Name: Swords Dance (Steel)
Ability: Supreme Overlord
EVs: 116 HP / 252 Atk / 140 Spe OR 88 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 164 Spe

- Kowtow Cleave
- Sucker Punch
- Low Kick / Iron Head

[SET COMMENTS]
Kingambit is one of the best offensive threats on Steel teams thanks to its great physical bulk and Attack stat. Furthermore, it serves as a great late-game wincon with Supreme Overlord boosting its already high Attack stat and access to Sucker Punch. Kowtow Cleave allows it to break through walls many of its teammates can struggle with like Quagsire and Skeledirge. Sucker Punch in tandem with Supreme Overlord makes it a really scary revenge killer and late-game sweeper, picking off boosted sweepers like Volcarona and Gouging Fire as well as taking advantage of Choice-locked threats like Excadrill, Flutter Mane, and Barraskewda. Low Kick targets Dark-types that resist its Dark-type moves like Ting-Lu and opposing Kingambit; it can also catch Archaludon switching in off guard and pick off a weakened Iron Hands. On the other hand, Iron Head can be used to target Fairy-types like Primarina, Azumarill, and Clefable. However, Low Kick is preferred due to Kingambit's teammates not really struggling against Fairy-types in the first place. 140 Speed EVs allow Kingambit to outspeed uninvested Skeledirge and Corviknight. An alternate spread with 164 Speed EVs allows Kingambit to outpace Skarmory. Air Balloon lets Kingambit switch in on a predicted Ground-type attack from Choice-locked foes such as Choice Scarf Landorus, Choice Scarf Great Tusk, and Choice Band Mamoswine.

Skarmory and Archaludon provide entry hazard support that Kingambit enjoys to take advantage of worn-down foes. Additionally, Archaludon, with its great physical bulk further boosted by Stamina, allows it to switch in on an attack from the likes of Ogerpon-H and Ting-Lu and threaten them back. Skarmory and Corviknight improve the matchup against Ground due to their immunity. Corviknight also removes Spikes with Defog so that Kingambit does not get worn down easily, and it threatens Fighting-types such as Sneasler and Iron Valiant. Heatran removes bulky threats that can hinder Kingambit's sweeping such as Amoonguss, Toxapex, and Skarmory by trapping them with Magma Storm, and it also handles Gouging Fire when running Air Balloon. Choice Scarf Iron Treads makes for great speed control, as with its great coverage, it threatens non-Choice Scarf Iron Moth, Hisuian Arcanine, and the Landorus formes, and it also brings Kingambit in safely with Volt Switch. Scizor revenge kills faster Fairy- and Ice-types such as Enamorus, Alolan Ninetales, and Kyurem, and it also pivots Kingambit in with U-turn. Hisuian Goodra makes for a great defensive partner, as with its special bulk, it takes Fire-type attacks from Heatran, Iron Moth, and Volcarona and threatens them back with Earthquake. Gholdengo deals with Fighting-types such as Iron Valiant and Iron Hands thanks to its immunity to their STAB attacks and is able to punish Body Press from Skarmory and Archaludon. It also freely switches in on Will-O-Wisp to prevent Kingambit from being weakened and preserves entry hazards thanks to its immunity to both Rapid Spin and Defog.

Sucker Punch in tandem with Supreme Overlord makes it a really scary revenge killer and late-game sweeper picking off boosted sweepers like Volcarona and Gouging Fire, as well as take advantage of Choice-locked threats like Excadrill, Flutter Mane, and Barraskewda. Low Kick is great coverage that targets Dark-types that resist its Dark-type moves like Ting-Lu and opposing Kingambit (Also Archaludon swappin in, and can even pick off Iron Hands if weakened enough). On the other hand, Iron Head can be used to target Fairy-types like Primarina, Azumarill, and Clefable. However, Low Kick is preferred due to its teammates not really struggling against Fairy-types. 140 Speed EVs allow it to outspeed uninvested Skeledirge and Corviknight. (mention 164 for Skarmy, and Air Balloon for more leverage vs Ground-spammy types like Ground itself)
