Hey guys, only been on shoddy for a day or so and this is my first team. Having some success but I was wondering what changes could be made to make it better. I'm not that well versed in aspects of the metagame so, please go easy :toast:

Lead:
Adamant Sandslash @ leftovers
Ability: Sand veil
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Def
Earthquake- Good type coverage. Deals with Arcanine.
Nightslash- Take care of those pesky pixies that I see quite often as leads.
Stealth Rock- Allow me a chance to setup early
Rapid Spin- In case the opponent has the same idea

Bulky Water:
Bold Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP, 4 Spe, 252 SpD
Psychic- Obligatory STAB
Surf- As above
Rain Dance- Give a boost to surf as well as benefiting my Ludicolo
Slack Off- Recovery

Offensive Sponge:
Calm Ludicolo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 204 HP, 104 Spe, 76 SpA, 124 SpD
Grass Knot- Take down bulky waters e.g Quagsire, Milotic
Ice Beam- Take down fellow grass types
HP Electric- Flying types as well as opposing water
Surf- STAB

Offensive Tank-
Lonely Hariyama @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 80 HP, 172 Atk, 252 Def, 4 Spe
Ice Punch- Dragons, flying etc
Knock Off- Mess a few sweepers up
Whirlwind- As Above
Revenge- To murder normal types

Now the next two I doubt a bit because I don't exactly know what niche they occupy on my team. I mean Toxicroak is supposed to be a sweeper but in execution I find it dies horribly quick.

Jolly Drapion @ Scope Lens
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Spe
Cross Poison
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Night Slash

Adamant Toxicroak @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
Cross Chop
Sucker Punch
Swords Dance
Taunt

Hey, I see that you're new to Smogon, so I'm going to warn you that your thread is probably in violation of rule #3, among others. Here's the rule:

"3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice."

So you should add some descriptions of each Pokemon's role, not just what their moves do. You can find the rest of the rules in the stickies at the top of the RMT list, if you haven't already read them. Good luck!
