I finally decided to write one of these. *Warstory* (SePh258 vs Tacho)

Hey everybody! SePh258 here, and after about 20+ PM’s of people asking for warstories, I decided to finally write one.

On Friday I PM’d Jibaku for a battle so I could write a story, but unfortunately he didn't finish his training:/. Coincidently, I received an IM from tacho today whom just beat Cloud. He was bored since he didn’t have the English version and decided to challenge me. “Oh what a perfect time to write a warstory!” I said to myself.

I got on wifi, the screen flashes, my heart is pounding since I don’t have a true team set in stone, so I decided to gather the best team I could in 5 minutes. At this point, I was hoping he didn't EQ spam or have starmie lol.

Well, I think he has HP ice, so I’ll switch…..

YES!!!!! I can’t help but feel bad that I’m getting pretty lucky this match, but atleast I predicted correctly.

Well, that’s not good. I could let Rhyperior die, hoping he misses. Or I could switch to blissey hoping he doesn’t hit 2x in a row. I can’t switch in mence because 2 focus bombs might kill it via CG. Either way, this isn’t good. *sigh*

Ok, I know he has wil o wisp, pain split and now shadow punch. His last move is either shadow punch, an elemental punch, night shade, or some tech move I don’t know about.

Knowing it’s moveset, I don’t see it as much of a threat. I better make sure to 1hko though since life orb + flare blitz will take it’s toll after a pain split.

Yay wish mence! Infernape is at full HP and ready to sweep. I think he’s probably going to pain split….note, this was a bad prediction on my part, and shadow punch could really do some damage if I’m trying to sweep. I’m worried for my little fire monkey right now. I really wish wifi had an undo move button.

I don't understand why people are interested in Focus Blast since it's really just Blizzard, and noone ever used Blizzard. And you see here that it literally cost this guy the match.

Uhhhhh, do you know what you're talking about? Since vs blizzard, you have a move called ice beam. Focus bomb has no such move. If gamefreak made an attack with 100% accuracy, 95 base power that's a special fighting move, it would be all over the place. Kazam needs it since it can't use HP fighting if it has HP ice.

Well, Gamefreak did invent Aura Sphere, but gave it to too few Pokemon.

Cool match, though. The turning point was when he predicted you'll attack after your first Infernape Swords Dance, and so Pain Splitted instead of attacking you directly, allowing you a second SD.

Some guy on sppf had one. I don't think it's hacked, but you can never be too sure with those guys. And I don't remember the PM. I deleted all my messages, so I'll take your word for it. EDITED warstory btw.

I took a guess. Most, if not all heracross's are CB'd because of the pursuit thing. You can do the same thing with the scarf, but it doesn't hit blissey for a **** load like the CB. Overall, CB is just better and more widely used.

414 Atk CB Megahorn + CH = 85%-99% damage to Max HP/Max Def Relaxed Swampert. Of course, not many people run this but they'd run close.

EDIT: 416 Atk. (I kinda assumed you had 414 lol). 344-404 damage according to NB. There's a slight difference in the DP formula so I guess it would do 1 or 2 lower damage and Pert would survive

My Rhyperior had CB btw, so run the numbers on that too while you're at it. Jibaku, if you want to base your team off of the one you see here, you are more than welcome to. This isn't the team I use at the moment as shown in the first post.

EDIT: ok, but it's 416 attack, not 414, which is 624 with the CB.
