Raikou @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Extrasensory

People usually dump shadow ball in raikou's last slot which I always feel is a waste as it doesn't grab any noticable KOs that thunderbolt/hp ice don't bar like celebi, and it 2hkos offensive venu which usually walls raikou without much effort
I think shadow ball is usually for Lati@s on Raikou.

both latis are 2hkod by specs hp ice after rocks
Yeah but it helps on non specs variants, surprisingly I rarely see specs Raikou, it's usually AV or CM usually the former. Specs Raikou does hit pretty hard though.

Hello! First post here!

KACAW (Zapdos) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 156 Def / 88 SpA / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Roost
- Defog
- Hidden Power [Flying]

This is "standard" Physically Defensive Zapdos with some little changes. I decide to use HP Flying to lure-in Venusaur since it gets ~2HKO (+Stealth Rock) with a little SAtk investement. 88 Satk evs means that I had to reduce Def (176 -> 156), making it just a little more frail but I didn't change nature so I suppose that electric bird will remain bulky. This is my first "lure" so I suppose that is not as good as I think but at least I tried.

88 SpA Zapdos Hidden Power Flying vs. 232 HP / 4 SpD Mega Venusaur: 146-174 (40.6 - 48.4%) -- 58.2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Chesnaught @ Salac Berry
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Belly Drum
- Drain Punch
- Stone Edge

Missing out on Seed Bomb has its downsides, but Stone Edge has some cool perks. After some drumming, Stone Edge does 88.3 - 104.1% to offensive Mega Venusaur, guaranteeing a kill after rocks. Fighting + Rock coverage is neat and lets Chesnaught OHKO things like Mega Altaria (252/0 variants take 98.3 - 115.8%), Togekiss, and others resistant to its STABs. This is important because it means you can keep your sub intact, and the face of your opponent afterwards will be priceless =p

I vote my favourite lure -bar mine, obvious!!! but I can't vote myself- which is useful even outside this scenario (even if I think that my lure is one of the best of the slate because Mega-Venusaur can even think to stay in taking a +3 super effective move in the process being cleanly OHKOed without rocks; AV Serperior + Mirror Coat seems to me like a waste without ways to recover HP and/or bult to repeat the Mirror Coat trick throughout the match such as AV Defiant Milotic)

Outrage Mega Altaria

Psychic mega diancie, NG breloom, Return azumarill, sharpen mega diancie and HP flying zapdos seems too situational, sometimes even gimmick.
Psychic manaphy seems too obvious lately.
HP flying and Psychic thundurus, outrage mega altaria, assault coat serperior, extrasensory raikou and BD chesnaught are nice lures, but in the end becos i have seen it in practice, and how genious and evilish it is, im voting

AV + Mirror Coat Serperior

I'miss gonna have to go with keld on this one as venu is one of it's best checks you lose hitting lati's but that's what pursuit is for.

HP Flying Keldeo.

Tank Garchomp

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 240 HP / 176 Def / 92 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
- Fire Blast

This guy is one of the most common mons right now, and his chip damage of 29% for any physical contact, is extremely helpful, as it punishes any physical attacker. It's also able to provide stealth rocks and punish Rapid Spin users, and U-turn users as well. It's able to check most physical attackers, including Talonflame, Bisharp and Scizor. There's also the fact it can phase out mons with Dragon Tail, which can be extremely helpful when an opponent tries to send in Latios or Latias to predict EQ and go for Defog.

Also, please refrain from using Natural Gift as it's really specific, forces you to run an item, and it's for a 1 shot attempt that might not work, and easily lose it's utility.

Edit: Just don't abuse it on random mons like AM said. A few mons with Natural Gift are fine, but I don't wanna see too many of them, and make sure the mon that's running it, is truly able to lure in Garchomp before hand.

Infernape @ Expert Belt
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 168 Atk / 88 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Fire Blast
- Close Combat
- Mach Punch
- Hidden Power Ice

Infernape is generally used as a defensive set rn, and HP Ice Infernape acts as an excellent lure to this set, outspeeding and killing this after it switches in to take Close Combat. Using Expert Belt, as Life Orb makes it easier to scout for HP Ice.
