Battle Rules

You PM 4 pokemons to the ref from your team, but the battle will be 3vs3 singles. You will choose and send out your mons as the battle develops.

Abilities:
All
Items: All
Subsitutions: 3
Megas: 1
Z-Moves: 1
Infinite Recoveries/Chills
Turn Order:
Coin Flip
Arena: ASB Tournament Arena
Ubers Rule:
Each type has an Ubers list. You may only use one of those Pokemon per match. NOTE: This would mean that you can only send in 1 mon from that list per match.
Special Rule: Pokemon are equipped on send-in, similar to how Anime-Style Simulator challenges work.
Special Rule #2: The Gym League rules on Megas is in effect. A mega may be used as long as it shares a type with the gym. Pokemon that mega evolve into a Pokemon with the right type can only be used in their mega evolved form, and enter the field mega evolved (see: Mega Lopunny in Fighting). Pokemon that lose the proper type on mega evolution may not be used (see: Mega Aggron in Rock).
Special Rule #3: Silvally can be used, but it must hold the Memory associated with the typing of the team, unless you are Normal, in which case, you cannot use a Memory. Silvally will be immune to any item-changing/removing effect if it is holding a Memory item, and Knock Off will get a boosted BAP against a Silvally holding a Memory.
Team Blank Slate

Gastrodon [M] [Gokudera Hayato]
Nature: Quiet
Type: Water/Ground

[Abilities]
Sticky Hold (Passive)
This Pokemon's body is covered in a sticky substance that prevents item theft or swapping.

Storm Drain (Passive)
This Pokemon lures all water attacks to itself, altering their course away from partner Pokemon. It absorbs the water and increases its Special Attack by one (1) stage. If this ability was triggered by an opponent's attack, the natural stage is adjusted.

Sand Force (Passive) [Hidden]
This Pokemon thrives in Sandstorm conditions, using the power of the swirling sand to augment its Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-typed attacks. Each of this Pokemon's Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-typed attacks will have the Base Attack Power increased by two (2). Pokemon with this ability are immune to Sandstorm damage.

“Finally, I get to ref at a normal arena. Though, the location is rather odd. There is absolutely no one here and it is in the middle of nowhere. Well anyways, here come our battlers.”

Frosty and Blank Slate arrive at the seemingly abandoned arena and prepare themselves for battle. Suddenly, the ground shakes violently; the colosseum begins to separate from the ground and begins rising into the air.

“OH C’MON, I CAN'T HAVE JUST ONE NORMAL DAY! Oh, whatever this arena is very suspicious so I think I’ll ref from the sky. Go Jeepers use Fly and get me off this death trap.”

“Caw”

“Now lets decide the order of this fight shall we. I think I’ll just use my handy RNG device for this one. Jeepers, swoop to the trainer of choice on my mark.”
RNG Decide said:
The RNG Device is deciding between the two. Jeepers began to descend...

Out of 10000, Blank (<=5000) or Frosty (>=5001): 825 = Blank

“Caw Caw”

With one fell swoop, past Blank Slate, TBK and his Honchkrow returned above the now floating arena. The battle is just about to begin

Unfortunately, the gooey mass of Hayato keep it's item safe and he proceed's to set up a mirage of clones. However the Empoleon is smart, he immediately picks out the real Hayato and blasts him with a powerful Hidden Power. Hayato's plan now not going to plan, he tries a sly Mud Bomb attack. Gwyn, unnerved by the attack fires off another Hidden Power. The force of the attack sends Gastrodon sliding across the arena. In the momentum of the slide, the Gastrodon attempts another attack and using the Mud generated from his slide and forces it back at the Empoleon. The attack may not have done much damage but he was able to slow down his opponents movements with that load of mud.

The field was silent for a split second before a loud, glaring beam of light pierced through the dirt cloud. I don't get those calcs, TBK. Empoleon's Atk is rank 3. Intimidate lowers the attack stage by 1, not the rank. So Empoleon enters the round with 4atk rank and +1 stage, intimidate lowers stage to 0 and triggers defiant that raises it to 2. Rank goes from 4 to 3 due to end of RCB. This means Brick Break deals (8+(3*1.5-4*1.5))*1.5+(2*2)= 13.75hp

Protect - COMBO (Flail + Brick Break) - cooldown
IF
Flail + Brick Break is deemed unfeasible THEN COMBO (Grass Knot + Grass Knot) instead

Empoleon: -16 HP, -49 EN
Gyarados: -42 HP, -16 EN

The Gyarados shakes the crumbling stage once again but this time Gwyn prepares himself for the attack. He stiffens his steel wings into the ground and hardens his body to Protect himself from the Earthquake attack. The Gyarados rushes the Empoleon and in a flash rips the Empoleon out of the ground and tosses him with a powerful Crunch. While in the air Empoleon channels the remaining bit of his energy into one final attack. He fires an over-clocked Grass Knot attack directly at the Gyarados. Gwyn hits the ground in front of his trainer and is now unable to get back up again due to exhaustion of his attack.

Lucario then proceeded to continue his assault with a devastating Low Kick. With his last breath, Hibari struggled out as the poison took the mighty Gyarados down.

"Blank's Gyarados is now swimming with the fishes. With only one Pokemon left and his opponent with 2 at practically full, Blank has a full plate to deal with. Let's see how these trainers will handle this situation"

NDA on Endure: "The user braces itself for impact and until the end of the round will not be KOed by damaging attacks or energy exhaustion through the user's own moves, surviving with at least 1 HP and 1 EN instead. Enduring users may not use Combos. If a move's description states that it fails unless the user has enough energy the Pokemon still needs to have enough energy to use the move. Endure does not help the user survive residual damage such as poison, burn, sandstorm, Future Sight, etc., and Endure does not prevent EN KO caused by the effects of other moves used on the user, such as Nightmare (Encored moves do not cause the Endure user to EN KO, since they're still the ones using the move). All effects that are based on the damage an enemy deals (ex. Bide, Iron Barbs) to the user act as though the opponent did full damage, even if Endure negated some of the damage. Endure can be used successfully multiple times in the same round by the same Pokemon, however a Pokemon cannot use Endure if it successfully used Endure in the previous round. This move fails unless the user can pay the entire Energy Cost. Z-Move Effect: The user's negative stat changes are reset to 0, adjusting the natural stage of the reset stats."

(just so you don't miss it on the big tl;dr)

Gyarados should struggle

Slowbro @ Expert Belt
Fire Blast-Foul Play-Flamethrower
IF a sucessful P/E, THEN Light Screen the first instance, Reflect Second instance.
IF a damaging Ghost type combination, THEN Protect.
IF a non-damaging Status inducing move, AND THEN Magic Coat and push actions back.

With swift paws, Raine digs underground to avoid a Fire Blast from the Slowbro. He returns to the surface and attacks Slowbro from below. Now within range, Dokuro attempts to a Foul Play attack however, Raine reads the attack and mimic’s it. In a struggle both of the mons attack each other with their Foul Play’s. Dokuro looks like he took more damage than Raine did and it seems like Raine used the attack to his advantage as the dark attack was partially absorbed into his own aura. Once again, Lucario retreats underground to avoid a Flamethrower and attacks with a Dig attack.
