Moves

U-turn allows Greninja to pivot, taking advantage of the many switches that it forces. Gunk Shot hits Fairy-types such as Tapu Bulu, Mega Gardevoir, and Tapu Koko. Ice Beam allows Greninja to hit Dragon-, Flying-, and Ground-types such as Salamence, Garchomp, and Landorus. Dark Pulse allows Greninja to hit Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Gengar and Slowbro. Hydro Pump can be used to hit Rock- and Fire-types such as Mega Diancie and Heatran. Rock Slide is an option to revenge kill +1 Volcarona and Mega Charizard Y, but outside of that it doesn't hit anything notable that Ice Beam doesn't. Lastly, Hidden Power Fire hits Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn, but it is extremely weak without Life Orb.

Set Details
========

Maximum Special Attack investment allows Greninja to hit as hard as possible. Maximum Speed investment, a Naive nature, and a Choice Scarf ensure that Greninja is as fast as possible, outspeeding threats such as Choice Scarf Victini, Tapu Koko, and Choice Scarf Gengar. A Naive nature is chosen over a Hasty nature to better take on priority from the likes of Bullet Punch Scizor and Extreme Speed Dragonite. Protean allows Greninja to change its type to the move it is using, effectively giving Greninja STAB on every attack.

Usage Tips
========

Greninja should primarily be used as a revenge killer, as with a Choice Scarf it is able to revenge kill threats such as Adamant Sand Rush Excadrill in sand and Tapu Koko, but it can also be used as a late-game sweeper because of its decent offensive stats. Try to bluff a non-Choice Scarf Greninja for as long as possible because it may allow Greninja to KO threats such as Choice Scarf Tapu Bulu and Tapu Koko. On a predicted switch it is usually best to use U-turn, as it allows Greninja to bring its teammates in safely. Use pivots such as Volt Switch Lanturn to bring in Greninja safely so that it can revenge kill threats. Be careful when locking Greninja into a move, as certain Pokemon such as Mew and Volcarona can utilize it as setup bait if it's locked into the wrong move. Avoid status, specifically poison and paralysis, as poison leaves Greninja open to priority, while paralysis leaves it easily revenge killed. Use Protean to change Greninja's typing for defensive purposes; for example, if Greninja cannot OHKO a Grass-type with Ice Beam, it is best to use Gunk Shot, as Poison-types resist Grass-type attacks. Avoid taking unnecessary hits and switching Greninja in on entry hazards, as it is extremely frail and needs to be at high HP to take strong priority moves such as Bullet Punch from Scizor and Extreme Speed from Dragonite.

Team Options
========

Water teams appreciate Greninja because of its high Speed tier allowing it to revenge kill a plethora of threats. Toxapex can set up Toxic Spikes, making it a bit easier for Greninja to revenge kill certain threats while also making it a potent late-game sweeper. Toxapex also has Haze, which allows it to stop, setup sweepers such as Mega Scizor and Volcarona. Swampert and Empoleon can set up Stealth Rock, enabling Greninja to KO threats such as Dragonite and Dugtrio. Empoleon and Mantine can remove entry hazards with Defog, making Greninja a little less vulnerable to priority from the likes of Scizor and Dragonite. Keldeo can wallbreak with Choice Specs, breaking threats such as Chansey and Ferrothorn for Greninja while Greninja can revenge kill threats such as Tapu Koko and Choice Scarf Tapu Bulu. Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados can eliminate Psychic-types such as Slowbro and Mew, allowing Greninja to run Hydro Pump over Dark Pulse. Gyarados can KO Fighting- and Grass-types such as Keldeo and Mega Venusaur that Greninja cannot KO. Manaphy with Tail Glow can break threats such as Mega Venusaur and Zapdos that Greninja cannot easily KO. Lanturn and Mega Swampert can take Electric-type attacks targeted at Greninja while Lanturn can also provide Heal Bell and Volt Switch, allowing Greninja to be played a bit more recklessly. Mega Swampert has excellent wallbreaking capabilities, being able to break threats such as Magnezone and Alolan Golem, while Greninja can KO threats such as Tapu Bulu and Mega Gardevoir. Suicune and Mega Slowbro appreciate Greninja's ability to revenge kill threats such as Tapu Bulu and Tapu Koko, giving them more setup opportunities. Choice Specs Volcanion can break threats such as Zapdos and Ferrothorn, while Greninja can KO threats such as Landorus and Excadrill.

Hey, not QC, some suggestions:
"A Hasty nature is chosen over a Naive nature to better take on priority from the likes of Bullet Punch Scizor and Extreme Speed Dragonite." - this is supposed to be Naïve over Hasty, right?
"Toxapex can set up Toxic Spikes for Greninja making it a bit easier for Greninja to revenge kill certain threats while also making it a potent late-game sweeper. It also has Haze which allows it to stop set up sweepers such as Mega Pinsir and Volcarona from setting up." Perhaps change Pinsir to Scizor, as it's more common in this meta I've found?

Mega Pinsir is more common than Mega Scizor on Bug so I'm not sure where this is coming from, but Mega Scizor is probably a better example though for what Haze beats.

- Like BPGXMG said, this should say "A Naive nature is chosen over a Hasty nature..."

Usage Tips:
* Primarily use Greninja as a revenge killer as with a Choice Scarf it is able to revenge kill threats such as Adamant Excadrill and Tapu Koko, but it can be used as a late-game sweeper because of its decent offensive stats.
- Specify that it's outspeeding Ada Excadrill in sand w/ sand rush
- Probably add in being wary to switch into hazards as you need to preserve its hp (goes along with the last sentence in this section)

Rest of it looks good, QC 2/3

Ice Beam allows Greninja to hit Dragon-, Flying-, and Ground-types such as Salamence, Garchomp, and Landorus super effectively. Dark Pulse allows Greninja to hit hits Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Gengar and Slowbro super effectively. Try to bluff all-out attacking a non-Choice Scarf Greninja (technically, this set is also all-out attacking) for as long as possible because it may allow Greninja to KO threats such as Choice Scarf Tapu Bulu and Tapu Koko. On a predicted double switch (not on regular switches?) it is usually best to U-turn, as it allows Greninja to bring its teammates in safely. Use pivots such as Volt Switch Lanturn to bring in Greninja safely so that it can revenge kill threats.
