Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Trying to stall, albeit not stalling fully, Electro makes a shocking decision to Endure the incoming Ice Beam. However, Rodan-Greninja predicted of this, and using his ninjutsu, lobbed a Toxic chakra grenade in the fluffy-hair dragon's way. Knowing that she can't evade forever, Electro Heals the Pharant-Revenankh of his Paralysis, and before succumbing to the poisons, managed to fire a powerful Zap Cannon attack! Unfortunately, even with Gravity slowing Rodan's movements, the neurotoxins had already threw Electro's aim off the mark, and she missed by, well, more than a hair. The ball is now in IAR's court now, and with the Protean jutsu, it's definitely going to be ever so slightly more difficult.

It seems the deity worshipped by Togekisses everywhere decided to switch favours, this time granting Pharant-Revenankh a total of two critical strikes at the ever-changing Rodan-Greninja. This allowed the former's attacks to sucessfully lead in the damage race, although it's a slight pity that the Rock Slides failed to be fast enough for flinching. Rodan, however, deliberately took the inevitablity of his Knocked Off Rare Candyto further set up Spikes as hazards on the field, determined to take this fight as long, or as short, as needed, while IAR did little to that effect. Even so, a STABbed Acrobatics due to Protean is no laughing matter, even though Avnomke now has the disadvantage in ordering first...

If Counter is used, then Spikes the first time, Extrasensory the next, and Spikes the third
As if by some unsaid consent, Pharant-Revenankh and Rodan-Greninja began a short, weird game of tag. However, even with a Protean boost, the latter found himself unable to touch Pharant's shadow, whereas Pharant's Phantom Forces knock the breathe out of Rodan every time the latter Bounces up high.
Shadow Sneak > Shadow Punch > Shadow Sneak IF (Damaging Priority Combo) is used, THEN use Chill that action, AND use Smack Down next action. IF (Protective/Evasive Move) is used successfully, THEN use Chill that action. IF Quick Attack is used, THEN use Mach Punch that action, AND use Smack Down next action.
Desperate for a last ditch attack that will not even KO, Rodan-Greninja slammed into Pharant-Revenankh with the power of its mournful spirits, the Impact staggering the mummy warrior. However, IAR foresaw that such an attack would have no doubt exhausted the "Bye bye Skill Frog", and thus had Pharant Chilling and preparing for the next, deadlier bout. With enough HP and EN to survive the round, can Avnomke really score the KO and avenge Rodan?

Zen-Medicham jumped out, so eager for battle that even the cobwebs did not stop him from landing the first Headbutt on Pharant - right before the latter vanishes into the shadows to retaliate with a Phantom Force too! Catching on to Pharant's movements, Zen sprints forward, ready to deliver the next punch with the force of a bullet train, when suddenly Pharant's Shadow stretched unimaginably long...
IAR's hand is ready on Pharant's Pokeball, preparing to recall him for another...
The shadow met Zen's blurred form...
And Zen is hurled right into the air, as Pharant's huge, mummified fist nailed him right in the abdomen! A critical hit!
Zen's form slumped, too cramped in pain to fight further, even though Pharant looked as if he'd be knocked down by a mere breeze. What kind of luck does IAR posses?!?!?!

And IAR's situation suddenly tilted towards the place called "dire" when Utilitand-Fidgit is pummeledon all sides by rocks and spikes upon reentering the battle. Desperate that his comrades doesn't suffer the same fate, that IAR would not lose the battle because of these hazards, Utilitand decides to Spin them away. His first attempt is blocked by Iceberg-Avalugg, but lumbering Iceberg is too slow to Protect his advantage forever, and tries to bury Utilitand in an Avalanche instead.
Snow and ice pounded down upon Fidgit's multi-digit multi-appendage body, nearly burying IAR as well. The Ground gym leader remained calm, though, issuing a short bark, and Utilitand soon came digging out, Protected by his very own space shield! Maybe its time for the real attacks to trade!

Deciding to go out in a typical comedian fashion, Utilitand-Fidgit applauds Iceberg-Avalugg, Encoring the latter into another bite of the Ice Fang, which promptly KO'ed the former!
Now at the point of battle with both sides having half their team left, perhaps its time for some insight to how it may end. IAR's famous Inzektor unfortunately has a terrible matchup against Avnomke's Pauly, but then counters nicely with Pyronex in tow. However, Avnomke's Samantha is in a terrible shape, barely able to take a round from any of IAR's mons. It might be that IAR's Aromatisse will be the key to the whole match, before Pyronex stomps in and steamrolls over Avnomke - but if Iceberg-Avalugg can pull a earth-shaking comeback against Pyronex before Pauly falls, then the results will turn murky again!
