[OVERVIEW]

* Gliscor is a great stallbreaker thanks to access to Taunt and Toxic, which let it cripple most defensive Pokemon.
* Poison Heal also provides Gliscor with an effective immunity to status, as well as passive recovery twice that of Leftovers.
* Roost gives it great staying power, especially in tandem with Poison Heal.
* A good base Speed stat of 95 lets it outrun almost all defensive Pokemon as well as some important offensive ones, such as Bisharp.
* It also has good 75 / 125 / 75 bulk and decent power from a base 95 Attack stat.
* Besides its stallbreaking capabilities, Gliscor is a great check to some common offensive Pokemon like Scizor, Cobalion, and Hidden Power Grass Raikou.

Moves
========

* Taunt lets Gliscor prevent opposing Pokemon from healing, removing status, and setting up.
* Toxic allows Gliscor to cripple defensive Pokemon and wear down many of its checks. In tandem with Taunt, most defensive Pokemon are beaten one-on-one.
* Earthquake is Gliscor's STAB move which gives it decent offensive presence and allows it to damage the Steel- and Poison-type Pokemon immune to Toxic.
* Roost keeps Gliscor healthy throughout the match.

Set Details
========

* 176 Speed EVs with a Jolly nature allow Gliscor to outspeed positive-natured base 85s and everything slower, letting it use Taunt effectively versus most defensive Pokemon and more easily check a few slower offensive Pokemon such as Bisharp and Nidoking.
* 244 HP EVs reach a Poison Heal number and let Gliscor take hits as effectively as possible.
* 12 Def EVs let Gliscor avoid the OHKO from +2 Adamant Life Orb Bisharp's Sucker Punch after Stealth Rock damage. The rest of the EVs are used to maximize Special Defense.
* If a bulker spread is needed, fewer Speed EVs can be used if Gliscor's teammates can handle Pokemon such as Nidoking adequately. A couple options are using 136 Spe to outrun Timid Togekiss and Chandelure, or 56 Spe to outrun Jolly Bisharp. The extra EVs should be added to Gliscor's Special Defense.
* Poison Heal recovers 1/8th of Gliscor's health every turn and provides it with effective immunity to Status.
* Toxic Orb is required to activate Poison heal.
* More Speed can be used to outrun Pokemon such as Nidoqueen or Nidoking. However, the extra bulk is generally preferred.

Usage Tips
========

* Bring Gliscor in on defensive Pokemon that cannot significantly hurt it, such as Blissey and bulky Scizor, or offensive Pokemon that it comfortably checks, such as Cobalion.

Team Options
========

* Pokemon that appreciate Water-, Grass-, and Dragon-types worn down, such as Keldeo and Infernape, are good partners.
* Pokemon such as Mega Aerodactyl and Choice Scarf Hydreigon appreciate defensive cores being broken down by Gliscor and can take on the offensive teams Gliscor has a harder time with.
* Steel-types such as Scizor are able to take on the Grass- and Dragon-types that check Gliscor. In return, Gliscor checks the Electric- and Fighting-types, such as Raikou and Cobalion, that plague the Steel-types.
* Dragon-types such as Latias and Hydreigon can deal with the Grass- and Water-types that beat Gliscor. Gliscor can take on the Steel-types and defensive Fairy-types that check the Dragon-types.

Moves
========

* Swords Dance provides Gliscor with the ability to boost its Attack, turning it into a formidable bulky sweeper.
* Earthquake is a reliable STAB move that gives Gliscor good neutral coverage on its own.
* Toxic allows Gliscor to wear down Pokemon immune or resistant to Earthquake such as Hydreigon.
* Alternatively, Knock Off can be used to do more direct damage to Pokemon such as Latias and Celebi, while also removing items. However, without access to Toxic, Gliscor has a harder time wearing down Pokemon such as Hydreigon and Slowbro.
* Roost keeps Gliscor healthy throughout the match.

Set Details
========

* 56 Speed EVs with a Jolly nature allow Gliscor to outspeed Jolly Bisharp.
* 244 HP EVs reach a Poison Heal number and maximize Gliscor's general bulk. The rest of the EVs are placed into Special Defense to let Gliscor take attacks from Pokemon such as Clefable more reliably.

Moves
========

* Gliscor is an effective Stealth Rock setter thanks to its good bulk, reliable recovery, and positive matchups versus some common hazard removers such as Scizor and Forretress.
* Earthquake is a reliable STAB move that gives Gliscor good neutral coverage on its own.
* Toxic allows Gliscor to wear down Pokemon immune or resistant to Earthquake, including every viable hazard remover besides Scizor, Forretress, and Tentacruel.
* Knock Off can be used to directly damage Pokemon such as Latias and Starmie, at the cost of being unable to wear down Tsareena. It leaves it unable to punish Hydreigon or Slowbro.
* U-turn is an option to let Gliscor generate momentum.
* Roost keeps Gliscor healthy throughout the match.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grass-types**: Celebi and Decidueye resist Earthquake and can use Gliscor to set up with Nasty Plot and Swords Dance, respectively. Celebi also has Natural Cure to mitigate the effectiveness of Toxic.

**Offensive Water-types**: Keldeo and Starmie can outspeed and OHKO Gliscor with their Water-type STAB moves. However, they must be wary of switching into Earthquake, as it removes a hefty chunk of HP. They are both also susceptible to being worn down by Toxic, unless Starmie choose Natural Cure as its ability. Primarina performs similarly with the exception of being unable to reliably switch into Earthquake, as it is slower than Gliscor and 2HKOed after Stealth Rock.

**Faster Stallbreakers**: Mew

**Bulky Water-types**: Suicune and Slowbro are able to beat Gliscor one-on-one thanks to taking little damage from Earthquake and doing respectable damage with Scald. However, they must be wary of the combination of Toxic and Taunt, as when badly poisoned and unable to use recovery or boosting moves, they are liable to being stalled out while Gliscor keeps itself alive through consequetive uses of Roost.

**Dragon-types**: Calm Mind Latias is immune to Earthquake and can use Gliscor as setup bait. It can also keep itself healthy with Roost, but it must be wary of losing too much health to Toxic. Taunt Hydreigon is also immune to Earthquake and can prevent Gliscor from using Toxic and Roost. Kyurem can OHKO with a STAB Ice Beam and avoids the 2HKO from Earthquake even after Stealth Rock damage.

**Ice Fang Gliscor**: Opposing Gliscor with Ice Fang are immune to Earthquake and Toxic and will win one-on-one thanks to having higher damage output.

**Set Alterations**: Many of the Pokemon Gliscor is used to check can utilize special coverage, items, or EV spreads to lure it. Notable examples are Hidden Power Ice Raikou and Clefable with and offensive EV spread and a Life Orb.

So, I'm not QC but honestly Swords Dance deserves its own set. It is as dangerous to stall as the first set, and it's actually a good way to pressure balance squads as they have to rely on Suicune or Starmie to wear it down, as special wallbreakers can't do too much against it and physical wallbreakers such as Krookodile and Cobalion are defeated 1v1.
