Soundtrack

You cannot tell how long the journey through the mists of time took - be it a hour, a few seconds, or just an eyebeat. The portal through which you arrive still faints glowly, giving you a feeble sense of safety in the knowledge that you still have a way out of this. But the scenery before you quickly trumps any shred of tranquility you could still cling to.

The cheerful glade that you remembered from your time stands now before you as a wild, savage island. Strong winds blow all around its shores, and fierce waves clash against the rocks. The Seabreak Path is not here - you cannot tell if the raging ocean submerged it or if it formed years - centuries? - later. Regardless, you seem to only have one way to go.

As you head deep inside the woodlands, you soon find an increasing number of chopped trees. At a closer inspection, however, you realize they're not actually chopped, but charred. It looks as if someone, or something, scorched the trees to ashes, leaving nothing but their chopped bases. As you stop there to wonder what could be the cause behind this, however, you suddenly feel the ground shaking rhytmically beneath your feet... shaking as if something big were walking right behind you!

And in fact, as you turn, a gigantic creature stares before you, its reptilian eyes gazing on your minuscule figures with a mixture of rage and defiance.

Its is my charge to watch over this glade, I will see you burn before any harm comes to it.

A stream of fire suddenly surrounds a circular area around you, preventing any escape. At the same time, the creature's flaming body suddenly bursts, bathing the previously dark place in a hot, intense light!

Before the encounter said:

Is this perhaps the fate of legendary Pokemon? To reign supreme, but remain alone? The lowest Pokemon life lived seems a paradise in comparison, almost carefee, with plenty of friends of the same/differenct species to mix, play, and fight around. Even humans...

The spacetime travelling seems... odd, in a way. Would a temporal paradox occur? A Bad Wolf resolution, or a self-consistent timeflow? Zheng do not know. But he is here to try. The journey beyond the point of what will be, or used to be, or still is, Seabreak Path is undisturbed, until they came upon the charred glade.

Cuivre shields her team mates against physical punishment, but forgets to protect Pleut as well. Pyroak does not seem to care, though, and plummets the raid with a barrage of boulders. Then, the fiery beast focuses on the Castform and smacks it with a fiery stream of flames. But apparently Pyroak isn't done yet, because it follows shortly after, opening the mouth of its arm cannon and firing at the unfortunate Pleut.

Gem, you ostensibly switched the name of your mons for orders. Since I want to reward the bravery of you two I am going to "switch them" myself, but be more careful next time as I may be less light-hearted^^

Round 2

Gajeel quickly goes out of Pyroak's reach to avoid fiery punishment. This causes the massive beast to turn back to Pleut, who's probably better suited to tank those gigantic blows. Even the Castform however can take hits for only so long, therefore Elfman goes all-out to get the foe's attention. The trick works, insofar as it causes Pyroak to turn on the Camerupt and spray a fiery liquid onto him.

Ack Gem you forgot that Aurumoth should be Ancient Power Slugma A2 ;-; Okay, at least we found out about this enrage-Selfdestruct thingie. Chalk another new task up: get Pyroak as close to 66% as possible, seeing if we can trigger a HP-related special.

Aurumoth should get Reflect back up (on Castform this time), then Heal Pulse again Castform again. Meanwhile, Castform continues as normal (not like there's anything else possible). Time to pull a Leeroy Jenkins.

Okay, we made it to 65 percent. Nothing is triggered yet, so now let's aim for 50%. Which should be impossible. Yay.

EDIT: Okay, we've established that it is impossible. Forfeiting the scout. Maybe we can come back if we were fast enough?

Gem remember to have Aurumoth Heal Pulse Honchkrow after setting up Light Screen. And cross our fingers that Rock Slide does not come. Castform should probably use Protect A2.
