Does Gyarados learn Crunch now? It would make sense for GF to give to Gyarados one decent move to take advantage of its MEvo Dark-typing, as they already gave to Ampharos Dragon Pulse to take advantage of its MEvo's Dragon-typing.

Looking unto that right now.

38 - Rain Dance
41 - Hydro Pump
44 - Dragon Dance
47 - Hyper Beam

Nothing new in Move Relearner. Will keep posted. Nothing new 48-57.

Raised one up to 57. Unless it gets Crunch later in the game via levels somehow, looks like Crunch Gyarados is currently a bust.

Which makes its Mega evolution type change really suck.

EDIT: I will try to 60. I know Gamefaqs isn't a reliable source, but alas...

I raised a Gyarados to level 100. There weren't any new moves past hyper beam at level 47, so it looks like crunch Gyarados is a bust.

Incidentally, its level-up movepool is the exact same as in gen 5.

Minor thing but Magikarp learns Flail at level 30. Very unlikely to get anything after that as I leveled one to 49.
