    Command: (Ability: Snow Warning) Hail causes two (2) damage per action to all non-Ice typed Pokemon. Hail activates the abilities Snow Cloak and Ice Body, as well as increasing Blizzard’s accuracy to 100% and letting it have an additional 30% chance to bypass Protect.
    Soundproof (DW): (Innate) Pokemon with this ability emit their own powerful electrostatic or sound-dampening field, making them immune to sound-based moves other than an ally's or their own Heal Bell.     Abilities:
    Magma Armor: (Innate) This Pokemon has a strong, heated armor that makes it incapable of being frozen. The armor also reduces the Base Attack Power of all incoming attacks by one (1).

    Flame Body: (Innate) This Pokemon’s external temperature is kept at such a high level that any contact attack used on this Pokemon has a 30% chance of burning the opponent.

    Abilities: Levitate, Technician
    Levitate: (Trait) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading Ground moves like Bulldoze, Dig, Earthquake, and Magnitude. Other Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.
    Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally deal 6 or below base damage to have their base damage multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) damage, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2).
    Mold Breaker (DW): (Innate) Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, Volt Absorb will not absorb electric attacks, Clear Body does not prevent stat-drops, etc.)​

    Steel: Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.
    Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

The Pokemon executes weak attacks much more effectively, adding +1 priority to all their attacks with 6 or less Base Attack Power (after other ability adjustments). Priority is applied to the summed Base Attack Power of a multi-hit move (e.g. Double Kick has priority at 6 BAP, Skill Link Bullet Seed doesn't at 15 BAP.)

    Two pokemon trainers are practising arcane magic in this arena. Glacier Knight opens with QuickSilver the Slugma, while ToastTyrant13 elects to send out Combustion Man the Voltorb. Combustion Man wastes no time and emits a Thunder Wave that causes QuickSilver to twitch erratically. This does not stop him from grabbing a Marowak Club, but it does stop him from putting it in the cauldron! During the sluggish lava slug's failed attempt at summoning a pokemon, Combustion Man unleashes its Hidden Power, though this does not do much to QuickSilver. Even the Voltorb's Charge Beam barely does any damage, though it does seem to have raised its attacking power a little. But suddenly it is struck by an Earth Power from the Slugma, who shows Combustion Man what real power is! Who knows, maybe the Marowak might not be necessary after all. But QuickSilver still has that Marowak Club, just in case.

    Since Thunder is neither blocking the opponent's path to the cauldron nor catching/taking the item, I'm going to rule that it does not prevent the item from going in.

    Combustion Man did not like that last attack QuickSilver made, so activates levitating capabilities with Magnet Rise, just in time to protect itself from another Earth Power, although most of the attack still hits. QuickSilver then finds himself staring down a massive Thunder attack that serves to make his paralysis even worse, but fortunately for him, the Marowak Club is safe. The Slugma retaliates by coughing up some Smog in Combustion Man's face, while the Voltorb unleashes its Hidden Power once more. But QuickSilver is unperturbed and throws the Marowak Club into the cauldron. Suddenly, there is a loud rumbling and the contents of the cauldron start to bubble. Soon, a fully-grown Marowak emerges from the cauldron to do battle at QuickSilver's side! Suddenly things aren't looking so good for Combustion Man.

    To replace Combustion Man, ToastTyrant has called upon The Boulder the Bolderdash. Immediately The Boulder creates a Double Team of four illusory clones to confuse its opponents. This seems to do the trick as Marowak's Bonemerang strikes one of these clones. Meanwhile, QuickSilver, not being very quick at all, slides over and grabs an Empoleon Crown, but suddenly a very powerful Rock Blast from The Boulder knocks it away! Ouch, and it looks like a couple of those rocks got him in the eyes too! Marowak continues to attack her new opponent but the Bone Rush merely hits another clone. QuickSilver is now unable to do what he wants, and The Boulder's Earth Power quickly puts him out of his misery. Once again, Marowak's Bonemerang fails to hit the real Bolderdash, instead hitting yet another clone.

    Glacier Knight has sent out Twiggy the Snover to replace his fallen Slugma. Immediately the Snover summons a hailstorm! This will be harmful to both her Marowak ally and Bolderdash opponent, so I do not know how this is going to go down. The Boulder tries to scorch Twiggy with a Flamethrower, but Twiggy uses a lot of her energy to Protect herself from the flames. Hoping to strike true this time, Marowak goes in for a Bone Rush, but even with a 50:50 chance, she still fails to land the blow. Instead, the last of The Boulder's illusory clones disappears. This prompts it to create a Heat Wave to try to melt both opponents, but the wounded Snover isn't beaten yet. She plants some Leech Seeds into The Boulder's stony skin, hoping that they will feed her some of its life force. Marowak, meanwhile, finally hits the real Bolderdash with a Bonemerang, and it looks like it really hurts too. Then, to finish up, Twiggy Protects herself from another one of The Boulder's Flamethrowers while Marowak's Bone Rush strikes true and she pummels the Bolderdash, almost into dust! Has ToastTyrant failed today, or does he have an ace up his sleeve?
