Help! My Wii won't work!

So this afternoon I was playing SSBB and all of a sudden my Wii froze. I took the power plug out of the back, put it back in and turned my Wii back on...but nothing comes up. The screen stays blank! The green power light is on, and the screen changes color (as it always does when i turn my Wii on) so I know it senses the connection. I have taken the power plug out of the wii, and my surge protector, and it has been sitting there for about 2 hours and it still won't work! Any suggestions? Should I just call Nintendo and send it in for a new one, or is there a way to fix it? Please Help!
