Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Knock Off
- Poison Jab / Iron Tail

Clefable is a nice switch-in to Weavile as it resists Knock Off and only has a tiny chance to be 2HKOed by Icicle Crash. However, Poison Jab Weavile allows you to 2HKO Clefable with Icicle Crash + Poison Jab, which also hits Keldeo and Azumarill for solid damage. Iron Tail guarantees the 2HKO with Knock Off + Iron Tail at the cost of accuracy and hitting Azumarill and Keldeo weaker. However, it does hit Mega Diancie, Mamoswine and Tyranitar very hard so it is not completely useless.

Poison Jab Conkeldurr

Conkeldurr @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 128 or 48 HP / 252 Atk / 128 or 208 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch/Thunderpunch
- Ice Punch
- Poison Jab

This lure should win because is literally the trailer at the beginning of this thread, but -seriously speaking- Poison Jab from Conkeldurr almost OHKOes Clefable with little effort and there is always the priority to clean or you can invest some EVs in speed freeing the moveslot reserved for Mach Punch to use Thunderpunch against Skarmory.

252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Conkeldurr Poison Jab vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 359-424 (91.1 - 107.6%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
and you can use Mach Punch to outspeed Clefable killing it.

Max Atk + Adamant nature to enhance the utility of Sheer Force + Life Orb; the loss of Guts is huge because you can't switch into status moves anymore but the opponent should never try to status Conkeldurr bewaring Guts.
20 Spe EVs are used to outspeed Hippowdon (Ice Punch 2HKOes it) but 128 Spe can be run to outpace 0 Spe Clefable or 208 Spe+Thunderpunch to outpace standard Skarmory 2HKOing it and the remaining EVs are placed into HP to tank hits better.

Thanks Random Passerby for the suggestions.

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Ice Beam
- Iron Head

Don't care the other moves. For many fatter builds it's hard switching into kyurem and ofter Clefable is considered a relible switch, able to take on the specially based kyube (once scouted that it is actually special kyube). It takes an ice beam on the swith and get koed by the iron head. This iron head thing is reliable, cause you don't have to risk the miss like with iron tail torn and it is faster then Fable instead of poison jab Conke.

Sceptile-Mega @ Sceptilite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Seed Bomb
- Iron Tail
- Earthquake

Like Thundurus and because of Lightning Rod, Mega Sceptile is immune to Thunder Wave allowing it to safely Sword Dance and OHKO Clefable with Iron Tail.

+2 252 Atk Mega Sceptile Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 408-480 (103.5 - 121.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Sceptile: 224-266 (79.7 - 94.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Garchomp @ Life Orb
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw / Outrage
- Stone Edge / Fire Fang (other viable options include Stealth Rock and Outrage/DClaw)

Garchomp's most common set is Rocky Helmet and Clefable is a good switch in to that set. However, offensive SD sets can surprise Clefable and 2HKO it with Earthquake. LO is prefered over the standard Sash / Lum SD set because those sets are unable to 2HKO Clefable with Earthquake thanks to Leftovers and only have a 18.8% chance to OHKO at +2. Life Orb on the other hand always 2HKO's Clefable with Earthquake / OHKO's it with +2 Earthquake. Another cool thing about this set is that it doesn't have to rely on bad accuracy moves such as Iron Tail to lure in Clefable. SD Garchomp also surprises many other checks such as Landorus-T, Togekiss and Ferrothorn.

Latios
@ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Surf / Hidden Power Fire
- Trick

This takes a different approach from luring Clefable with steel or poison coverage. Latios is normally seen running LO, which usually fails to break Clefable, one of the set's most common switch-ins. With Specs, Latios has an easier time breaking through Clefable, with Psyshock doing 52 - 61.6% to the standard mixed spread. Additionally, Latios can choose to Trick away its Specs onto Clefable, crippling it for the remainder of the match. Specs Latios also has utility outside of luring Clefable. A variety of defensive Pokemon commonly switch in on Latios, such as Chansey, Ferrothorn, Heatran, and so on. All of these Pokemon really dislike having their items removed, so Tricking a Specs on them will limit their effectiveness and reduce their ability to take on some of the teammates you've paired Latios with.

I wasn't too sure what to use for the third move :( I can see Shadow Ball being useful to damage things like Jirachi and Mega Metagross, though.

Dragonite@Life Orb
EVs: 4 HP, 252 ATK, 252 SPEED
-Iron Head
-Dragon dance
-Extreme speed
-Outrage
Clefable is usually a good check to Dragonite, not being 2HKOed by its usual moves. However Clef gets 1HKOed by Dragonite after a Iron Tail/Head depending on what you want to use. DD on the first turn and absorb moonblast with Multiscale, and 1HKO with Iron Head/Tail(depending on acc preferences)
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Dragonite Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 499-590 (126.6 - 149.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
edit:proof that you can use iron head
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Dragonite Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 400-473 (101.5 - 120%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Absol-Mega @ Absolite
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Tail
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance

Clefable is a very common switch-in to MAbsol. Because of it's incredible typing, Clefable can always come in on MAbsol, as its primary STABs do minimal damage, and its coverage moves such as Play Rough or Superpower fail to massively damage it. However, with Iron Tail, Mega Absol can easily 2HKO Clefable. With Swords Dance, Absol can be turned into a sweeper, and +2 Iron Tail knocks out Clefable as well.

252 Atk Mega Absol Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 254-300 (64.4 - 76.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

+2 252 Atk Mega Absol Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 508-598 (128.9 - 151.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Protect

Against standard mixed Mega Diancie with heavy SpA investment, Clefable is a pure counter that can only be defeated by crits. Furthermore it is one of Diancie's best switch-ins as it isn't weak to any coverage Diancie carries, making it a very reliable switch-in.

However, with 252 Atk investment, Clefable cannot take on Diamond Storm from Diancie well at all:

252 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 201-237 (51 - 60.1%) -- 88.3% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

A Rock Polish set with a +Atk nature can be used if you want to ensure the 2HKO

slowbro.gif

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Slack Off
- Thunder Wave / Scald

Clefable can usually eat up anything Slowbro has to offer and overpower it with Calm Mind. However, a Slowbro set with both Calm Mind and Psyshock can also set up, and break through Clefable's Calm Mind boosts.
