Don't mind me posting here. I think it's better that I do so I don't forget to check up on the match.

Alright, Scyther start off by using Brick Break, Vaccum Wave, and Brick Break on Geodude. Substitute in Counter if he uses Stone Edge.
Metapod, use a String Shot+String shot combo on Geodude to hopefully bind him up and prevent motion for a little while. Or anything really. It's better than anything else you can do. Harden with any remaining actions.

Orc (Charles), start by Protecting Scyther's Brick Break. Then, hit Scyther with Rock Blast and Rock Throw.

Ziggy, we need to make sure that Orc takes the least amount of damage possible. Let's start by hurting Scyther with a Headbutt while Orc protects himself. Then, use Charm follwed by another Headbutt both also on Scyther.

VS

Holblaph's Team:

Zigzagoon l Geodude
HP: 90 l 90
Energy: 100 l 100
Status: N/A l N/A

Late one night at the ASB arena, two friends enter the arena, ready to due battle. Choosing to one use two Pokemon, they send there's out.

Rediamond goes with a bug theme and sends out his newly evolved Metapod, and Scyther for this battle.

While Hoblaph sends out his Geodude and Zigzagoon.

Wanting his Geodude to take as little damage as possible, Hoblaph quickly commands it to use Protect. And it wasn't a moment too soon, with Rediamond having his Scyther try to hit it with a super effective Brick Break, but it can't break through the shield. In retaliation Hoblaph has his Zigzagoon use Headbutt to finally have some damage dealt in this battle. To show off his Metapod's skill, Rediamond has it fire off a String Shot, that has Twice as much as it normally would, aimed at Hoblaph's Geodude, but yet again his opponent's move is hindered at the protect that was thrown up at the beginning of the battle.

Wanting to show he's still in this battle Rediamond has his Scyther use Vacuum Wave on Geodude. Deciding to try a different tactic, Hoblaph has his Zigzagoon Charm the enemy Scyther, making it think twice about it's attacks. With Metapod having to cool down after the last attack, Hoblaph has his Geodude Blast Rocks at Rediamond's Scyther, hitting it 3 times.

For the last actions of the round Rediamond has his Scyther hit Geodude with Brick Break, but with it's lowered attack, it doesn't do much damage. Once again Hoblaph has his Zigzagoon use Headbutt on Scyther, and one can't help but think, is that poor thing gunna end up with a concussion if it keeps it up? But back to the battle, with his Metapod ready to do battle again, Rediamond has it prepare for some damage and has it Harden its shell, boosting its defense. To end the round, Hoblaphs Geodude decides to change it up a little (not really) and starts to Throw Rocks at the poor Scyther, instead of blasting them.

Good work guys!

Now, Ziggy, use Charm on Scyther again, followed by two Headbutts. IF, however, Scyther has fainted by this time, THEN transfer the remaining attacks onto Metapod.

Charles, blast some more rocks at Scyther--that seemed to work well. Rock Blast x3!

Round 2

levren apparently was kicked out of the ASB arena for the time being so hi. :D

Zigzagoon moves in first and Charms Scyther with love, lowering his Attack by a truckload. Metapod leaps onto Zigzagoon and chews on him with his pathetic Bug Bite. Geodude launches 2 boulders courtesy of Rock Blast at Scyther, which deals major damage still! Scyther is a bit too cool to die though and Counters the hit right back at Geodude for massive damage!

Fearing his end, Scyther flings a Vacuum Wave at Geodude, though to little effect. Zigzagoon comes from behind and rams into Scyther with a Headbutt, KOing him at the spot! Seeing only one target left, Geodude uses his natural instinct to target Metapod with 5 consecutive shots of Rock Blast! Metapod endures the shots with ease and uses a Super String Shot to tie Geodude up. This seems to have immobilized the rock monster for one action while slowing him down!

Now the fastest, Zigzagoon wags his tail and finally gets into Headbutting mood! He slams his head into Metapod's hard, cold shell, though it doesn't do too much damage. Geodude sits there stuck like a bug in a web while Metapod attempts to cool his system down.

Round 3

yo sup dudes

Zigzagoon goes in and Headbutts Metapod as the cocoon latches himself onto the raccoon with a nasty Bug Bite. By then, Geodude was preparing a deadly weapon - Rock Throw! The rocks crush the little bug, causing him to squirm like a bug. It's not a bug right?

Once again, Zigzagoon smashes Metapod via Headbutt and Metapod Bug Bites his butt. Geodude delivers 3 stones of Rock Blast, each of which crush the Metapod with ease. Crush, as in faints!

Squishy bugs.
