Chandelure [Evoker] (M)

Dianran is a fire genasi, a descendant of a genie and a human, a efreeti. And that's never been good enough for her. She believes that true geniehood is within reach, within the grasp of someone with genie blood, and is determined to work her way to it.
She summoned a fire elemental in this world, binding it to her service- a Litwick she named Evoker. She maintained this ownership of Evoker as he grew into a Chandelure, as any good efreeti should have an army of lesser elementals at their disposal. Evoker yearns for freedom, never agreeing to this servitude, and serves with a resigned silence.

Stage 3/5

Types: Ghost/Fire

STAB; cannot be prevented from switching via any means (e.g. Trapping Moves, Partial Trapping Moves, Shadow Tag, Arena Trap, Ingrain, etc.). Moves that trap their target will still have all other effects on a Ghost-type, such as the damage from partial trapping moves and the healing from Ingrain.

Fire STAB; immune to burn status.

Abilities:

Flash Fire / Flame Body / Infiltrator

Flash Fire: This Pokemon thrives in high temperatures, and takes the energy of any opposing fire attack, nullifies the damage, and uses the additional power to boost its own fire attack's Base Attack Power by three (3).

Flame Body: This Pokemon's external temperature is kept at such a high level that any contact attack used on this Pokemon has a 30% chance of burning the opponent.

Infiltrator: Through a combination of speed and cunning, this Pokemon easily circumvents the effects of Aurora Veil, Light Screen, Mist, Reflect, Safeguard, and Substitute with all of its attacks.

Types: Normal

STAB

Abilities:

Soundproof / Scrappy (unlocked)

Soundproof: Pokemon with this ability emit their own powerful electrostatic or sound-dampening field, making them immune to moves tagged as #Sound other than an ally's or their own Heal Bell.

Scrappy: This Pokemon's Normal and Fighting attacks carry a special signature that can damage Ghosts.

Krilowatt [Malpeza Salikoko - Light Shrimp (Esperanto)] (Female)

Trainer name: Julius
Malpeza talks with a bubbly voice and works well with Deux, although not so well with Dos. She's always ready to go hard or go home.

Julius is a more reserved fellow, but matches Malpeza's dedication and spirit.

Stage 3/5
Types: Electric/Water

STAB; immune to paralysis status.

STAB; no additional effects

Abilities:
Trace / Magic Guard / Minus (H)

Trace:
When entering into battle, this Pokemon can copy an ability on one of its opponents for 6 EN. This effect only triggers if the ability to be copied is specified when the Pokemon is sent out. When facing a pokemon with Trace, the Player sending out last must send out the pokemon without orders, in order to give the opponent the opportunity to trigger trace and any orders eventually given will be ignored until given the opportunity for trace to be triggered. The ability remains on the Pokemon for six (6) actions.

Command: Activate Trace (target ability) - 5 En - Replace Trace with the target Ability for six (6) actions. When the copied ability fades, the user regains Trace.

Magic Guard: The Pokemon is endowed with a magical barrier of protection. It takes no direct HP damage from Entry Hazards, Weather, Leech Seed, Poisoning, Burn, Curse, and the ongoing effect of Partial Trapping moves. The Pokemon does not take Recoil from its own attacks (except for Struggle). It can still attack itself in confusion, and will still take damage from it. Toxic still increases in damage each round, although if Magic Guard is in effect the Pokemon will not suffer any damage. Life Orb recoil is negated.

Minus: This Pokemon possesses a negative electrical charge. When a partner Pokemon with Plus or Minus is on the field or if this Pokemon has Plus, this Pokemon's special attacks have their Base Attack Power increased by three (3). If this Pokemon has both Plus and Minus, this Pokemon's special attacks have their Base Attack Power increased by five (5) instead.

:sm/kangaskhan:

"Oh, that does not seem like something I want to order against. Specifically when I'm using Cinderace. Well, I don't know a lot about Krilowatt... aside from the fact that it's movepool is surprisingly shocking - seriously, completely walled by a Shedinja of all things. That all being said, Kangaskhan w/Kangaskhanite looks like she'd have far more fun here. Switch phase initiated!"

I'm not sure when Mega Evolve is declared nowadays and handbook is appropriately wool filled - so I'll declare it here and in my main order set :u

J edit: Mega evolution is in orders, that much hasn't changed :p

This round, our battlers decide to trade powerful attacks, with Dogfish gaining the upper hand and furthering his HP advantage. Will Florina be able to come back from this deficit, or will Dogfish be able to ride the advantage to victory?

"So, Krilowatt has all of about one known out to the mess it's currently in. Shame it's a damned strong out!"

Dizzy Punch ~ Strength ~ Return
IF Krilowatt is to use Endure THEN begin the action string Rest ~ Snore ~ Chill
IF Krilowatt is under the effect of a Protective/Evasive action when you are to act THEN Chill AND push back

"Time for our signature move!"
:bw/krilowatt: "Seriously? Water Gun is our signature move? That's disgusting, Julius."

This round, Kangaskhan had very little change in its HP or EN, while Krilowatt is down to single digits of both. Krilowatt may be faster now, but things are still looking very dire for Florina Liastacia, since once Krilowatt goes down she'll be down to her last pokemon, while Dogfish44 still has a half HP Cinderace, a one third HP Kangaskhan, and a completely fresh mon to choose! Will Florina be able to mount a miraculous comeback, or will Dogfish close it out?

"Hmm... yep, this looks like it uses up our last reserves of EN, but it also should deal like 70ish damage. Assuming I understand Combo Energy Requirements. Which is admittedly a giant question mark right now."

Circle Throw ~ Hammer Arm ~ Combination: Sucker Punch + Reversal
IF Exploud's Focus Blast A2 misses THEN replace A3 with Reversal

This round, Kangaskhan spends the last of her EN doing as much damage to Exploud as possible, while also phasing her. This puts Exploud at very low HP and leaves Florina with a 1 HP Krilowatt on the field, while Dogfish still has a half HP Cinderace and an entire fresh mon to choose! I don't think its possible for Florina to win this at this point without several major mistakes from Dogfish, so let's see how it gets closed out!
