Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Hi everyone, sorry about the delay. Hopefully this battle will go more smoothly from now on. Surely it can't get worse?
Anyways, the leader sends back out Abomasnow, as well as a fresh Ludicolo. Ludicolo is quite annoying, but it doesn't have a particularly great matchup against any of the remaining Pokemon. Still, I'm sure it'll be able to pull its weight. Rainman counters this by recalling Cyclohm and sending out... Delibird? I guess it fares better against Abomasnow, but it doesn't seem like Abomasnow is really the issue here? Whatever. Abomasnow starts off by using Protect to shield itself, which makes sense because it's about one hit away from kicking it. Togekiss still is cooling down from earlier, but Delibird decides to attack Ludicolo with Megahorn? Which means it's obviously Aurumoth, but I have to pretend it's Delibird until the end of the round because ASB Illusion is silly. Regardless, Ludicolo is having none of this, and slams back with Counter that does an utterly ridiculous amount of damage. Hail then hits everyone aside from Abomasnow, including "Delibird."
Togekiss gets ready to finish Abomasnow off, however Ludicolo stops that with a quick Fake Out. What a team player. "Delibird" isn't stopped though, and tries to attack Abomasnow with Bug Buzz. BUT, Abomasnow can't seem to hear the attack and isn't damaged. Abomasnow then unleashes a mighty Blizzard+Blizzard combination that does a lot of damage to Togekiss and a pretty decent amount to "Delibird" as well. Yikes.
Either way, Togekiss finally gets to act, dealing about 100000% to Abomasnow with Fire Blast. Abomasnow is knocked out! "Delibird" goes in for another Megahorn, but I think we all know where this is going... Yep, it ends up eating another Counter from Ludicolo. All of our eyes collectively adjust, and it was Aurumoth the whole time!!!! SO SURPRISING!!! Aurumoth is knocked out!.
Neither the leader nor Rainman is in a great position, but Rainman looks to be slightly ahead here. While Togekiss is certainly almost donezo, he has a spare Pokemon left as opposed to just the 2 the leader is left with. And most importantly, he is up to order second now...
Action 1: Abomasnow used Protect!
-7 energy
Togekiss is cooling down! Delibird used Megahorn (Ludicolo)!
Every fiber of my being is telling me to go with Pyroak.
But again Cyclohm shits all over Pyroak. Soo...
Come Roserade with (rose incense ffs) Expert Belt
Roserade: Sludge Bomb (Togekiss) - Sludge Bomb (Togekiss) - Sludge Bomb (Togekiss)
[ONCE] IF Flying Typed damaging COMBO OR Ice Typed damaging COMBO AND Roserade is the sole target AND not A1 AND by Delibird THEN Protect IF Togekiss is under P/E when Roserade is to Sludge Bomb it THEN Redirect towards Delibird [KOSUB] IF Togekiss is KO'd THEN Redirect towards Delibird Ludicolo: Ice Beam (Togekiss) - Scald (Togekiss) - Ice Beam (Togekiss) IF Togekiss is under P/E when Ludicolo is to Ice Beam it AND Ludicolo doesn't have a sub up THEN 15hp substitute and push back [ONCE] IF Flying Typed damaging COMBO AND by Delibird AND Ludicolo is the sole target THEN Protect IF Delibird is under P/E AND Ludicolo is to target it AND Togekiss is KO'd THEN uh Synthesis? [KOSUB] IF Togekiss is KO'd THEN Scald (Delibird)
get some moves on Ludicolo for heaven's sake -_-. At least Surf and Blizzard.
Rainman sends in Delibird for real now, while the gym leader opts to use Roserade as his final Pokemon. I would have thought he'd go to Pyroak, but Roserade makes sense as well. Rainman seems to want to end the match quickly, as he orders Togekiss to suicide itself using Extreme Speed+Sky Attack to take out a large portion of Ludicolo's remaining HP, while Delibird follows up with Ice Shard to finish Ludicolo off. Both Togekiss and Ludicolo are knocked out! Roserade hasn't given up yet though, and attacks Delibird with Sludge Bomb.
As the only two Pokemon left on the field, Roserade and Delibird exchange strikes. Roserade is at an obvious disadvantage here, as while its Sludge Bomb deals decent damage, Delibird easily outdamages it with Blizzard. The hail that's still falling down only worsens the gap.
In a similar exchange, Roserade strikes with Sludge Bomb again. This time the attack manages to poison Delibird. Not to be outdone however, Delibird rams into Roserade with a Sky Attack that scores a critical hit! Roserade buckles, though it isn't out yet. Just outnumbered and way behind on HP. This next round is basically a formality, but at least the match is almost over.
Action 1: Togekiss became cloaked in a harsh light! Togekiss used Extreme Speed+Sky Attack (Ludicolo)!
(18+3+3+3+(1.5-4.5))*1.5 = 36 damage (Ludicolo) RNG Roll (Effect) [<=6000 Effect]: 4745/10000 (Effect)
-23 energy Togekiss fainted!
its time to end this
Cyclohm back out (dur)
Cyclohm
Hurricane-->Blizzard-->hurricane (all at roserade)
If Roserade is under the effects of a P/E move, Use chill first instance, dragon dance second instance
Delibird
Fake Out-->Ice Shard-->Ice Beam (all at roserade)
If Roserade is under the effects of a P/E move, Use double team (2 clones) first instance, Hail second instance pushing actions back each time
Roserade tried to valiantly endure the attacks of Rainman's Pokemon... but it doesn't know Endure yet! So it dies. That's game, Rainman gets his badge, I get UC that I totally don't deserve most of, whatever~
