves in a huge stadium, on the ground there's a dirt arena with white stripes painted on the soil, with random patches of grass and little pools of water appearing all over the battlefield. Wait! This is not some random arena, it seems we've been transported to the ASB Arena, we'll, for once it seems we're gonna have a reg.WHAT THE F--!!!

Hello my bipedal guests, I am discord, Lord of Chaos, .... , and I welcome you to my domain

Isn't this a little... Boring for you? It doesn't make sense.

Make sense? Oh, what fun is there in making sense? Of course my dear, did you expected something totally postmodern and strange, cotton candy clouds raining chocolate milk over confused ponies, who do you think you're talking to, I'm not some predictable creature, to follow a routine. Gross! No, you see, you need to always keep them guessing, this is my game and I'm the master in this board (Suddenly the field changes into a huge game of checker, but with the pieces changed to pieces of monopoly and jack, and with the squares replaced by scrabbles, the public changed to pinger puppets representing different ponies of different ages) I'm the very own chaos that revolves around the little bubble you call order and reason, Twists and turns are my master plan. Who do you think you're you... creatures, mmm, what are you suppsed to be? You're easy, a simple eagle with an ugly haircut. You on the other hand are a bit harder to decipher! That suit it's beautiful, and those wings are simply amazing, you're like 3 animals on one. *Squeee* Just like me, I think I Like you already, still I can't have you breaking the rules of the game (Discord snaps it's fingers and both Helmaroc & Raiza lose their wings)

201px-Discord_%27Well_well_well%2C_some_pony_broke_the_no_wings_no_magic_rule%27_S2E1.png
Some pony broke the no wings no magic rule.

Mmmm... we're not...

You'll get them back in good time. I simply took them to ensure there's no cheating. You see, *this* is the first rule of our game: no flying, and no magic. And I'm deepy hurt you coose to break it willingly even though you had been warned even before coming to my domain, but well, you'll see, what fun would there be in simply destroying you? No, I like to make things interesting. Looks like we're in for a big ol' storm of chaos! *Evil Lughter*

RNG Roll (Arena) [0-360]: 354/360 (Colourcodedchaos's Water WIP)
Oh, come on!
Name: Mystic Lagoon
Field Type: Dragon
Complexity: Intense
Format: All
-An isolated grassy knoll by a small but deep lagoon, perfect for swimming or diving. Trees wave in the distance (hi, trees!). No restrictions on move usage.
-Due to the mystical forces at play here, all Dragon-type moves are powered up by 3 base attack power. Dragon-type pokemon only get a 2 BAP boost, because they already have STAB.

-This quiet spot also represents a meeting place for many of the world's legendary Pokemon. None of them can be captured here, of course, but they gather to watch, and their powers greatly influence the battle (for example, if Groudon, Kyroge, Landorus, or Tornadus are present, then the arena experiences permanent Sun, Rain, Sandstorms, or Hail, respectively). The legendary pokemon that appears is decided by a dice roll made by the ref. The pokemon all have the same probability of appearing; their form (if they have one) is decided by a dice roll once they've been picked (ie, if Arceus is picked, roll out of 18 to decide its type. If Kyurem is picked, roll out of 3 to see if it's Black, White, or Grey (normal)). Basically, this is to prevent Arceus from being 18 times as common as any other legendary.

-Also, some pokemon can be beseeched to change form, use a special ability, or use a move (for example, Ho-oh can revive a fainted Pokemon, and Celebi can turn back time). Each player can only do this once per legendary, this command can't be Taunted/Encored, and there's a 1-round cooldown time before your opponent or ally (in multi-battle) can use it. Whoever moves first gets to claim it first (So you use it Round One, Round Two is cooldown, and your opponent or ally can use it Round Three). It's similar to Unown Soup; for example, Request; Fist Plate, or Request[Arceus]; Fist Plate, or whatever. I don't know how that stuff works, so long as the ref knows what you're talking about. Transformations and moves can be used in the same command (ie, Request: Fist Plate => Judgement or Request: Black Form [Kyurem]/Fusion Bolt). You can flip flop the order (as in Request; Fusion Flare => Grey Kyurem), just so long as the legendary can use that move in the form it's in.
-Below is a list of all the abilities and moves of each legendary that can be observing. Many of these are subtly or substantiall different from the in-game abilities of the pokemon, so read carefully.

-Groudon can use Earthquake, and locks in sun for the entire battle; the weather cannot be switched through any means. Kyroge can use Surf and locks in rain for the entire battle; the weather cannot be changed through any means except by bringing in another legendary that affects the weather. Rayquaza can use Hyper Beam and prevents any weather from being applied except by a Legendary. Reshiram's TurboBlaze removes the Dragon BAP boost and replaces it with a Fire BAP boost of the same magnitude, and it can use Fusion Flare. Zekrom's TeraVolt does the exact same thing, but for Electric moves, and this increases the power of its move Fusion Bolt. Kyurem can either do the same with Ice-type moves in its normal form and use Glaciate or turn into its Black and White forms to copy Reshiram and Zekrom's abilities and their signature moves. Arceus's plates give +1 priority to all moves that match the plate type (this means that Normal-type moves can never get this boost), and it can use Judgement. Giratina's normal form screws with the phazing properties of ghost pokemon, allowing them to get hit by Fighting and Normal moves and for ghost moves to affect Normal types; its Origin form causes a permanent Wonder Room effect that can't be removed except by Requesting it to change forms, and it can use Shadow Force to strike a target a round later. Mew is the only pokemon that can use any move in its entire learnpool when Requested (since it's the only pokemon that can learn every TM, HM, and Move Tutor move). Ho-oh can revive one pokemon on your team when asked to do so, or use Sacred Fire. Lugia can use Aeroblast on a pokemon or on the weather to remove it. Celebi will rewind the entire battle to a previous post once per game (it reverts the health, energy, status effects, and such of all pokemon, plus outside effects like weather, to the way it was at the end of any previous round besides the first two), or it can use Heal Bell on your entire team. Jirachi can use Wish to heal a pokemon other than the active one on your team, or it can use that Wish to inflict any status condition, stat change (to +-3), weather, arena effect, or miscellaneous effect (like Encore or Taunt) for two rounds, including the one you use it on. Dialga can use Roar of Time. Palkia can use Spacial Rend. Darkrai's Bad Dreams makes pokemon wake up easier. Victini's Victory Star increases the accuracy of all moves used by all Pokemon, and it can use V-Create. Tornadus causes permanent hail to fall that can't be turned off. Thundurus causes a storm that randomly switches the weather effects every round (1 in 5 chance that any weather will be chosen, including clear skies). Landorus makes sandstorms that can't be turned off by any means. Meloetta can requested to use Relic Song (which has 10 BAP instead of 8); this switches her form (there is no separate command to make her switch forms). In Aria form, all special attacks are given a power-up; Piroette form boosts the power of physical attacks. Xerneas's Fairy Aura replaces the arena's Dragon-type-boosting with Fairy-boosting. Yvetal does the same, but gives Dark-type moves a boost instead. Zygarde wipes out the Dragon-type boost entirely with its Aura Break. [Insert other legendaries, like the birds and the beasts, here. There's fifty *&%#in' legendaries, haven't figured out how they all work yet.]

-For Legendaries who have special, non-passive powers (like Ho-oh's Sacred Ash or Celebi's Rewind), you can't ask them to use the power and the move at the same time.

-Mew is capable of learning Transform, and can Transform into any pokemon in the entire ASB Pokedex. If Mew transforms into a non-legendary pokemon, than the effects of that pokemon's abilities come into play, and Mew can use all the moves learned through level up (no egg moves, and Mew can use any TM/HM or move tutor move anyway) by that pokemon. Request only works once per legendary per battle, so you can't Request Mew to use a move again during the battle, nor can you Request it to use Transform and a move from its new movepool in the same action. If Mew Transforms into a legendary pokemon, then that legendary effectively replaces Mew for the rest of the battle (so Request Transform => Zekrom makes Mew boost Electric moves instead of giving it a Mold Breaker clone, and it can only use Fusion Bolt). Mew can Transform into any form regardless of the limitations in the cartridge games (so Mew can Transform into Origin form Giratina despite the fact that it's not holding a Griseous Orb, or any Arceus type despite not holding a plate).

-Legendaries CAN be hit by attacks, though doing so aggros them against that pokemon and they will keep attacking it every action until it switches out or faints. They can also be Switcheroo'd or Trick'd.

-If a legendary has a signature item (like Soul Dew or Lustrous Orb), it holds it in battle, and its effects are used in the damage calculations. Tricking an item away from a legendary aggros the legendary and makes it loose its item and any boosts that item would have given it. You don't get to keep the item after the battle is over, however.

-Because the legendaries aren't affiliated with any particular side, any attacks that would hit all opponents but not teammates (like Rock Slide or gen III Surf) instead hit everyone on the field. Groudon's Earthquake and Grey Kyurem's Glaciate both work like this. Telepathy doesn't allow a pokemon to escape this, as it only works on allies.

-There is nothing limiting multiple legendary pokemon from observing a match, though since most legendaries are solitary, you'll usually only have one [Basically, if you want to have more than one legendary, it's up to you, though it's not recommended to battle with more than one. You could potentially battle with all of them active at the same time]. You can Request aid from each observer seperately. In these formats, if you Request aid from a legendary, your opponent cannot counter-Request the following turn, and you cannot Request again for two turns.

-In Multi-Legendary or Brawl Legendary formats, Mew can Transform into any Legendary, including one that's already been used.

-If a player brings a member of a legendary duo or trio here, then there is a much greater chance (25% chance) that another member of that duo or trio will show up too. It is also impossible that the same legendary pokemon will show up to influence the match (If you bring a Lugia, there won't be a wild Lugia coming to help you). If the abilities of the two legendaries conflict, the ability of the visiting legendary overrides the ability of the captured legendary (ie, if you have Groudon and Kyroge or Tornadus shows up to observe the match, then Groudon's Drought is suppressed in favor of either permanent rain or permanent hail. But Zekrom's Teravolt isn't canceled by Reshiram's Turboblaze because Legendary Teravolt isn't the same as normal Teravolt).

-If you decide to have two or more observing legendaries in the arena at one time, the legendaries are rolled separately. What this means is that the ref first rolls to figure out the first legendary, then he rolls again for the subsequent ones. When rolling for the second or subsequent legendaries, the same rules apply as if you were rolling when a player has a legendary (ie, 25% chance that a member of that mon's lineage will be selected). If you decide to include at least three observers and you roll two of a trio, the third has to be the third pokemon in that trio. If you roll two of a quartet, there is a 60% chance of bagging one of the other two, and if you have three of four, the fourth is guaranteed to show (provided there's room in the format).

-Manaphy and Phione are a duo for these purposes. Regigiggas and the other Regis, Lugia and the Birds, Ho-oh and the Beasts, and Keldeo and the other Swords of Justice count as quartets.

-If the effects of these pokemon conflict, then the ability of the first Pokemon rolled takes priority over all the others (so if you got first Zekrom, then Reshiram, and Black Kyurem, you start out with Teravolt). There are a few exceptions to this; No matter where in the line-up it is, Rayquaza's Air Lock takes precedence over any weather effect (like Groudon's or Landorus's), and Zygarde's Aura Break cancels out Fairy Aura, Dark Aura and the Tao Trio's abilities, but not Arceus's Multitype (which increases the priority of moves, not their power) or Meloetta's forms (which increase the power of either physical or special moves, rather than a particular type like Dragon).

-If you have Brawl Legendaries (every single legendary is observing), then these cancellations don't come into effect unless Rayquaza or Zygarde are within five spots of the leader pokemon or are themselves leading (#6 or less).

-You can use a Request to move one pokemon or the other to the front (so with Zekrom/Reshiram/Black Kyurem, you could Request Reshiram or Request Fusion Flare (Reshiram) or Request Form Change (Black Kyurem => White Kyurem) or Request Form Change (Black Kyurem => Grey Kyurem) to get rid of TeraVolt. In most instances, you can request a form change and a move at the same time, as in Request Fusion Bolt (Black Kyurem => White Kyurem) or Request (Black Kyurem => White Kyurem) Fusion Flare, but this is not legal if you're changing the priority of legendaries at the same time (so with just Kyurem, or if Kyurem is in the front, the above requests are legal; if Kyurem is behind another legendary, they aren't).

-Arceus's priority boosts go off of the stated type of the move, not its effective type. So if Insect Plate Arceus is in play and you have a pokemon with the ability Normalize and the move X-scissors (not sure if this is legal, but whatever), then X-scissors gets the +1 priority despite the fact it's treated as a Normal-type move during damage calculations. This applies for any ability or move that changes the type of a move.

-If Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, or any other legendary that changes the type of the arena is present, then STAB Pokemon who also get a BAP boost from the arena only get a 2 BAP boost instead (so Charizard using Flamethrower with Reshiram active gets only a 2 BAP boost from the field, because he already has a 3 BAP boost from his STAB. Remember, these pokemon wipe out the Dragon bonus the arena ordinarily gives).

-Jirachi's Make-a-Wish can give any one pokemon any status, stat boost or drop up to +- three (3), Taunt, Encore, Torment, Disable any move that pokemon knows, and any other effects a move might incur on a pokemon besides direct damage or healing (just to cover all my bases). It can also put Lightscreen, Reflect, Safeguard, or any entry hazard onto either side, cast any weather as if it used the appropriate move (the weather isn't infinite, like Groudon's Drought. If Legendary Drought is in effect, then using Jirachi to cause rain will make it rain as normal, but Drought will return once the rain runs out), apply Wonder Room, Trick Room, Magic Room, Block, Heal Block, or any other arena effect triggered by a move or ability.

RNG Roll (Move) [1-52]: 38 (Kyurem)
RNG Roll (Forme) [1-3]: 1 (Regular Kyurem)

Effects on the arena:

  • Ice moves get +3 BP instead of Dragon Moves
  • Weather is Hail for the round (unchangeable)
  • You may request one thing from Kyurem (either a form change or to use Glaciate or something random but you have to consider if Kyurem would graant such a request). This can be done once
  • Pressure is applied to both pokemon
Frosty equips items and then IAR orders

...dear mussarella that is a big arena description.

Uh, I didn't understand what happened. How come Helmaroc King used Brave Bird...4 times? And...uh...too confusing @_@.

Also, I had a "if successful p/e then Bulk Up" sub, so Tomohawk should have more EN and two less HP and Braviary should have...well, I would like to see what it should have >_>;.

Regardless, to speed things up, Saria will get a Rose Incense.

And, If I understood the wall-of-text correctly, you are supposed to roll a legendary

Augh! Finally free of the restrains that Discord put me in,I'll never use shoelaces again, I can breath regularly again for what seemed to be hours, and considering what place we were in might as well have bean. Brrrrr, we find ourselves on the frozen tundra once again. Luckily for me I never withdraw Yue and luckily for her she's not made of chocolate anymore. Let's just never talk about that. This place is different from before though, the cols winds has an air of despair and hopelessness, ad the atmosphere feels heavy, as if someone was watching the batttle unfold.

Neither Raiza nor IAR enjoy the change of weather, but Frosty and Saria seem to be doing just fine, something weird seems to be going of here, I have never seen such a happy rose in such an inclement blizzard, even sporting a mischievous grin on her cold blushed face. Raiza takes a look at her and instinctively reacts trying to hide his doubts about the current match up with a quick rain of insults directed towards Frosty's masculinity and the size of Saria's flowers. Too bad for him that she's got a plan of her own, letting herself fall into his game, yet keeping her head cool. Saria channels the cold winds that blow tough the arena into a sphere glowing blue, and attacks Raiza with it, so that's the why of the smile, the arena switch transform what could have been an uphill battle and turned it on it's head, causing her Weather Ball to acquire the power of the Blizzard and capitalizing on the arena boost to heavily damage the already hypothermia afflicted Raiza, who can only receive the result of it's insults while trying to keep an intimidating look on it's face, even though she's freezing on the inside.

Saria notices the calmness of Raiza's moves, and the difficulty with his muscles move, and her keen eyes see is an open shot in which she can keep the assault going. Focusing her energy in creating another dangerous orb, this one made out of the toxins her thorns have secreted, the poisonous rose releases a barrage of sludge bombs means to incapacitate even more to the flying cub. His wings are covered in the disgusting liquid, and the opposing winds make him unable to release a Hurricane in payback for the damage takn, only able to sit back and freeze itself while the hail buffets him and his opponent uses him as target practice. No it's can't be, Raiza is melting the snow around him by sheer force of will. She unfreezes herself and tries bating his wings, first moving them slowly, but then, with a sudden burst of energy, releasing them along with a quick an powerful wave of air shurikens. Raiza uncovers her wings of the poison and releases the now poisoned slashes against an overconfident Saria, who is surprised to see the sudden attack and is even more that it managed to harm it's beautiful garments. She's lucky though, her rose perfume protects her from a part of the attack, and lets her take the Super Effective attack with plenty of health to spare, even after the hailstorm takes it toll on both of them.

Saria watches as Raiza start heating itself oce again, this time even more than last as it begins to heat the air around itself. An echoes resounds under the storm.´But neither has time for distractions, not even from a huge grumble that resonates of frustration and ire. Roserade focus herself once again, and with a fine mannerism, creates a second blue orb, this one slightly bigger than the two before. She keeps storing energy as Raiza has finished doing so, Raiza releases a heat wave over the field, melting the snow around himself like it's a flame melting wax. But roserade's reflexes are quick to respond to it, and she jumps from its path, and with a wonderful pirouette evades the hot winds and shots her own cold strike, smashing Raiza with the frozen orb, making the brave pokemon faint under the power of the snow. But as Raiza returns to it's pokeball a powerful roar resounds over the mountain, it seems Raiza's Heat Wave had some unintended effects, namely waking up something ready to completely freeze us along with this place for disturbing it's frozen paradise. As the mythical beast releases a Blizzard we're transported to a new location. And I've never felt so relieved by that.

Rare Candy

RNG Roll (Arena) [0-360]: 52/360 (Glacier Knight's Mushroom Wetlands)
Field Type- Neutral/Ground/Water
Complexity- Moderate
Format- All
Restrictions- No digging, No seismic activity, No weather, Pokemon over 70 pounds will fall into the mud

Mushroom wetlands: this odd area was discovered when some Trainers explored the western parts of petalburg woods. Right before the forest hits the ocean huge mushrooms took root and the section between the sea and woods is crowded with them. The ground is water, but it only comes up eight inches (the water floor is muddy and sinks another four inches). The mushrooms vary in size and height, but all have caps big and strong enough to hold medium sized pokemon and are around four feet tall (Pokemon over seventy pounds will crush the mushrooms and fall into the shallow muddy water). Since this is where the petalburg woods ends, there are a couple of trees in the battle, rising about forty or so feet high (they are also three feet wide). The weather is sunny here and because there is no other place in the world with species of mushrooms like this (and no other place is like this) the pokemon league has banned all weather moves, saying they will disturb the fungi’s natural habitat. Summary:muddy water for floor, pokemon over seventy pounds will crush the mushrooms, no digging earthquake or weather moves.

Aaaaaahhhh! *Splash* Yuk, what the- Gross! It seems we have been transported to a grass field drowned in water, just another arena, why can't we fight on a nice beach while the ocean breeze blows. Oh well, I think I'll have to call another one of my babies, Gavroche, please come out and help me get out of this mud. I think our battlers are having similar problems, both being titanic weights along with the dynamic energy left from falling around 260 m/h have made then fall almost completely into the ground. Granstone is stuck to the... mmm, neck? and Snorlax is worst off, seemingly invisible under all that field. with only it's head popping out for air. Making it impossible to even get to each other, let alone use any contact move.

Granstone manages to get it's arms out of the ground, and focusing on attacking it's head it fires an energy orb that hits the unsuspecting giant, while lifting a good amount of the muddy floor and making it rain all over us, thank you very much. King Bublin is a bit confused and tries to counter the attack but its unable to even get close to it's enemy and only spends energy trying to get out of the mud. at least he managed to free his arms with a bit of help from Grandstone's attack.

King Bublin then starts taking note of the environment and looking at the sun, thinks of a plan to get back at Grandstone. who seems to be trying to escape it's wet prison just as himself. So using the energy on the sun on this wonderful day Snorlax fires off a powerful SolarBeam against the trapped legend. Doing some heavy damage but getting himself even more stuck thanks to the blast's recoil, which Grand abuses to release a second energy orb to deal with the teddy bear. Getting his payback for the attack Granstone tries to prepare itself from what's coming but luckily for him King is still stuck on the mud. Proving incapable to free itself and leaving Granstone to mock him and use this to his own benefit... Or he would if we weren't being transported once again. Now into the middle of a sandstorm, ha! seems someone did have a reason to worry about this.

Rare Candy

RNG Roll (Arena) [0-360]: 162/360 (Leethof's Hard Rock Temple)
Hard Rock Temple

SDS and Leethoof happen to be the coolest gym leaders around. So, instead of having a regular gym arena, they have bought out the local Sinnoh Hard Rock Cafe, and souped it up. Battlers, are you prepared to rock?

The Temple is carved into a large cavern in the side of Mount Coronet, obviously near Oreborough City. Battlers enter through a stone archway, fifteen feet high, ringed with solid stone guitars. Epic rock music blasts out of grand speakers throughout the entryway, shaking any unprepared trainers far before they even begin the battle. In the front room of the Temple, a small gift shop and regular Hard Rock Cafe give the illusion of an average restaurant, though a steady booming begins as the challenger crosses the busy Cafe. It is low and almost unrecognizable at first, but steadily grows louder as the trainer approaches the stone back door, into the arena.

Stomp Stomp Clap.
Stomp Stomp Clap.

The rear door grinds open slowly, retracting into the floor, giving the trainer one last chance to back out. A cloud of dust obscures the main room of the Temple unless the brave challenger steps forward past the doorway. As soon as this happens, the stone door grinds back upwards into its place, and seamlessly blends in with the craggy walls. Now, the trainer can truly appreciate the grandeur of the Hard Rock Temple before the battle begins.

Stomp Stomp Clap.
Stomp Stomp Clap.

The Temple's main room arches high into one of the many peaks of Mount Coronet, and the gray stone walls seem to soar endlessly in the large room. A single bright torch, so large it seems more like a bonfire, extends from a branch of rock, hanging over the center of the arena. With this dim lighting, the challenger can barely make out the vague shadows of a large statue in the back of the room; the statue so large it covers the entire rear wall of the Temple. The torch also gives the battler a glimpse of the solid stone arena. The beat grows louder and louder now that the trainer is within the cavern.

Stomp Stomp Clap.
Stomp Stomp Clap.

Suddenly, a bright flash of light blinds the challenger. They squint and flinch away, but then slowly turn their heads to behold the beautiful sight before them, a pure ode to rock, of both kinds. The statue dominating the rear wall is that of a large stone Bastiodon, its jaw jutting out proudly a good twenty feet. Its eyes hold bright stage lights, brilliantly flashing to the beat of the music. Atop the Bastiodon's jaw, a band is rocking out to the gym leaders' whims on a stone stage, with huge speakers broadly spreading across the Bastiodon's forehead. The steel plating seems to have rusted away into dust, small bits of it clinging to the edges, but the rock still stands sturdily.

Stomp Stomp Clap.
Stomp Stomp Clap.

Then, a spotlight rises up from the Bastiodon stage, and highlights two figures standing atop the Bastiodon's head. One step forwards to a mic jutting out of the rock, and the challenger can only begin to behold the dizzying height they are at.

"Greetings, [challenger]. I am Seven Deadly Sins, and this is Leethoof. We have been eagerly anticipating your arrival, and hope you feel the same way. Now, let's begin."

Instead of readying Pokeballs, Leethoof reaches to the side, and grabs a large stone hammer. The spotlight shifts a bit, and now reveals a matching gong. Leethoof reaches over and slams the gong to the beat of the music.

Stomp Stomp Clap.
Stomp Stomp Clap.

The challenger must once again shield their eyes, as hidden jets in the sides of the stone arena suddenly blast out incomprehensible amounts of sand, kicking up a wild sandstorm. The stage lights hazily point downwards, adding to the dim lighting provided by the bonfire above. The arena is now fully revealed, as more stone grinds to the side and expands it. It is a fifty by fifty foot arena, with rough rock flooring. In the dusty depths of this cavern, there is neither water nor plant-life, and any that manages to take hold is quickly removed by the gym leaders' trusted Pokemon. As the challenger sizes up the playing field below them, Leethoof mashes the gong once again, still keeping the beat.

Stomp Stomp Clap
Stomp Stomp Clap.

With a sudden ruckus, clearly audible even over the raging sands, the cries of many Pokemon add to the beat. Aerodactyl and Archeops dive down from their hidden roost high in the arches of the Temple. Rhyperior and Tyranitar slowly lumber down to the arena, roaring in anticipation, whereas they had previously blended in carefully with the stony walls. Carracosta clambers out of its shell, and looks over the challenger disdainfully as it trudges over below the stage. Two Bastiodon, standing protectively over some eager Shieldon, look up lazily from their perfectly carved holes in the base of the statue. A group of strange-looking stones seemingly tossed in a corner rises up and coalesces into Stratagem, who floats over beside the rest of the group. The rock-types make their way over to their places beneath the stage, rising out of any convenient crevice or walking out some hidden nook, and assemble in a group, roaring loudly and smacking their tough skin together to the beat.

Stomp Stomp Clap.
Stomp Stomp Clap.

Leethoof mashes the gong once more, and the loud noise silences the rowdy Pokemon, though the beat continues to shake the cavern. More large slabs of stone grind into the floor, revealing heavy-duty glass so that the guests at the Cafe may watch the battle. With this, the diners give a loud cheer for the gym leaders before returning to their meals, looking for action out of the corner of their eyes.
Leethoof then sets the hammer down, and looks to Seven Deadly Sins.

Seven Deadly Sins approaches the microphone once more, and gestures down below to the rock-types gathered near the stage, "They're an impressive bunch, aren't they, [challenger]? I hope you're prepared for this battle, but either way..."

Even from this massive distance, the challenger gets the feeling that both of the leaders are grinning widely.
"We will rock you!"

And from a stinky swamp we're now in the middle of an ancient temple, a sandstorm is raging outside and it's starting to filter in through all the cracks on the roof. A mild inconvenience but one that could prove dangerous to our fat friend as he's unable to charge sunlight no more and his own heath is getting diminished by the minute. Granstone looks around the arena, this feels familiar, a place he might have been before. As he loses himself on a flashback Bublin starts rolling towards the Rock, graving him by the waist with all his strength and rolling with him. Granstone snaps out of the trance and smashes the heavy giant with a precise chop to the head, causing him to lose control and throwing him against the walls of the temple, which begins to crumble with the impact. This thing resisted three thousand years but it won't resist you two for long.

King Bublin is mad about his new flesh hat. But a heavy concussion won't stop him from doing what he came to, and so he starts charging his strengths. Granstone is also pissed though. He starts approaching as the Bastiodon start stomping as he moves toward his target. Snorlax is the first to make a sudden move. He again resots to rolling but this time he takes rolls around Grandston, who was trouble reacting to the technique, trying to keep with the giant ball. Snorlax suddenly jumps and with all his forces smashes the confused rock. But Granstone is faster than his appearance would let you believe, and he's able to intercept the attack with one of his own. The momentum going was just too much though, ans he's unable to overcome Bublin's power, as his attack proves unable to stop in nor to recover enough health for it to matter. The stalemate quickly goes in Bublin's favor, who manages to smash Grandstone, crush it with it's weight and then roll on itself to launch the giant boulder into the roof of the temple. Just to see him crashing down seconds later, Knocked out. It seems King Bublin has been the winner of- WAIT! King Bublin also falls to the ground.Completely exhausted after the attack and unable to even stand up he collapses unto the arena, just like the roof who's falling upon us. Wow, what an intense round. Surprises all around abound in this arena. In every way we have to wonder, What's next?

Rare Candy

RNG Roll (Arena) [0-360]: 107/360 (Engineer Pikachu's Erlenmeyer Flask)
Arena: Erlenmeyer Flask
Arena Type: Urban
Field Type: Poison, Water
Complexity: Intense
Formats: All Formats

Restrictions: OHKO moves are banned.

Description:
In the beautiful world of PYREX™ lies a gigantic titration flask, half-full with some ungodly acid; the opening is barely large enough for daring trainers to slip through, and so, of course, that's where the gym battles always take place.

Anything poisonous is powered up in this flask, especially slow-acting toxins. Acid constantly eats away at those affected by it, taking its toll over long periods of time—not even pressure equalization can stop the acid from doing its deed. Yet, the water content is enough those who need it to draw their power from.

Despite borosilicate's resistance to thermal expansion and network solid configuration, it's still quite fragile and vulnerable to a Pokemon's attacks. As such, all of the highly powerful attacks are outright banned, as are items whose sole purpose are to increase damage. That's all there is to it.

Summary:
Effects
  • BPSN starts at 2 DPA instead of the normal 1 DPA.
  • Pokemon without a Poison or non-corroded Steel typing take 1/3 DPA.
  • Rain Dish and Dry Skin are activated at half value in clear weather.
  • Choice Band, Choice Specs, Life Orb, Expert Belt, Muscle Band, Wise Glasses, Evolutionary Stones, Elemental Gems, and +4 DMG items (e.g. Silk Scarf) have no effect.
  • Black Sludge has its effect increased by 50% if it is not boosted by the holder's ability.
Codifications
  • A Pokemon afflicted with PSN that would be PSNed again by an attack will have PSN replaced with BPSN which starts at 2 DPA.
  • Weather Ball is Water-type.
  • Camouflage replaces the user's typing with a Poison typing.
  • Air Lock and Cloud Nine have no effect on acid DMG.

Yeah, if you are expecting a lot of flavor with a rule set like this, you are bonkers. Also, cleaning up the mess left by the previous ref.

Arena RNG: 13

Arena: Ampersandium
Field Type
: And/&
Complexity: Intense
Format: All

Restrictions: No Restrictions.

Description: Here at the Ampers&ium, there is a big & in the middle of the arena, which looks like the ASB Tournament Arena, but what goes on in the arena is heavily influenced by this &. Basically, what this & does is buff everything with & in its name, by move, species, ability, & item. No nicknames, though. Otherwise, go nuts with that Rank 16 Attack Choice B& Rampardos you have always dreamed of using, or that Hippowdon/Excadrill combination for lots of & fun! ^_^

Mechanics:
  • The Ampersand in the arena creates an aura which buffs everything with "and" in its name.
    • The Moves: Helping-Hand, Sand-Attack, Sandstorm, & Sand Tomb, all cost 1 less Energy to execute.
    • The Pokémon: Chandelure, Charmander, Landorus, Mandibuzz, Sandile, Sandshrew, Sandslash, & Stoutland, have the EC of all their moves reduced by 1.
    • The following Abilities get the following buffs:
      • Sand Force now boosts the power of Rock/Ground/Steel-Type moves by 3.
      • Sand Rush now triples the Pokémon's Speed.
      • Sand Stream costs 3 less Energy to activate.
      • Sand Veil's 20% Evasion boost is now flat.
    • The following Items get the following buffs:
      • Binding Band now triples the residual damage dealt by trapping moves.
      • Choice Band now doubles the holder's Attack.
      • Focus Band's -2 BAP effect now applies at all times irrespective of the holder's HP.
      • Muscle Band now increases the BAP of Physical attacks by 2.
      • Power Band no longer halves the holder's Speed & now triples the Sp. Defence boost.
      • RageCandyBar's boost is now permanent until the Pokémon switches out.
