    Introduction

Well, I first need to spend a couple of word about this... along with a friend of mine, we have decided to create a power ranger-based team. What started just for fun turned out to be quite an enjoyable team, not too bad at all; we would like to have it rated, and that's your cue.

    The Team ( Go,Go Rangers!)

    Analysis

    Blue Ranger (Empoleon)
    @ Leftovers
    Trait: Torrent
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Scald
    - Roar
    - Ice Beam

As everybody having watched the very first Mighty Morhpin' Power Rangers series can recall, Blue Rangers was the 'brains' of the team.
Following this consideration, our blue 'mon has two main goals: creating tools which help his teammates (laying stealth rock) and gathering info, or thwarting enemy plans (hazing). The other two moves ensure it has a good attacking coverage, at very least inflicting some reasonabile damage to the enemy switch-in going to take care of the situation.

    Green Ranger (Gallade)
    @ Leftovers
    Trait: Steadfast
    EVs: 240 HP / 40 Atk / 216 SDef / 12 Spd
    Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
    - Bulk Up
    - Drain Punch
    - Ice Punch
    - Shadow Sneak

Our green fellow, Gallade, follows the tradition of the Green Ranger as a very skilled and fierce fighter. His moveset consists of four very varied treats, allowing him to efficiently deal with a lot of situations: a set-up move, a good STAB with which he can pack a good punch while restoring health, a secondary move to efficiently hit various threats (particularly those pesky flyers) and a priority attack which doubles over as coverage on the otherwise immune Ghost-type which would otherwise love to set up on him.
With 240 EVs in HP, Our Green Teammate reaches the point of maximum Leftovers recovery without wasting EVs. The 216 EVs in Special Defense allow Gallade to tank special hits, and the 40 Evs in Attack, give him a never useless offensive boost.

    Red Ranger (Bisharp)
    @Air Balloon/Life Orb
    Trait: Defiant
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Swords Dance
    - Sucker Punch
    - Iron Head
    - Substitute

ike any bolsterous hero, our Red Ranger (Bisharp, and the one 'mon which inspired us to make the team) is very defiant of danger; not only he carries a strong ability (Defiant) which prevents its sweep from being hampered by Intimidator such as Gyarados, which would otherwise happily wall the set without excessive problems and setup a sweep of its own.
Substitute is there to prevent statusers from inflicting paralysis or, worse yet, burn, and to allow a better time trying to find the niche needed to setup SD and really start the fun!

    Ranger's Mascot (Sigilyph)
    @ Flame Orb
    Trait: Magic Guard
    EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Stored Power
    - Cosmic Power
    - Roost
    - Psycho Shift

Every team needs to have a pet or a mascot, and that's where our cosmic bird gets its time to be a part of the coolest team ever!
Sporting good annoying capabilities as well as decent bulk and setup potential, Sigilyph easily can come in and take every single bit of status and/or volatile status and even return some with love to its enemies!
His main job is to get on and fight those annoying statusers like Jellicent, Ferrothorn and their kind in order to relieve pressure on the team - a work which it seems to do rather well.

    Megazord (Golurk)
    @ Choice Band
    Trait: Iron Fist
    EVs: 208 HP / 252 Atk / 48 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge
    - Hammer Arm
    - Shadow Punch

Sturdier even more than it was powerful, Megazord embodied the strong willpower of the combined Rangers and their united strength, ruling the battlefiled with an iron fist. Our Golurk does the same... well, it's not five Pokémon merged in one, but the visual similarities are just so striking that one cannot pass them as being casual. Golurk's main goal is to be a bulky fighter which can get some (admittedly hard) blows before falling to the enemy; it has a good set of immunities and resistances which can come in handy to cover other teammates, and ensure better chances of fighting.
And Well, it's a damned Mecha.

    Dragonzord (Haxorus)
    @ Life Orb
    Trait: Mold Breaker
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Dragon Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Outrage
    - Taunt

Ahh, the mighty Dragonzord - the ultimate weapon of the Rangers, able to tip over the advantage in battle even during the most strenuous confrontations. The spirit of that mechanical wonder is preserved by Haxorus, while mantaining an astounding level of combat prowess.
Dragon Dance and Taunt combined open up much needed setting up space, before unleashing a quick row of powerful Earthquakes or Outrages in order to open up holes or, even better, ensure a quick sweep.

A Smile for the Camera, Please.
