I think the one on the right is Parasol Lady, while the left is Aroma Lady.

It looks like you can't be a Female Psychic and you can't be a Youngster. You also can't be either of those last two.

This just doesn't seem possible. Having never battled a Ruin Maniac before at that point in the game, it was the first choice on my list as I arrived in Oreburgh. Additionally, after making a good deal of progress into the game, my choices are still the same.
