My second team.

Hello fellow Smogoners.I'm psycho sid, quite new on shoddy and have played adv for 8 months in general.I lack a proper understanding of the platinum metagame, and would consider it great If I am guided in my path and my team gets rated. Here it is.

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/236 Atk/12 Def/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Meteor Mash
- Bullet Punch
- Explosion
---

Standard lead Metagross. This is the first time I've used one in my team, and it works quite well. The fact that it's multipurpose makes me love it.

Firstly, it lays down spikes effectively.Very few lead pokemon namely Heatran, can KO it.

Secondly, Meteor Mash is a very powerful STAB move coming off a 401 attack.<3 the attack raises.

Thirdly, Metagross gives me a priority move.I've had my ass saved many times because of it.It's just that invaluable.

Forthly, I just explode Metagross on stuff that I have trouble countering or I
have the previous knowledge that this can cause hinderance to my team.

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Recover
---

This being a bulky offense team,Latias might be the best bulky sweeper out there.Combined with a Life Orb, it's a behemoth.I just wait for their steel type to die and anything thats tried to crawl in eats a Draco Meteor on the face.Other moves are standard. As I recently made this team, I can change them anytime depending on the pokemon I have issues countering.(HP fighting maybe? lol.Have issues with tyranitar, always comes in and KO's for sure with Pursuit :(.Thats the only downfall of Latias IMO.)

Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Extremespeed
- Ice Punch
---

My main sweeper. The thing which I love in Lucario and what makes it unique that its one of those good sweepers who actually have a good priority move.Usually pass this a sub from Jolteon whenever I can to setup.
Last slot is open for change.

Jolteon (M) @ Leftovers

Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
---

As this is my first time using Jolteon in my teams, I can't say much about it.It seems quite neutral in my team, KO'ing below half hp pokemon and passing substitute's (It's really difficult sometimes).HP Grass for Swampert,As I have no definite counter *as of yet* for it.

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 248 HP/44 Spd/216 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Heal Bell
- Roost
- Thunder Wave
- Dragon Pulse
---

As I already mentioned, This is a bulky offense team, So I wanted to keep a dragon and wanted a bulky one.Dragonite turned out to be the best client and it also learns Heal Bell :D.Atm its not working too good.I think this can be changed.

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP/252 Def/68 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Surf
- Roar
---

Vaporeon turns out to be a great addition to the team because it can absorb water moves and heal itself plus can roar annoying stuff (btw I have volt absorb and water absorb both now lol).It also further supports my team with wish.Best utility bulky water imo.Has issues with strong attacks.

I'll be soon posting a list of OU pokemon and how I counter them.Pictures will be added soon once I get time.
