The pig elephant hit the field with a crash and a trumpet. Rocks tore into his hide, but he ignored them and stomped forwards with gradually increasing speed and ferocity. The challenger responded by attempting to strike Lapras while the field was clear, and Bronzong's psychic did a number on it, drawing down its already low health. But it didn't quite take the plesiosaur out. And an almost-fainted plesiosaur is rather different from a fainted one.
Kitsunoh attacked in parallel, summoning ghostly energy around itself and lunging at the Mamoswine's legs to disrupt its charge. In fact, the ghost got right under it and lashed out... only to be deflected off of panels of light. Lapras glowed faintly as the attack connected and Mamoswine stomped down a second later, grinding the Kitsunoh down beneath layers of protective shields and the weight of a giant mammoth. As he struggled under pressure from above, the earth itself struck from below and began tearing into Kitsunoh's flesh, knocking him to the brink of defeat... and stopped. Mamoswine staggered away as Lapras' Protect failed and the effort became too much.
But Kitsunoh's relief was short lived—Lapras blasted him into oblivion a second later with a weak but focused jet. His vengeance, too, was cut short. Bronzong glowed and a slew of leaves rose from the earth, wrapping around Lapras and quickly whisking her away from the arena, his cries growing ever fainter.
