And as Sucker hits the ground, Texas is already ready to send out his final Pokemon, Roughrider the Druddigon. Roughrider takes advantage of Myrkul's sluggishness after that massive attack it threw out last round, and creates a Substitute of itself from its life essence. Roughrider gets ready to throw out a Sucker Punch, but Myrkul predicts it and attempts a Pain Split. Unfortunately, what Myrkul didn't predict was that Substitute being in the way, resulting in the Revenankh expending a massive amount of energy for virtually no gain. Enraged, Myrkul throws out a burst of light, as Roughrider hides behind his Substitute, leaving the Substitute barely standing. The Druddigon retaliates by screaming Pokespeak at Myrkul, presumably calling the Revenankh fat or making disparaging comments about Myrkul's mother.
As the round ends, it looks like the challenger has gotten a huge advantage, despite having dealt no damage to his opponent. He did manage to (probably) order second against Sableye, which is a good thing. This match is really going to be close!
