HGSS Sprites Update = No more boxes!?

GAH! I don't know how, or why, but I'm unable to use boxes now! It started right when I added the HGSS sprite update... which didn't even work... I click on open box on the drop-down menu in team builder, and nothing happens. I've tried re-installing, I've tried removing the HGSS update, nothing. It's been this way for a couple of months now, and I've tried everything I can think of to try and fix boxes...

Help... the fate of my world depends on it...
