Save it for a rainy day

Overview
########

Back in Generation V, Kingdra was, as its name suggested, one of the kings of UU. With the transition to the XY era, Kingdra lost a bit of its luster, but it is still a powerful and versatile threat, with its few weaknesses and ability to double its Speed. Kingdra also received a couple of new toys, such as the ability to, after one turn of setup, produce a Sniper-boosted critical hit. This combined with the already existing Dragon Dance and rain sweeper sets makes Kingdra a very diverse Pokemon, and one that is difficult to counter. Unfortunately, Kingdra is far from perfect, as even at +1 Speed it is revenge killed by every other Choice Scarf Dragon-type in the tier, meaning setting up can be difficult. Also, because of the Fairy type, Kingdra's Dragon STAB is not nearly as safe as it was, and using Outrage is very dangerous. Nevertheless, Kingdra is still a powerful threat that can fill many different roles on a team.

Critdra
############
name: Critdra
move 1: Focus Energy
move 2: Draco Meteor
move 3: Hydro Pump / Surf
move 4: Agility
ability: Sniper
item: Scope Lens
evs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
=========

Ever since XY changed the critical hit mechanics, this has been Kingdra's new flagship set. While it lacks the Speed and sweeping capabilities of Kingdra's rain and Dragon Dance sets, it more than makes up for this with its wallbreaking ability. The reason for this is Focus Energy, the key move of this set. The reason for this is because after Kingdra sets up a Focus Energy, that boost to critical hit percentage combined with the Scope Lens produces a guaranteed critical hit on every attack. This boost, in combination with Sniper, will make Draco Meteor an absolutely devastating attack, easily 2HKOing the likes of Umbreon and specially defensive Forretress. Hydro Pump is the best choice for a secondary STAB, as it can hit Florges the hardest out of Kingdra's entire special movepool. However, if the odds of missing Hydro Pump are too great, then Surf is a workable alternative, just be aware that Surf does not 2HKO 252+ Florges with critical hits. The last move is given to Agility, as a Pokemon this powerful has no need for coverage moves. So, if you ever get two turns to set up, a Focus Energy + an Agility can lead to an easy sweep if your opponent lacks a special wall.

Set Details
=========

With the 1.5x boost it gives to critical hits, Sniper is the obvious choice for an ability here, as without it the set is much less functional and pretty much unviable. Alongside this boost, 252 EVs are put into Special Attack, to further boost the power of Draco Meteor. The rest are put into Speed, to Speed tie with neutral base 85s, such as opposing Critdra, Nidoking, and Heracross. And while a Timid nature would help with outrunning these threats, Modest is simply necessary, as that is what gives Hydro Pump and Draco Meteor that extra push that they need to finish off threats.

Usage Tips
=========

This Kingdra set places a lot of emphasis on proper prediction, because firing off a Draco Meteor into a Fairy-type and getting forced out is exactly what you don't want, as you just wasted two perfectly good turns. This is also true with Dragon resists, albeit less so because Kingdra 2HKOes most of them. Another thing you have to keep in mind when you use Critdra is that, even though you invested 252 EVs and the nature into SAtk, Kingdra still only has a base of 95 in that stat, meaning that Draco Meteors and Hydro Pumps that are not criticals will do fairly middling damage. For example, without a critical, a Hydro Pump will do a paltry ~25% to max HP/max SDef Florges, an amount that can be easily wished off. Also, before Agility, Kingdra's base speed of 85 is outsped by many things, including every single Dragon-type in the tier.

Team Options
==========

SubCM Jirachi is an excellent partner for Kingdra, as it can come in and get a free sub on the fairy-types that Kingdra lures in. Other steel-types such as Cobalion or Metagross can come in for free, and attempt to threaten the remainder of the opponent's team. Entry hazards are also a big help for something like Critdra, which gives it the extra help it needs to take down dedicated special walls such as Umbreon, Slowking or Florges. Therefore, Forretress and Froslass are good as they not only cover the Fairy weakness but also have the ability to lay down Spikes (and SR in Forretress's case).

Mixed Rain Sweeper
############
name: Mixed Rain Sweeper
move 1: Rain Dance
move 2: Hydro Pump
move 3: Draco Meteor
move 4: Waterfall
ability: Swift Swim
item: Life Orb
evs: 60 Atk / 252 SAtk / 196 Spe
nature: Mild

Moves
=========

This is the set that made Kingdra a top tier threat in Generations IV and V. The main move on this set is Rain Dance, which in combination with Swift Swim will double Kingdra's speed. This means that one move turns Kingdra from a slow-ish attacker into an extremely threatening sweeper. And now in the rain, STAB Hydro Pumps will absolutely tear everything up, doing immense damage even to dedicated walls. Draco Meteor is a good choice for secondary STAB, hitting the water resists for strong 130 Base Power STAB. The last slot goes to Waterfall, providing a 100% accurate STAB attack, along with the rain boost and the ability to hit special walls on the physical side.

Set Details
=========

The EVs are chosen to outpace Scarf Mienshao in rain, along with the other base 105 Scarfers. The remainder are poured into SAtk, with the leftovers put into Atk to boost the power of Waterfall. A Mild Nature is also chosen, because Kingdra has no need for more speed and the special attacking side is more important than the physical side.

Usage Tips
=========

While setting up rain is usually Kingdra's first priority when running this set, preserving health is often very important, so taking out a weakened slower threat with an attacking move is usually preferable to setting up rain, because taking the hit in return is often worse, especially considering Kingdra has no Leftovers. You always have the choice to predict the opponent's switch and set up rain, but this can be dangerous. Also, when in rain, Hydro Pump is your most damaging attack, but also your least accurate, so Waterfall is recommended if the power is not needed.

Team Options
==========

Grass and Electric-types are good partners, because this Kingdra's biggest threat is bulky Waters which are specially defensive enough to take Draco Meteors. Therefore, strong threats that hit those for super effective like Mega Manectric are effective teammates. Also, specially defensive Florges is coaxed out as well, so things like Sub+SD Cobalion can come in and start setting up and attempt to take over the game. Sub+CM Jirachi also works just as well. Also, just like the last set, good team utility from entry hazards is very helpful, but even more so for a dedicated sweeper like this Kingdra. Team utility can also come in the form of rain setters, as this can save the turn of setting up.

Dragon Dance
############
name: Dragon Dance
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Waterfall
move 3: Outrage
move 4: Substitute / Iron Head
ability: Sniper
item: Leftovers / Lum Berry
evs: 24 HP / 252 Atk / 232 Spe
nature: Adamant

Moves
=========

Unlike the last two sets which were focused on hitting on the special side, this one is fully physical. The reason for this is Dragon Dance, a boosting move that not only buffs Kingdra's speed, but also its physical attack. If a Dragon Dance is able to be set up on the switch, Kingdra has the possibility to tear through the enemy team. STAB Waterfall after a Dragon Dance is a very powerful move, and it also has the added benefit of flinch odds. Outrage is also a strong STAB move, with greater power at the cost of locking yourself in. The last move is a toss-up- Substitute is the most common choice, as it provides security and is a great move to use on a predicted switch. However, Iron Head is another very viable choice, as it 2HKOes Kingdra's old nemesis, Florges and also sports the good 30% flinch odds.

Set Details
=========

Leftovers are generally the best item for this set, as they not only recover off health lost from Substitutes, but they give much more survivability in general. However, Lum Berry is also a good choice on the DD + 3 Attacks set, as it gives Kingdra more setup opportunities and makes Outrage confusion less of a problem. Unless you are using a rain team, Sniper is given the nod over Swift Swim to boost the potential rogue critical hit.The EVs are chosen to maximize attack, with an Adamant nature used to boost the attack further. Speed is boosted to the point where you can outspeed Base 130s at +1, with the rest dumped in HP.

Usage Tips
=========

Substitute, if you have it, is usually the best choice if you are predicting a switch, or if you don’t think the opponent can break it, as it gives a free opportunity to setup without fear of crits, statuses or super effective hits. Behind a substitute, choosing whether or not to DD can be difficult. For example, if they have a scarfed Flygon waiting in the wings, DDing is pretty futile because you'll still be forced out/killed. So, in a situation like this, 2 Waterfalls is better than DD + Waterfall. Also, killing off something slower while behind a Substitute is preferable to letting your Substitute die for a DD, as you can either set up or threaten the following switch-in while behind a Sub.

Team Options
==========

Just like most Kingdra sets, this benefits greatly from entry hazards, as it often lacks the power, even with STAB and +1, to break through bulky attackers or walls. Sticky web is also a big asset, as this slows down grounded Scarfers to the point where they can be outsped at +1, which is a huge help if going for a sweep. Another helpful team option is to have something like Calm Mind Jirachi or Nasty Plot Celebi to set up on and threaten out physical walls DD Kingdra will certainly bait in, such as Tangrowth. Also, a steel-type is a good defensive partner, as they resist both of Kingdra's two weaknesses in Fairy and Dragon.

Other Options
############

A Choice Specs set can be quite a powerful cleaner, but it requires Rain Support to be at all effective. Rest with a Chesto berry can be put on the DD set, but this can be risky as you lose the safety provided by a Substitute or the coverage of Iron Head. An offensive Dragon Dance set with 3 Attacks and LO is possible, and can hit much harder than the Sub + DD set at the cost of survivability. An all-special Rain Dance set is possible, but the extra coverage move is not worth being walled by any specially bulky pokemon like Umbreon. Finally, a support set is possible, with Scald to cripple physical attackers. However, low base HP and defenses are problematic, even with investment.

Checks & Counters
#############

**Florges**: As stated many times, Florges is a full stop for many of Kingdra's sets, being able to live any special hit or unboosted physical hit and OHKO back with Moonblast. The Dragon immunity also helps out Florges heavily.

**Bulky Waters**: Bulky Water types such as Suicune can take hits and phaze out Kingdra, even though Dragon STAB still can put a dent into these walls.

**Dedicated Special Walls**: Special-based sets are shut down by AV Snorlax, Umbreon and Porygon2, as even Rain-boosted Hydro Pump cannot kill these pokes easily.

**Scarfed Dragons**: Choice Scarf Flygon or Hydreigon can also act as checks, as they outspeed all Kingdra sets under +2 Speed, so they can easily force out or kill Kingdra.

No need to make the sets all spaced out. It should look like this for all the sets:

Critical
########
name: Critical
move 1: Focus Energy
move 2: Draco Meteor
move 3: Hydro Pump / Surf
etc.

Yes hi. I'm not QC so you don't have to do what I say, but I've used Kingdra quite a lot.

Please move Critdra to the bottom, or at the very least put Mixed Rain Dance at the top. I've used Rain Sweeper, Dragon Dance and Critdra, and Critdra, in my experience, is its least effective set by a very wide margin, while Rain Sweeper is its most effective set. Kingdra hits like a truck made out of smaller trucks after a Focus Energy, but its speed is a really big issue which makes it very ineffective against any team that's not full stall. Dragon Dance and Swift Swim sets can overwhelm teams with their crazy power and speed. Critdra can not.

Mixed Rain Dance should be renamed to Mixed Rain Sweeper, or at the very least there should be a Swift Swim set that doesn't have Rain Dance (Specs maybe.)

name: Mixed Rain Dance -> Mixed Rain Sweeper
move 1: Rain Dance -> Hydro Pump
move 2: Draco Meteor -> Draco Meteor
move 3: Waterfall / Outrage -> Just Waterfall
move 4: Hydro Pump -> Dragon Pulse / Rain Dance / Surf
ability: Swift Swim
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spe
nature: Hasty
I think the spread here should be 60 HP / 252 SAtk / 196 Spe with a Mild or Rash nature. This allows Kingdra, in Rain, to outspeed everything up to Scarfed Mienshao, who, unless I'm mistaken, is the fastest, most common threat capable of RKing Kingdra. You say Hasty is for Timid Scarfed Noivern, but that's a shitty set that no one uses (and it's not in its analysis anyway.) Kingdra really needs to be running a +SAtk nature (as its stats are a bit low and it really needs the power,) and the fastest threats that could outspeed a neutral natured Kingdra with full speed investment would be base 115 scarfers. There's just nothing in between base 105 and base 115 speed that is both a common scarfer and capable of KOing Kingdra. The only real merit to running more speed would be to outspeed stuff when Rain isn't up or hoping to outspeed other Kingdras, but I don't feel these are too important because a). Kingdra should not be attempting to set-up Rain Dance against something that threatens it, and there are plenty of things it can set-up on; b). opposing Kingdras are not terribly common, and c). ~70% of them are running Sniper like an idiot, instead of glorious Swift Swim master race.

The remaining 60 EVs can just go in HP. They could go into attack but I can't think of a solid reason (turning a 3HKO into a 2HKO on a prominent threat) to do so. With 0 attack EVs, Hydro Pump + Waterfall KOs every EV spread Florges can run.

252/252+/0 physically defensive: 41.41 + 59.4 = 100.5% for both minimum rolls
252/232/24+ the spread in her analysis: 46.6 + 53.3 = 99.9% (is actually 100%, 192 dmg + 168 dmg = 360 = all of Florges' health )
252/0/252+ specially defensive: 61.6 + 45.8 = 107.4%

Stealth Rock/Spikes negates any healing Florges could get from Leftovers+Protect. At any rate, 60 attack EVs only gives +2.5% more damage.

Moves
=========
  • Rain Dance is the most important move on this set, as it doubles Kingdra’s speed with the help of Swift Swim. -> something something STAB Hydro Pump in Rain is strongkth
  • Draco Meteor is Kingra's most powerful STAB attack, what with its 130 BP + STAB.
  • Waterfall and Outrage are both strong physical STABs that can break Special walls like Snorlax and Milotic. -> Waterfall should be here, and mention that it's pretty much only for Florges. Outrage does absolutely nothing against Suicune; Milotic is hit just as hard by Dragon Pulse, Vaporeon is hit harder by Dragon Pulse, Slowbro is hit harder by Dragon Pulse even with Assault Vest, Mega Blastoise is 3HKOed by everything except Draco Meteor. And you're locked into Outrage. Outrage is just not good on this set.
  • The last slot is given to Hydro Pump, which will waste most enemies when under rain. -> Dragon Pulse as a reliable, drawback-free Dragon STAB for water, grass and dragon types. Rain Dance to set-up rain for itself and possibly other teammates. Surf if you don't want to get screwed by Hydro's miss chance, cause rain-boosted Surf is really strongkth anyway.
Set Details
=========
  • The ability Swift Swim is what makes this set function, as it makes Kingdra a blisteringly fast sweeper after one turn of setup and boosts its water moves.
  • The EVs are, once again, put into Spd and SAtk, to maximize sweeping potential with stronger Hydro Pumps / Draco Meteors.
  • Hasty Nature is chosen to allow Kingdra to outspeed Timid Scarf Noivern in rain. -> Scarfed Mienshao. Again, Timid Scarfed Noivern is not a thing, or at the very least not common enough to justify losing the boost from Mild/Rash.
Usage Tips
=========
  • If something slow like Blastoise-Mega is weakened, it is often better to take it out with an attack and set up rain later to preserve Kingdra’s HP.
  • Rain-boosted Hydro Pump is even more powerful than Draco Meteor, but less accurate. Use it only when the risk is necessary, and use Waterfall or Draco Meteor when it is not.
Team Options
==========
  • Any bulky water is a problem for this set, especially ones with enough Special bulk to tank Draco Meteors. Therefore, grass or electric-types are good partners.
  • Florges is also coaxed out by Kingdra, so things such as Cobalion are effective because they easily set up on it. <- Metagross and Jirachi are probably better mentions here, not to set-up on Florges but just to force it out I guess. Rain gimps fire types so you can't really use other, common switch ins like Victini or Darm. Cobalion is neutral to Fairy and takes about half from Moonblast so it's not the greatest switch in to Florges.
  • Considering this Kingdra is a sweeper, residual damage from hazard setters is very helpful for Kingdra.
  • Rain setters like Tornadus, Uxie, Liepard, and Bronzong. Even if Kingdra is running Rain Dance, having another rain setter means Kingdra does not have to take a hit when setting up rain by itself, and you get a couple more turns because of Damp Rock. And if Kingdra is not running Rain Dance, these are required.
  • Other Rain Sweepers like Kabutops, Ludicolo, Mega Man/Sheep with Thunder, Starmie, etc. who can abuse Kingdra's/Rain setters' rain if it has to switch out/faints.

Sub+Dragon Dance set looks good. Consider changing it to just Dragon Dance, as you could possibly slash Draco Meteor and Rain Dance after sub. I don't have a lot of experience with it so I can't comment on it much, but they seem like viable options. If you slash Rain Dance, be sure to slash the Ability, too. Slash LO maybe cause it really does need the power. The BW2 Analysis had a second and third set with Dragon Dance ("Offensive Dragon Dance" and ChestoRest), so either consider including those, slashing them in a singular "Dragon Dance" set, or moving them to OO cause it might be a bit cluttered with all the slashes, otherwise.

I won't comment on Critdra cause the whole thing (the set itself, not your writeup) is ass imo. But if you want to use Critdra, that is the Critdra you use. Also rename it to Critdra, as that's the name the OU analysis uses.

Also, change pros a bit:

Pros
  • Extremely versatile, can run many sets, physical and special, with ease, and each set has different checks and counters
  • Powerful STABs that hit many targets hard, with perfect neutral coverage barring Empoleon, Ferroseed, Marill and Shedinja
  • Good typing with only two weaknesses
  • Two very viable abilities <- If I were writing this I'd really not toot Critdra's horn but I'll wait for an opinion from a QC member
  • Multiple effective set-up moves
  • Special and Physical sets have completely different counters <- redundant to the first line that I edited

I'm hiding this stuff because at first I read your title as "needs other opinions and counters" or something, and then noticed it's still WIP. I'm sure you know what you're doing and don't want you to think that I don't, but this is what I'd put, more or less, cause I already typed all this stuff up:

OO:
Yawn - check/counter comes in, you use Yawn to sleep them next turn and possibly make them switch, or if you get KOed, give a free turn to something like SD Kabutops
Ice Beam - Hits grass types harder than Dragon Pulse, but doesn't give very good coverage besides that
HP Electric - Hits Empoleon, but literally just
Iron Head - for Dragon Dance/Critdra without Rain. Hits Florges harder than Waterfall, but if rain is up Waterfall hits harder so probably good mention for DDance/Crit
ChestoRest - it's kindra bulky and could use this I guess
Roseli Berry - maybe? Florges is pretty much a compulsory switch in to Kingdra, and being able to get a second DDance off and then KO with +2 Iron Head/Waterfall is pretty trolly
Agility - On Critdra, so it can act as a Double Dance set
Specs - Ridiculous power and speed in rain, could even get its own set

C&C:
Empoleon - Resists both stabs, can phaze DDance boosts, rain boosted Hydro Pump is only a 4HKO, can miss, and Ice Beam is a 4HKO, and can't miss
Florges - Immune to Dragon. KOed by Hydro Pump + Waterfall in rain, but can check (can also switch in on the turn Kingdra uses Rain Dance.) Counters DDance, probably.
Aromatisse - Also 2HKOed by rain-boosted water STAB but checks Swift Swim sets (also switches in on Rain Dance. See this is why you have something else set rain for Kingdra.) Counters DDance harder than Florges cause it's physically bulkier. Maybe just merge with Florges and say "Fairies."
Whimsicott - Resists both STABs, does really annoying Prankster shit like Encoring your dances, wears you down with Leech Seed or can hit reasonably hard with Moonblast.
Gardevoir - Traces Swift Swim and OHKOs with Moonblast. Foolproof check to Swift Swim sets. Loses to DDance unless it's Scarfed+Timid and Kingdra only has one boost+is Adamant. May move up to OU so if it does remember to remove Garde.
Bulky Waters - Vaporeon can Toxic/try to burn and stall but is set-up bait for SubDance unless it has Roar. Milotic can Dragon Tail to phaze, but its D-Tail can't break your sub but it can also Haze; Dragon Pulse+Draco Meteor does a lot so it probably loses to Swift Swim. Assault Vest Slowbro is 3HKOed by about every set but needs a good amount of prior damage to 2HKO with Psychic. Mega Blastoise can OHKO with the uncommon Dragon Pulse, but is 2HKOed by Outrage/Dragon Pulse + Draco Meteor, and can't KO back without D Pulse. Gastrodon and Jellicent are also set-up fodder for DDance but can probably counter Rain Sweeper sets with a SDef spread.
Ferroseed - do people even use this? I guess it counts.
Scarfed Flygon - Checks DDance. Loses to Swift Swim
Scarfed Noivern - Yeah okay technically it checks, but if it's not in its analysis idk if you can include it here

I am not qc, so you might want to ask a qc member before implementing these changes.
Critdra needs agility to function properly as it is quite prone to getting revenge killed. Change the nature to Modest if implementing this change.
A dragon dance set with chesto-resto is quite effective as sergent spooky already said.
On the rain dance set Mild / Rash nature is better, as Kingdra needs all the power it can get due to its only above average offenses. Morever, i don't think scarf noivern is used, though i may be wrong.

A Choice Specs set can be quite a powerful wallbreaker, but, like Critdra, it is much slower than the Dragon Dance set and Rain Sweeper set and is easily revenged.

You use a specs set in tandem with a rain setter. It's ridiculously fast and ridiculously strong in rain, and doesn't lose health from Life Orb, which is why I wanted it to get a mention; but without rain, it's sort of bad.

It doesn't need its own set (in UU I think there's little reason to use it over Mixed Rain Sweeper,) but the mention in OO is just incorrect. Specs Kingdra shouldn't be used without rain support.

A Choice Specs set can be quite a powerful cleaner, however it requires Rain support to be at all effective

This is just more accurate.

If you're keeping Rain Dance unslashed then change the name back to Mixed Rain Dance.
  • Waterfall and Outrage are both strong physical STABs that can break Special walls like Snorlax and Milotic.
Rain-boosted Waterfall hits just as hard as Outrage, so the only things you're hitting it with are grass/water/dragon types, like SDef Gastrodon, Celebi/Shaymin, Jellicent and Vaporeon. Waterfall is pretty much just for Florges (SDef Umbreon is hit harder by Hydro Pump, actually.)

Waterfall hits Florges and Assault Vest Snorlax harder than any of Kingdra's other moves, while Outrage can be used for special walls that resist or are immune to water, such as Celebi and Jellicent.

^Something like that.

Rain setters/Rain sweepers in team options.

not QC, but I thought I would just throw some things I have been using at the wall to see what sticks.

Overview:

Looks good but Fairies is spelt wrong on the first line of cons

Mixed Rain Dance:

This is the spread I use personally is 60 Atk / 252 SpA / 196 Spe Mild. It has just enough speed to outpace 105 Scarfers (Mienshao) in rain since there are no base 110 scarfers to note atm and it won't be able to outpace +nature base 115 Scarfers (Raikou) anyways. Kingdra wants all the power it can get its attacking stats aren't the best so any investment in its attacking stats is very much appreciated. The only other Pokemon in the Base 85 Speed tier, that runs max Speed, with Kingdra is Nidoking who can't OHKO you and no Nidotwin wants to stay in on a Kingdra (unless its fodder) anyways.

Sub DD:

Looks good to me. I haven't used this yet this gen but the set itself is pretty cookie cutter because of Kingdra's bad movepool and alright stats. I may be missing something here.

CritDra:

I would say remove Ice Beam as a slash if not from the set entirely. Sure its one of Kingdra's few decent offensive moves, but Draco hits everything that is 2x weak to it harder anyways (Ice Beam hits 320 BP after Sniper and SE; Draco hits 390 BP after STAB and Sniper). The only thing it really hits is Whimsicott, whom you don't want around when you set up in the first place. This moveslot is rather strange I will admit, but Waterfall / Flash Cannon / Dragon Pulse (Pulse is p bad too but it has merit in consistency if you can't set up) are all way better in terms of usefulness. Moving Dragon Pulse to a moves instead of a slash might be appropriate to.

Other Options:
Attract DD lol
Maybe Agility to give the CritDra set some form of speed boost, you need 2 turns of set up though and securing those turns is much easier said than done

Checks and Counters:

+speed Scarf Raikou should be added here as the last Check since it can outspeed any weakened Kingdra even under rain (it will usually be weakened by setting up or by its own Life Orb) and pick it off with Thunderbolt. Kingdra must be below 50% though for a guaranteed KO, but it still has a chance to KO a Kingdra that is at 58% or below.

This looked pretty good overall
Favorite mon :]

Edit: I completely blanked on Heracross on the speed thing, but you generally don't want Kingdra in on cross unless rain is up anyways

For Critdra, mention a Sticky Web user like Shuckle or Smeargle as a partner, and it can run agility in the last slot to outspeed faster mons.

You're going a little crazy on slot 4 of Critdra. I'd narrow it down to just HP Fire / Flash Cannon as the other options seem gimmicky at best. Also, I'd slash Surf first as the the accuracy increase is increadibly useful and its not like Kingdra will be missing power with it due to 100% crit rate.

Waterfall / Flash Cannon / Dragon Pulse / Agility

Okay, see, most of these are useless.

252 SpA Sniper Kingdra Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 24+ SpD Florges on a critical hit: 202-238 (56.1 - 66.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
4 Atk Sniper Kingdra Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 232 Def Florges on a critical hit: 193-229 (53.6 - 63.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Sniper Kingdra Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 24+ SpD Florges on a critical hit: 198-234 (55 - 65%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

And Dragon Pulse is also fairly pointless, considering that Draco Meteor doesn't drop your damage. I'd just use Agility for the offchance that Critdra gets two set up opportunities, because that move can actually be useful.

Well, I think Waterfall / Flash Cannon is better, because what is HP Fire hitting that Hydro Pump couldn't hit. Also, Agility is for those awesome times when you get two turns of setup, since out speeding their whole team with CritDra is pretty scary. But yeah, I probably should remove Dragon Pulse, so I shall.

Good point. I guess that HP Fire hits Forry really hard, but let me quickly calc.

OK. Forry is already OHKO'd by crit Surf.

Waterfall is pointless tbh. Replace it with Ice Beam
But Flash Cannon literally does nothing.
Flash Cannon hits SpD Florges for a 2HKO on a crit: something none of its other moves do.

oh wait: It does get hit by Hydro Pump, but Hydro Miss is a killer as Moonblast OHKOs back after SR damage/prior damage (which you will prolly have taken while setting up)

SUPER EFFECTIVE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER THAN STAB FLASH CANNON IS 160 HYDRO PUMP IS 180 AND UNDER RAIN 270

Ok now that that's done: Flash Cannon does not need a mention for the reliability as Kingdra prefers all the moves it already has

Edit: just edit your posts without double posting, and Ferroseed shouldn't be mentioned as it is not getting an analysis

Sorry about being post happy, but I've just realised that Ferroseed is hit by HP Fire.
