Hey everyone this is Riley 15 bringing you my first RMT ever. I have decided to show u my most successful NU team and ask for some help and changes to strengthen this team even more. So here we go!

Haunter @ Focus sash
Trait: Levitate
EVS: 4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
Moves:
-Shadow Ball
-Sludge Wave
-Giga Drain
-Hidden Power Fighting
this Hauter really worked out for me as a led because of its awesome move pool and great spA and Spe. on of the reasons it is a good lead is it has 2x and attacks against entry hazard leads such as bastiodon, golem and sometimes siesmitoad. It also can deal alot of damage to Ninjask when it tries to set up and shuts down alot of the pokemon it passes to because of the sashAnother reason I usualy lead with it is because it i send it out when rocks are up the break my sash (unless i Giga Drain somthing).

Wormadam @ Lefties
Trait: Anticipation
EVS: 252 HP, 252 Att, 4 Def.
Nature: Adamant/Impish
Moves:
-Earthquake
-Rock Blast
-Sucker Punch
Stealth Rock
Wormadam is usualy what i send out when haunter dies so i can get my rocks up (if they aren't yet) and if a pokemon is at pretty low health so i can sucker punch. It's also a great counter to ninjask because of Rock Blast. It can also take a physical hit I need it to if my main physical wall is dead of weak to that type

Alomomola @ Lefties
Trait: Regenerator
252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Att.
Nature: Impish
Moves
-Waterfall
-Toxic
-Wish
-Protect
Well its an Alomomola everyone knows what it does. If you don't well it can take any physical hits like a BOSS and can recover with wish and also wish pass

Hypno @ Lefties
Trait: Insomnia
252 HP, 4 Def, 252 SpD
Nature: Calm
Moves:
-Seismic Toss
-Thunder Wave
-Wish
-Protect
I chose Hypno as my Special wall because it has accass to wish protect to gain health and wish pass also he also has a great typing because there aren't alot of dark and ghost types in NU and most of them are physical attackers.Another thing that is Great about Hypno is it Has access to seismic toss so it need 0 attack/SpA investment. One thing i would like all of your opinions on is if i should change Thunder wave with Toxic. But all in all Hypno is a Great Special wall and to alot of hits way better then i thought it would have!

Skuntank @ Black Sludge
Trait: Aftermath
EVS: 252 HP, 252 Att, 4 Def.
Nature: Adamant
Moves:
-Sucker Punch
-Pursuit
-Poison Jab
-Fire Blast
Skuntank is my physical attacker and can take a hit occasionally. it carries Sucker Punch to knock out fast pokes with the priority and pursuit for trapping pokemon with low Def. like Haunter, Kadabra etc. it also carries Poison Jab just another stab attack and its Last move is Fire Blast which i put on just because there wasn't really mant attacks left but if you guys find anything interesting let me know.

Duosion @ Eviolite
Trait: Magic Guard
EVS: 252 Def, 4 SpA, 252 SpA
Nature: Bold
Moves:
-Psychic
-Signal Beam
-Calm Mind
-Recover
Duosion is in my opinion one of the best Special Attackers in NU and with the Eviolite I think it is To good for NU. This is a basic Duosion but i have changed the EVS just a bit Basic Duosions Have the 252 HP but I put these EVS into SpD to give it just a little bit more bulk in that stat. every thing else is the same but i'll explain anyway so i have psychic as my main stab move calm min to boost my SpA and SpD more recover to recover health and signal beam to give me more coverage

So that's my team hope u like it and feel free to reply about the thing I asked and what ever you think would help the Team, Thanks for reading

Hey Riley 15, welcome to the Smogon Forums! Your team needs a bit of help because it is not capable of dealing with most of the new threats in the meta and it doesn't show any decent defensive synergy, hopefully you will apply the suggestions I'm going to make to make your team a lot better.

Your Haunter spread needs to be worked on. I suggest giving it a Life Orb and using the moves Sludge Bomb, Hidden Power Ground and Destiny Bond over Sludge Wave, Giga Drain and HP [fighting]. Sludge Bomb may have a lower base power, but it has a greater chance of poisoning the target, and the power drop isn't noticeable anyway. Hidden Power Ground gives off better coverage compared to Giga Drain or HP [Fighting]. Destiny Bond is a really good move on Haunter, as it helps take down Musharna or Skuntank which your current Haunter set may has trouble with.

Wormadam is not very good, its stats are subpar and it doesn't help your team a whole lot. I suggest using Golem over it as it learns exactly the same moves but is way more useful in terms of walling stuff and actually doing damage. EV Spread: 200 HP / 252 Atk / 56 Spe.

Alomomola is good, but it doesn't really support your team too much since you already have a WishPasser. I think having a revenge killer in Alo's place would do the job. Primeape is a great addition to your team as it can gain momentum with U-Turn as well as firing off Close Combats which your team really appreciates because Pokemon like Regirock or Piloswine can damage your team badly (NOTE: Close Combat doesn't kill them if they're at full health, but it can if they are weakened enough.) It also covers your Skuntank weakness.

Hypno is a mediocre Pokemon in NU to say the least, but it did find a niche of being one of the few counters to Jynx. I find it overshadowed by a blob called Lickilicky, who has superior stats as well as a typing that doesn't leave you weaker to Skuntank. If you opt to use Lickilicky, use Body Slam instead of Thunder Wave and leave the rest of the moves similar to Hypno's.

First off, use Taunt > Fire Blast, as Tangela and "whatever-is-weak-to-Fire-Type-attacks-that-Skutank-hates" aren't as popular anymore. Change the EV Spread to: 252 Atk / 216 SpD / 40 Spe.

Duosion is fine in your team as it can setup on Pokemon that your team may have trouble with, such as Alomomola. But having the EV Spread: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA makes you hard to beat on the physical side, meaning you can setup more and fire out stronger hits.

I wish you the best of luck with these suggestions and future battles. :)

I would drop Wormadam for Golem as JoshuaMunoz suggest or Gigalith. Both are better doing that. Gigalith has a nice suicide lead set with Custap Berry, it can set up Stealth Rock, deal damage, and then explode.

Hypno is pretty subpar and I recommend LO Gardevoir over it as an offensive Psychic type. If you really want a special wall, JoshuaMunoz's suggestion of using Lickilicky is good.

Dusion is decent but I'd recommend using Gardevoir or Kadabra over it if you are using Lickilicky instead of Hypno. You are a bit Scolipede weak, though, you might want to read this.

Have fun in NU!

Hey there and welcome to Smogon! :)

As already mentioned, Wormadam is not good...at all. To put it simply, Wormadam is very much outclassed by about every other user of Stealth Rock. I agree with replacing it for Golem. Unlike Wormadam, Golem helps your team deal with birds better. I can see your team having problems with Braviary, most notably Choice Band Braviary. Not even Alomomola is safe from its Brave Bird! Golem patches this issue with its Rock Blast attack and typing. You can also try Piloswine, whose typing allows him to easily set up Stealth Rock.

Hypno is also not that good of choice, as it is outclassed mainly by Musharna in the defensive department. I agree that replacing it with Lickilicky is a much better option if you are still looking for a specially defensive wall, otherwise I'd recommend using Physically Defensive Weezing to have an easier time against Fighting-types and Scolipede, who is a massive threat to your team. Levitate is also nice to have because Weezing can come in on Ground attacks aimed at Skuntank. Skuntank in return protects Weezing from Psychic damage.

Duosion is okay, but its poor speed will often make it hard to sweep. If you want to still use it, then I'd recommend changing its current set to Trick Room to better compliment its awful speed. LO Gardevoir is also a good choice since it is much faster than Duosion and does not need to set up, making it dangerous right from the start.

Hope I could help and good luck with the team! :)
