I'm stuck in deciding between these two. ACER AS7720 is £100's cheaper than the other, but I don't know if the extra £100 is really worth it.

ACER AS5920G comes with a dedicated graphics card NVidia GF8600M 256 MB ..I don't know much about graphics cards, played games on my PC without one although non really demanded it.

EDIT:
The Acer Aspire 9425WSMi http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/index.php/taxid;2136212931;pid;3484;pt;5#cb

It's specs are very good, well the 1.3MP camera and also comes with the GeForce graphics card. So it's really a decision i have to make between this and the ACER AS5920G.

Well what do have to say? If non of these are worth their price you can suggest better laptops. Thanks!

Not much of an expert on laptops, but don't get an Acer. I work at Staples and people are always bringing them back for repairs.

Comet is fairly overpriced is all I can say.

Are much better alternatives. As for what type of laptop you should get, it does depends on what you want to use it for, games or not!

Oh also I wouldn't recommend buying a 17" screener. They are just so bulky and unportable imo.

I did my best, I have no regrets!

I have an Acer TV and I find it great. Don't know about their laptops. People seem to love their monitors too.

I'd go with the second one. Dedicated graphics card and smaller screen size. You really don't want to be carrying around a 17" laptop everywhere.

Also, shop around. 800 GBP is like $1600 Canadian I think. That sounds really pricey... not sure on the sites you should check out for the UK, but look around.

Updated! If anyone knows a good review site for these laptops (pcworld has a very good review for the Acer Aspire) i'd like to see a similar thorough review for the Acer AS5920G. Thanks!
