    • Poison: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens/haze uninhibited. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus. Superior senses in urban settings.
    Abilities: Levitate
    • Levitate: This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading Ground moves like Bulldoze, Dig, Earthquake, and Magnitude. Other Ground moves can still hit.

    Contrary to what you expected, go Edge!
    Cagnazzo, use your Solid Rock to it's best advantage!

    Edge, do not enable contrarian yet, begin with a Light Screen, then a Reflect! Finish by leech seeding Duclohm! If Duclohm uses protect on a3, use Coil!

    Cagnazzo, begin by using Ice Beam on Duclohm, then try an ancient power, then another Ice beam! If on any action Duclohm uses protect sucessfully, replace your current action with shell smash the first time, and set up a 15 HP Substitute on the second.

    The trainers send out thier pokemon, Monohm and Haunter versus Servine and Tirtouga. As Monohm appears it begins to glow, evolving into Duclohm!

    Criminal starts things off by targeting Servine with a Confuse Ray, successfully befuddling the lizard. In his confusion Edge smacks himself in the face while trying to create some sort of wall. Amused, Empire shows the Servine how it's done and creates a Light Screen around herself and Haunter. Slower than the rest of the pokemon, Cagnazzo fires an Ice Beam at Duclohm, but the screen reduces its power.

    Not content with just a mystical screen for protection, Criminal creates a doll like replica of herself for protection. Edge tries to create something too, but ends up slaping himself again. Empire does a mystical Rain Dance to start a downpour, right before Cagnazzo sends some Ancient Powered rocks at the Duclohm.

    Safely behind her substitute, Criminal targets Tirtouga with her ghostly mental abilities and Disables the turtle's ability to use Ice Beam! Finally shaking off the confusion, Edge launches several small Leech Seeds at Duclohm, but those slaps to the face must have hurt his eyesight because the seeds miss. Poor guy can't seem to catch a break. Empire begins to manipulate the wind patterns, temporarily turning the rainstorm into a Hurricane that strikes Servine. Cagnazzo attempts to strike Duclohm, but can't thanks to Haunter's Disable.

    Criminal start the round by shooting a Sludge Bomb at Servine. The toxic material seeps into the grass-type's skin and poisons him. Not wanting to get hit by any more status effects, Edge sets up a veil to Safeguard himself and Tirtouga. Empire doesn't care about the veil and calls down a strike of Thunder on Tirtouga. While the other pokemon were busy, Cagnazzo was storing up energy and now finally releases it in a Double Crunch combo! His beak is covered with dark energies, and when he strikes Haunter's substitute it shatters into billions of pieces.

    To avenge her lost doll, Criminal lets loose some Will-o-wisps at Tirtouga, but they are unable to pierce the protective veil. Edge sets up a Light Screen around him and Tirtouga, and just in time. Empire calls forth another Hurricane, but the Screen is able to protect Servine from some of the damage. Cagnazzo doesn't do much and just cools down after that big effort.

    Criminal repeats its first action, and hits Servine with a Sludge Bomb. Edge blasts a Leaf Storm at Haunter, and thanks to his Contrariness his special attack power grows. Empire follows Haunter's lead and uses Thunder on Tirtouga again. Cagnazzo uses the water from the surrounding moat to create a swirling Whirlpool around Haunter, trapping her in place.

    From her stationary spot inside the whirlpool, Criminal strikes Edge with a Shadow Ball, knocking him out. Empire then fires a Thunderbolt at Tirtouga, though it's dampened by his solid, rocky body and the light screen. Cagnazzo avenges his comrade by Crunching down on Haunter, so hard than her defenses are lowered.

    Criminal responds to the attack by hitting Tirtouga with a Sludge Bomb. Empire just keeps throwing lightning with a Thunder. Cagnazzo keeps going after Haunter, using the rain to power up his Aqua Tail attack.

    As Criminal and Empire strike Cagnazzo with a Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt, respectively, the blue turtle finally falls, bringing our battle to a close.
