Learned By: Heliodra
Name: Alternator (Dragon Tail + Volt Switch)
New Type: Electric
Classification: Special
Base Power: 60
Accuracy: 90
Power Points: 10
Effect: Forces the target out, then allows the user to switch. -6 Priority.
Target: 1 adjacent Pokemon
A great way to phase and pivot at the same time, practically guaranteeing favorable matchups.

Learned By: Zorcanine
Name: Fog of Night (Sunny Day + Night Daze)
New Type: Dark
Classification: Status
Base Power: N/A
Accuracy: N/A
Power Points: 5
Effect: Summons Dark Fog for 5 turns, or 8 if the user is holding a Dusk Stone. Dark Fog's effects are identical to that of Gen IV's fog weather (the accuracy of all Pokemon reduced by 40%, the effect is dispelled by Defog, Weather Ball's power is doubled, and Moonlight, Synthesis, and Morning Sun have their recovery reduced to 1/4 of max HP), but with a few differences: Dark Fog overrides other weather and can be overridden by other weather and is negated by any effect that would negate weather, i.e. Air Lock, Weather Ball is Dark type and never misses, and Pokemon with Forecast or fusions of Forecast become Dark Type. Dark type Pokemon and Pokemon with the ability Keen Eye or fusions of Keen Eye are immune to the fog's accuracy drop.
Target: N/A
A special weather unique to Zorcanine, this is exactly the kind of smoke that an illusionist needs. Fog of Night is great for disrupting weather teams and forcing your opponent to switch to their defogger, potentially allowing you to KO them and set up hazards. Unfortunately, the fog severely reduces the effectiveness of Zorcanine's only recovery move, Morning Sun, but you can't have everything, I suppose.

Learned By: Archedactyl
Name: Dogfight (Fly + Sky Drop)
New Type: Flying
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 60
Accuracy: 95
Power Points: 10
Effect: On the first turn, the target is lifted into the air, where they are hit with a 60 BP Flying type attack that makes contact. On the second turn, they are dropped for an additional 60 BP Flying type move that does not make contact. While in the air, the target cannot use moves. Pokemon weighing more than 200 kg are not lifted, and instead are only hit with the first attack, and Pokemon that aren't grounded don't take damage from the second attack.
Target: 1 Pokemon
An effective base 120 Flying-type physical STAB, or base 140 for the mega (Tough Claws only boosts the first hit). The damage output here makes this a viable form of Sky Drop, which can actually turn Archedactyl into a stallbreaker, if the stall you're trying to break has been badly poisoned.

Learned By: Chesdon
Name: Landslide (Bulldoze + Power-Up Punch
New Type: Ground
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 50
Accuracy: 100
Power Points: 20
Effect: Raises user's Attack and Speed by 1 stage each.
Target: All adjacent Pokemon
Basically Dragon Dance with half an Earthquake attached. Nice!

Learned By: Mamodrill
Name: Steel Smash (Iron Head + Earth Power)
New Type: Steel
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 85
Accuracy: 100
Power Points: 10
Effect: 30% chance to lower the target's Defense by 1 stage. Makes contact.
Target: 1 adjacent Pokemon
For all those Unaware walls that don't care about your Swords Dancing, you can plow right through them by messing with their stats instead! A simple -1 can turn a 3HKO into a 2HKO, forcing them to switch into something that cares about you being at +6 quite a bit more.

Name: Blaze of Glory (Will-O-Wisp + Sucker Punch)
New Type:

Classification:
Fire.png

Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 5 [MAX: 8]
Effect: Usually goes first. Fails if target is not attacking. Burns the target.
Target: One Pokemon

Basically this gives Zorcanine a very powerful priority STAB move that burns the opponent should they attack making physical attackers nearly null and void against it.

Name: Dive-Bomb (Bounce + Stone Edge)
New Type:

Classification:

Base Power: 90
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 10 [MAX: 16]
Effect: High critical hit ratio. 20% chance to paralyze target.
Target: Gives Archedactyl a nice contact Flying STAB with a nice paralysis chance to help cripple other offensive threats or completely cripple any Pokemon when coupled with Aura of Failure.

Learned by: Chesdon
Name: Cactus Sting (Leech Seed + Bulldoze)
New Type:
Grass.png

Classification:
Physical.png

Base Power: 55
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 15 [MAX: 24]
Effect: User recovers 1/8 of target's HP. 100% chance to lower adjacent Pkmn Speed by 1.
Target: One Pokemon

Makes for a nice semi-recovery move with a really good secondary effect to allow Chesdon to potentially outspeed faster Pokemon.

Learned by: Mamodrill
Name: Cold Snap (Earthquake + Icicle Crash)
New Type:

Classification:

Base Power: 95
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 10 [MAX: 16]
Effect: 30% chance to flinch the target. Hits adjacent Pokemon.
Target: All Adjacent Pokemon

Makes for an accuracte Ice STAB move on Mamodrill that becomes really powerful under Hail.

Chesdon and Mamodrill's moves arent allowed colourcodedchaos . PLEASE read the rules before subbing, or you just look a bit stupid.
Ah. I did read the rules... I just also completely misunderstood them; I thought it meant that, if you're fusing a Fire-type and Water-type move, the resultant move had to be Fire- or Water-type. Whoops. In retrospect, this does seem rather obvious, if a little restrictive, but mine is not to reason why.

Aaaaanyway:-
Learned By: Chesdon
Name: Kunai Burst (Reversal + Spikes)
New Type: Fighting
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 60
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 24
Effect: Spreads a layer of Spikes on the ground. If the user took damage this turn, spreads two layers. Priority -4
Target: Single enemy
Spikes is great, but what if it was a damaging move too? Would it make Chesdon into even more of a powerhouse, or would it be even more vulnerable to Flying-types? You make the call. =]

Learned By: Mamodrill
Name: Pykrete Burst (Icicle Spear + Iron Defence)
New Type: Ice
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 25
Accuracy: 80%
Power Points: 32
Effect: Hits two to five times. Raises the user's Defence one per hit.
Target: Single adjacent enemy
With a move like this, Mamodrill becomes a 'mon with serious physical staying power. As such, the accuracy is suitably useless (grumblegrumblestoneedgemissingthreetimesinarowgrumble).

Learned By: Archedactyl
Name: Beak Blade (Stone Edge + Air Cutter)
New Type: Flying
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 70
Accuracy: 90%
Power Points: 24
Effect: Always crits. Does damage based on the opponent's Special Defence rather than Defence.
Target: Single Adjacent enemy
This gives Archedactyl an admittedly imperfect way around physical walls - though of course, if it was a perfect way around physical walls, it'd be useless. Just so everyone's on the same page with this one, I decided to add the second part of the move based on the fact that Air Cutter is a Special move. If this was wrong of me, please say. =]

Learned By: Heliodra
Name: Dragon Shout (Dragon Pulse + Hyper Voice)
New Type: Dragon
Classification: Special
Base Power: 90
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 24
Effect: No additional effect. Sound-based move.
Target: Single non-adjacent enemy
On the surface, this might seem a bit dull, but consider: Heliodra can now hit through subs with a 90 BP STAB move. This makes it better as a revenge killer and allows it to worry less about people using its Rest turn to set up on it. Insert obligatory arrow-knee interaction here.

Learned By: Zorcanine
Name: Umbrage (Payback + Fire Spin)
New Type: Dark
Classification: Special
Base Power: 40
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 32
Effect: Deals additional damage to the opposing Pokémon at the end of every turn for 2-5 turns equal to the move's Base Power. The Base Power of this additional damage increases by 20 every time it does damage.
Target: Single enemy
So, this is actually a pretty brilliant move for dealing with walls of any kind, especially since the damage ramps up over time. Yes, the opponent can always switch out... but so can you, perhaps to a dedicated Shadow Tag trapper. =]

Learned By: Aggrodos
Name: Aqua Tomb (Rock Tomb + Aqua Tail)
New Type: Water
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 75
Accuracy: 95
Power Points: 15
Effect: Lower the target speed by one stage
Target: Single Target

Learned By: Zorcanine
Name: Nightly Spin (Fire Spin + Nasty Plot)
New Type: Dark
Classification: Special
Base Power: 40
Accuracy: 85%
Power Points: 15
Effect: Target is trap for 2-5 turns and boost special attack by 1 stage
Target: Single target

Learned By: Chesdon
Name: Frenzy Quake (Frenzy Plant + Earthquake)
New Type: Ground
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 150
Accuracy: 90%
Power Points: 5
Effect: User need to recharge next turn
Target: Single target

Learned By: Mamodrill
Name: Icy Claw (Metal Claw + Blizzard)
New Type: Ice
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 70
Accuracy: 95%
Power Points: 24
Effect: Have a 20% chance to boost attack
Target: Single target

I just noticed something... Aggrodos is actually an illegal fusion! Gyarados and Aggron are NOT in the same egg group, with Aggron being in the Monster egg group while Gyarados is in the Water 2 and Dragon egg group. That said, I shall skip making a move for it until I know it is confirmed that the fusion is legal.

Learned By: Zorcanine
Name: Fire Slash (Fire Fang + Night Slash)
New Type: Fire
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 65
Accuracy: 100
Power Points: 15
Effect: Fire Slash deals damage and has a 10% chance of burning the opponent. It also has an increased critical hit ratio.
Target: Single Target

Learned By: Archedactyl
Name: Wing Smack (Wing Attack + Smack Down)
New Type: Flying
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 55
Accuracy: 100
Power Points: 25
Effect: Wing Smack removes the effects of Magnet Rise and Telekinesis. Wing Smack makes its target vulnerable to Ground type moves and Arena Trap even if it is Flying type or has Levitate. This effect lasts until the affected Pokémon switches out. This effect does not occur if the target is behind a substitute. Wing Smack can hit Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turns of Fly, Bounce, and Sky Drop, and if it does it will deal double damage. If it hits a Pokémon that is using Fly or Bounce, it will knock it down, cancelling the move; if it hits a Pokémon using or affected by Sky Drop, it will not be knocked down. A Pokémon hit with Wing Smack can still use these moves on subsequent turns.
Target: Single Target

Learned By: Chesdon
Name: Land Smash (Earthquake + Wood Hammer)
New Type: Ground
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 110
Accuracy: 100
Power Points: 15
Effect: Land Smash does damage, and the user receives recoil damage equal to ⅓ of the damage done to the target. Land Smash inflicts double damage if the target is in the first-turn stage of Dig.
Target: Hit all adjacent Pokémon, including allies.

Learned By: Mamodrill
Name: Mud Spike (Mud Slap + Ice Shard)
New Type: Ground
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 30
Accuracy: 100
Power Points: 20
Effect: Mud Spike inflicts damage and lowers the target's accuracy by one stage. +1 priority.
Target: Single Target

I think we should replace it with the Fusion that didn't get in when Aggrodos was voted.
I calculated the votes, and the winners were both Scrafty / Granbull and Abomasnow / Tyranitar with 2 votes each. We should probably choose one.

So someone (I don't remember who) actually brought this up ages ago, but we ignored it since no one seemed really bothered about. But now that's been brought up again and people DO seem to care about it, it would probably make the most sense just to erase Aggrodos from the Hall of Fame and put Heliodra in this slate on this thread. As for replacing it, I don't think that's necessary since a) most of the early (and mid... and late) rounds were ties with more than 5 fusions winning so there wouldn't be a need for a runner up replacement and b) even it wasn't we have WELL over 100 fusions now so I don't think one being dropped off is going to make much of a difference to the big picture. I won't delete just yet until I hear from other council members, but I'll add Heliodra to this slate so that people can make moves for it.

Oh, and as for the coding thing, I'm going (probably) to post in the main thread later today once I sort one or two things out.

Voting is now! Rules are:
"You may vote for up to three entries per Pokemon, including your own.
The entries with the most votes will be archived. Any ties will count as a win."
I'll edit in who I'm voting for when I have a bit more time

Y'know, I might be currently ahead for my Archedactyl submission, but I like that someone voted for my Chesdon submission. Kunai Burst and Umbrage (for Zorcanine) are probably my favourite moves I've designed for this competition. It's nice to be appreciated. =]

I was going to vote, but since rhydreigon is unavailable right now, and he asked me to call voting closed, it would have felt a bit disingenuous using the finality of my votes to alter the final standings. Congratulations to your winners! Drum roll please...

Zorcanine: Blaze of Glory
Name: Blaze of Glory (Will-O-Wisp + Sucker Punch)
New Type:

Classification:

Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 5 [MAX: 8]
Effect: Usually goes first. Fails if target is not attacking. Burns the target.
Target: One Pokemon

Basically this gives Zorcanine a very powerful priority STAB move that burns the opponent should they attack making physical attackers nearly null and void against it.
Archedactyl: Beak Blade
Name: Beak Blade (Stone Edge + Air Cutter)

Chesdon: Cactus Sting

New Type:

Classification:

Base Power: 55
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 15 [MAX: 24]
Effect: User recovers 1/8 of target's HP. 100% chance to lower adjacent Pkmn Speed by 1.
Target: One Pokemon

Makes for a nice semi-recovery move with a really good secondary effect to allow Chesdon to potentially outspeed faster Pokemon.
Mamodrill: Frostbite
Name: Frostbite (Freeze Dry + Drill Run)
New Type:

Classification:

Base Power: 90
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 20 [MAX: 32]
Effect: Super effective on Water types. 20% Freeze chance.
Target: One Pokemon

Its Freeze Dry, but 100% better!
Heliodra: Pulsing Charge
Name: Pulsing Charge (Parabolic Charge + Dragon Pulse)
New Type:
Electric.png

Classification:
Special.png

Base Power: 85
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 10 [MAX:16]
Effect: Drains 50% of the damage dealt
Target: Any Foe

Yeah its basically a better Parabolic Charge. And it kinda outclasses Thunderbolt. Job well done here.

Next Slate!

gliscor.gif

Parents: Scyther / Gliscor
Shared egg group: Bug
Offspring name: Scyscor
New type: Bug / Ground
New base stats: 82 / 112 / 112 / 60 / 87 / 110
New ability and desc: Technicutter - Moves of or below 60 BP get boosted by 1.5x, and attack cannot be lowered
Notable moves: Swords Dance, Aerial Ace, Agility, Baton Pass, Defog, Roost, Brick Break, Knock Off, Pursuit, U-Turn, Tailwind, Toxic, Stealth Rock, Taunt, Bulldoze, Bug Bite, Feint Attack (?, somehow is the only dark move other than pursuit boosted by tech)
Role identification: Not as good as I thought it would be, but Nincada's (formerly) unique typing is decent offensively and of course offensively. Unfortunately Poison Heal is DW so we're stuck with Hyper Cutter. I suppose STAB Technician Bulldoze could be a thing on a defensive mon. Also, SR neutrality!

jolteon.gif

Parents: Shiftry + Jolteon
Shared egg group: Field
Offspring name: Joltry
New type: Grass / Electric
New base stats: 87 / 92 / 70 / 110 / 87 / 115
New ability and desc: ChloroVolt - Doubles Speed in Electric Terrain. (Thanks to Gengarzilla in the OM room for the name)
Notable moves: Dark Pulse, Defog, Energy Ball, Fake Out, Focus Blast, Giga Drain, Grass Knot, Hurricane, Knock Off, Nasty Plot, Shadow Ball, Swords Dance, Synthesis, Tailwind, Whirlwind, Agility, Baton Pass, Discharge, Heal Bell, Light Screen, Roar, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Wish, Solar Beam
Role identification: What's interesting is that this Pokemon can function well in Sun, Rain and the under-appreciated Electric Terrain, as well as being able to function as a regular (set-up?) sweeper as well as a support, with access to Wish, Heal Bell, etc. STAB Solar Beam for Sunny Day (maybe Hidden Power Fire too?),Hurricane and Thunder for Rain Dance and ChloroVolt for Electric Terrain improvement, which also increases the power of electric-type moves. An all-round, very versatile Pokemon.

azumarill.gif
breloom.gif

Parents: Azumarill + Breloom
Shared Egg Group: Fairy
Offspring Name: Azumaloom
New Type: Water / Grass
New Base Stats: 90 / 100 / 90 / 70 / 80 / 70
New Ability and Desc: Healing Fat - HP is restored by 1/8th every turn when burned or frozen. Prevents the attack drop from Burn status and the immobilization by Frozen status.
Notable Moves: Leech Seed, Scald, Spore, Substitute, Aqua Jet, Waterfall, Bullet Seed, Sword Dance, Belly Drum, Synthesis, Knock Off
Role Indentification: Can run an annoying SubSeed set with access to Spore and Scald and huge passive recovery. Immunity to burns and good boosting and STAB options make a physically attacking set with Spore viable as well.

infernape.gif
sawk.gif

Parents: Infernape and Sawk
Shared egg group: Human-Like
Offspring Name: Sawkape
New Type: Fire / Fighting
New base stats: 85 / 124 / 83 / 77 / 83 / 106
New ability and desc: Blazing Body (Basically just Sturdy + Blaze)
Notable Moves: Close Combat, Flare Blitz, Blaze Kick, Stealth Rock, Ice Punch, Reversal, Knock Off, Poison Jab, Iron Tail, Thunder Punch, Taunt, Acrobatics, Earthquake, Swords Dance, Endeavor
Role Identification: Functions as a bulkier and physically stronger Infernape with slightly less speed and a not as usable special attack. Thanks to Blazing Body, it can function pretty well as a suicide lead with access to Stealth Rock, Reversal, and it doesn't need to hold a focus sash, so its a really nice pokemon to use for getting up hazards up and dealing a lot of damage at the same time.

absol.gif

Parents: Weavile + Absol
Shared egg group: Field
Offspring name: Weasol
New type: Dark
New base stats: 77/135/72/70/82/110
New ability and desc: Pressure + Super Luck
Notable moves: Swords Dance, Knock Off, Play Rough, Ice Beam, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, Sucker Punch, Fake Out, Taunt, Pursuit, Superpower, Will-o-Wisp, Nasty Plot, Focus Blast, Ice Punch, Icicle Crash, Low Kick, Poison Jab, Surf
Role identification: Weasol is a terrific attacker, even pre-mega. It's ability is fairly ass, but can be useful in certain situations. However, what is really should be using is it's mega stone, Absolite...

weavile.gif
absol-mega.gif

Weasol-Mega
New type:
Dark/Ice
New base stats: 77/155/72/110/82/150
New ability and desc: Magic Bounce
Notable moves: Swords Dance, Knock Off, Play Rough, Ice Beam, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, Sucker Punch, Fake Out, Taunt, Pursuit, Superpower, Will-o-Wisp, Nasty Plot, Focus Blast, Ice Punch, Icicle Crash, Low Kick, Poison Jab, Surf
Role identification: This is an insane mon. At 150 speed, with Sucker Punch, this pokemon laughs at Talonflame. It also outspeeds most pokemon, even megas - including the dreaded Archedactyl-mega, and it actually outspeeds Mega Gengar, plus can revenge it anyway with Sucker Punch. Oh and what's more is that this mon can utilize it's wonderful mixed movepool and stats to run something that neither Weavile or Absol did... Nasty Plot. Good luck trying to wall Mega Weasol, it could be running either Nasty Plot or SD, or just straight up run a mixed all out attacking set.

New Type: Bug
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 50
Accuracy: 100
Power Points: 20
Effect: Makes contact. Drains 50% of damage dealt. User switches out.
Target: One adjacent Pokemon.
After Technicutter, Buzz Off is actually more powerful than U-Turn, and the draining makes it a pseudo-Regenerator.

Not gonna submit a move for Joltry because the someone basically beat me to it; Joltry is mostly useless without a way to set up its own Electric Terrain.

New Type: Water
Classification: Physical

Target: One adjacent Pokemon.
A STAB move with some team support built in, its boost is only weaker than Tailwind if the opponent switches out!

Learned By: Joltry
Name: Geomagnetism (Magnet Rise + Grassy Terrain)
New Type:
Electric.png

Classification:
Status.png

Power Points: 10 [Max 16]
Effect: Activates electric terrain and makes Joltry immune to ground-type moves, spikes, etc. for the duration. Can be baton passed.
Target: Self
A damage-dealing variant has already been proposed, so for the sake of variety, here's one that gives Joltry some immunities along with its increased speed.

Learned By: Azumaloom
Name: Cavitation Bubble
New Type:
Water.png

Classification:
Physical.png

Base Power: 60
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 20 [Max 33]
Effect: +1 Priority. Burns the user and has a 30% chance of burning the target.
Target: One adjacent Pokemon.
Fun fact: Mantis shrimp can punch so fast it creates a short-lived vacuum where their claw was. So can Azumaloom, but it hurts a bit without a shell. Or would, if Azumaloom didn't love being burned.

Learned By: Sawkape
Name: Pyrrhic Victory (Reversal + Flame Charge)
New Type:
Fire.png

Classification:
Physical.png

Base Power: Varies
Accuracy: 95%
Power Points: 10 [Max 16]
Effect: +1 Priority. The user sacrifices its remaining HP to deal heavy damage. The damage increases based on how little of the user's maximum HP was lost.
Target: One adjacent Pokemon.
With Blazing Body powering it up, this is potentially the strongest move Sawkape has access to. While there are counters (Flash Fire, +2 priority, etc) it will nuke anything that doesn't have one, dragging it to the Pokemon Center along with it.

Essentially a slightly better Bug-type Acrobatics. Allows it to punish Knock Off as well since it has a powerful Bug STAB either way.
