I just had a bit of an epiphany; It's a known fact that the old Gameboys were equipped with an infrared sensor for use in select games, and if I'm not mistaken, Pokemon was one of those games. What if Gamefreak were to add back-compatibility between the new Black and White games--which will have an IR sensor of their own--and the old gameboy adventures? Would such back-compatibility be possible, and if so, how would it be achieved?
