Ability: Healer
EVs: 172 HP / 252 SpA / 84 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Dazzling Gleam
- Psychic
- Fire Blast

Offensive Audino can easily lure in Garbodor and 2HKO with Psychic, or even potentially OHKO with Psychic at +1 after rocks.

+1 252+ SpA Mega Audino Psychic vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Garbodor: 276-326 (76 - 89.8%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
0 Atk Garbodor Gunk Shot vs. 172 HP / 4 Def Mega Audino: 204-240 (52.3 - 61.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Hitmonchan @ Lum Berry
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake

Garbodor likes to switch in to Fighting types and definitely Hitmonchan. Often you want to spin the hazards away when Garb switches in and then you take that annoying Rocky Helmet damage. But Hitmonchan gets Earthquake which you can suprise the opponent with! Earthquake is a solid 2HKO:
252+ Atk Hitmonchan Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 124+ Def Garbodor: 192-228 (52.8 - 62.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO.
I put a Lum Berry on Chan in case Toxic Spikes are already up, Life Orb isn't really necessary since you do enough damage to Garbodor.

252+ Atk Choice Band Hariyama Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Garbodor: 304-358 (83.5 - 98.3%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Had to post this one lol. Garbodor is one of the most common switchins to hariyama, and with sawk gone this set is more than viable, hariyama also has 2 great abilities, one of them turns it into monster if statused and another helps it check ice/fire types if team lacks resists and needs a wallbreaker. Its not as common as AV but definitely worth trying.

From what I've seen, most Pinsir's don't run EQ. +2 EQ allows Pinsir to nab the OHKO on defensive Garbodor even with Jolly and no rocks necessary. I feel Pinsir is really underrated in its power and it should definitely not be looked down upon.
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Mold Breaker Pinsir Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Garbodor: 494-582 (135.7 - 159.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Lure Garbodor living up to its name.. Psychic easily 2HKOs defensive Garbodor and they'll never see it coming unless you've revealed Life Orb earlier in the game.

This weeks winners:
PrinceLucian's Choice Banded Earthquake Hariyama (sorry I had to...)
Lax's Extrasensory Shiftry
Shadestep's Life Orb Psychic Garbodor

This time we shall be luring one of our newest additions to the tier:

Aggron @ Choice Band
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Heavy Slam
- Low Kick
- Fire Punch

Scyther @ Eviolite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Aerial Ace
- Roost
- Brick Break

While loosing U-Turn can be a piss by not giving momentum to his team, Scyther can easily lure Aggron - One of the best offensive checks to it - With Brick Break. You can't SD in the switch a lot of times because of Sturdy, but Brick Break easily 2hkoes it anyway;

8 Atk Scyther Brick Break vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Aggron: 140-168 (49.8 - 59.7%) -- 99.6% chance to 2HKO

After killing Aggron, you can have a good time for things like Specs Swellow or Vivillon sweeping way more easier.

Mesprit @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid/Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 SpD
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Ice Beam/Signal Beam

-One of the most threatening and forgotten Mesprit sets, and its because offensive teams really like defensive mesprit as better fighting check and rocker. This set focuses more on luring, wallbreaking early game and it does it well, as all mesprit common checks gets easily weakened if opponent doesnt have hard counter. They wont really expect HP Ground and it does big damage to some of the common psychic checks like steelix and skuntank. Moveset depends on team, you run signal beam if you like killing malamar and some other psychics , and ice beam if your team already deals with them well.

252+ SpA Life Orb Mesprit Hidden Power Ground vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Aggron: 489-577 (174 - 205.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Mesprit Hidden Power Ground vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Aggron: 442-525 (157.2 - 186.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Swellow @ Choice Specs
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Boomburst
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- U-turn

I think HP Fighting might become something to seriously consider on Specs Swellow, atleast in the coming two weeks or so. Heat Wave only 2HKOs 50% of the time, and in a scenario where Aggron switches in at full, you might wanna be able to kill it in one hit.

Garbodor @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 96 Spe
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
- Gunk Shot
- Focus Blast

I think Focus Blast on even defensive Garbodor is gonna become a staple on it for the next couple of weeks due to Drain Punch not even 2HKOing Aggron, while even with the -Special Attack Nature, Focus Blast easily OHKOs Aggron. Garbodor even outspeeds Adamant Aggron, making it a rather effective lure to it.

0- SpA Garbodor Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Aggron: 312-368 (111 - 130.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Vileplume @ Black Sludge
Ability: Effect Spore
EVs: 224 HP / 252 Def / 32 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 1 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 SpD
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Moonlight
- Hidden Power [Ground]

So basically I think that hp ground on Vileplume is less obvious than on a psychic type since hp fire is still quite necessary on Vileplume in my opinion. However, if your team really doesn't care about Ferroseed already, hp ground on Vileplume can be a great little lure for an unsuspecting Aggron. The opponent is likely to switch Aggron in on Vileplume expecting to grab a quick kill with the ever so feared CB Head Smash so this will work :)

Here's a cool calc:
0 SpA Vileplume Hidden Power Ground vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Aggron: 284-336 (101 - 119.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Cryogonal @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Freeze-Dry
- Recover

Ah Cryogonal, the disowned Ice type :(. Cryogonal actually packs quite a punch and has other roles with its decent support options like spin and recover. Hidden Power Fighting allows Cryo to stay in on Aggron and OHKO in pretty much every scenario by a long shot.

252 SpA Cryogonal Hidden Power Fighting vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Aggron: 320-380 (113.8 - 135.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Muk @ Choice Band
Ability: Poison Touch
EVs: 220 HP / 252 Atk / 36 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Gunk Shot
- Shadow Sneak
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch

Poison types usually give a free switch to Aggron (Skuntank, Vileplume...) but not Muk.

252+ Atk Choice Band Muk Focus Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Aggron: 552-652 (196.4 - 232%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Focus Punch Muk is kind of an underrated lure to a lot of things that normally beat Poison types and I feel that it needs to get some recognition (which is why this is the second time I submitted it)

Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
- Hidden Power Ground

I think it's safe to say that Aggron is very easy to lure in, anyway here's another lure that can also act as your Skuntank lure and potentially catch Pyroars.
252 SpA Mismagius Hidden Power Ground vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Aggron: 340-404 (120.9 - 143.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

You could also use Aggron as setup fodder if it's locked into Low Kick!

Lanturn @ Assault Vest
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 248 SpA / 92 SpD / 168 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA
- Scald
- Volt Switch
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Grass]

No mention on it on the analysis, so I guess it qualifies as a lure. HP Grass is an easy 2HKO, while Gastrodon can't do that much back, outside of Earth Power for 35%, or Toxic. Normally Gastrodon is an easy switch-in to Lanturn, but not with this set, which I think will gain more popularity over the coming weeks.

252+ SpA Lanturn Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Gastrodon: 240-284 (56.3 - 66.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Gastrodon Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 144 SpD Assault Vest Lanturn: 128-152 (32.7 - 38.8%) -- 98.6% chance to 3HKO

Arbok @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Coil
- Gunk Shot
- Seed Bomb
- Sucker Punch

Gastrodon is normally an extremely safe switch into Arbok, even if it has a Coil set up, however with Seed Bomb, you can OHKO at +1, or have a chance at OHKOing before a boost with Stealth Rock up. This works well as a lure, because Arbok is extremely uncommon, and the few Arbok that are around mainly run Earthquake.

+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Arbok Seed Bomb vs. 252 HP / 244+ Def Gastrodon: 520-614 (122 - 144.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Arbok Seed Bomb vs. 252 HP / 244+ Def Gastrodon: 348-411 (81.6 - 96.4%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Samurott @ Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
- Aqua Jet

252+ SpA Life Orb Samurott Grass Knot (60 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Gastrodon: 390-463 (91.5 - 108.6%) -- 50% chance to OHKO

Gone.
(not much else to say, samurott becomes extremely threatening if gastrodon is your opponents only water resist. I dont think HP electric is that useful on Rott since pelipper/mantines are rly decreasing in usage and grass knot deals with poliwrath, which is another good samurott check. Moveset is pretty customizable)

Raichu @ Life Orb
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot
- Focus Blast / Hidden Power [Ice]

252 SpA Life Orb Raichu Grass Knot (60 BP) vs. 252 HP / 12 SpD Gastrodon: 312-369 (73.2 - 86.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

I hope this post is more viable than my previous one (that i deleted). Anyway, Raichu hits a nice speed tier and if you can manage to Nasty Plot on the predicted Gastrodon switch in, you may have a chance at sweeping the opponent since Raichu has decent coverage.

Kabutops @ Liechi Berry
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance / Rapid Spin / Whatever
- Natural Gift
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Jet

The good old Seismitoad lure is back to business. With Liechi Berry and Natural Gift, Kabutops can throw off a powerful 100 BP Grass move against what is without a doubt his hardest counter (which means that it'll be switching in against tops 99% of the time).

252+ Atk Liechi Berry Kabutops Natural Gift (100 BP Grass) vs. 252 HP / 244+ Def Gastrodon: 408-480 (95.7 - 112.6%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO, which becomes a guaranteed KO if rocks are up.

Omastar @ Shuca Berry / White Herb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest/Timid Nature
- Shell Smash
- Surf / Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Grass

Gastrodon at full health is usually a fine SS Omastar switch in as it can switch in on the setup turn and proceed to live the +2 Ice Beam and OHKO Oma with Earth Power (if not Shuca).

So with HP Grass instead of the standard electric, Omastar can succesfully lure in and OHKO Gastrodon:

+2 252+ SpA Omastar Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 12 SpD Gastrodon: 560-660 (131.4 - 154.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 SpA Omastar Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 12 SpD Gastrodon: 560-660 (131.4 - 154.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

HP Grass can also hit Lanturn for SE damage so it's not exclusevily used for Gastrodon.

Liepard @ Choice Band
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Gunk Shot

Play Rough Liepard is a pretty cool lure for fighters in general. Even though it's unstabbed, the fact that it'll be boosted by an item AND will hit supereffectively means that it'll be doing quite a good damage, more than enough to 2HKO in most cases and Poliwrath is no exception. Poliwrath is well known as an amazing Liepard counter so most people will just mindlessly send him in, only to receive a Play Rough onto the face.

252 Atk Choice Band Liepard Play Rough vs. 96 HP / 0 Def Poliwrath: 236-278 (68.4 - 80.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
